- You should not be taking it so you can take Vindication. If there are no other Paladins in your group the DPS can live with a flat 550AP boost.

- 9/6 Rotation should be always used regardless of what you are tanking. Theorycrafting has demonstrated it is the best method for maximizing TPS.

- The +170 STA is nice, obviously. The use effect not so much. Currently I have both the +170 Brewfest trinkets and use them when I know a fight doesn't require as much Avoidance and having a larger HP pool is more important to increase effective health. In other situations you want to have some avoidance trinkets where having a large HP pool is not as useful. Keep in mind more avoidance means more mana returned from Blessing of Sanc (which you should always have on when tanking).

Use the spreadsheet(s). EP values change depending on the gear you have, so there are no set EP values for Mutilate or any other spec.

On an amusing tangent, I really liked this comment from mechaj in the MMO-Champion thread:

""Bronjahm, the Godfather of Souls"

Bronjahm -> Brownjames -> James Brown the Godfather of Soul"
If the fight mechanic involves melting him in a hot tub I'm quitting wow ;/

This is a pedantic point, but that isn't true. There are several rotations which are higher threat than a straight 969 - demonstrated here - but they generally involve sacrificing either Holy Shield uptime or risk the Judgements of the Just debuff falling off (through Judgement substitution). 969 is the highest threat rotation which maximises Holy Shield uptime and minimises the risk of JotJ falling off, not the absolute highest TPS rotation. It's still the "best" rotation for that reason.

Haste

I've scanned this thread as best as I could and I appologize if this has already been addressed...

Tonight I plan on respec'ing unholy to provide ebon plague to our 10 man raids, as we have no active warlock, several shadow priests and other DKs (none of which are UH).

I'm currently blood 2H DPS spec'd as I have been more or less since I started my DK. With the recent haste changes how far should I go with gems and gear to shift ArP and STR into haste? I currently have only the 2pT9 bonus (probably a couple weeks out still on 4p). I'm prepared to deal with a net loss on personal DPS switching to UH from Blood 2H, but I still want to maximize my DPS from gems/enchants.

Has anyone found a sweet spot or at least a minimum level of haste I should carry in my build - or should I just gem for it when it makes sense (such as yellow sockets) and focus on STR in other sockets?

This is my first post so be gentle with me.

You should only ever gem for strength. Haste is picked up on gear.

Not sure if this has been covered, but:

Does rejuvenation crits (off of the 4pc t9) proc NG? If so, then we're all so far overcapped on haste we may as well not even discuss it further.

Incorrect. First priority is hit up to 7% or 8% as necessary, then strength. If an item has red/yellow or just yellow sockets with a 4+ strength bonus, then a str/haste gem will be more dps than a str gem.

According to the stat weights in the OP, if there is a socket bonus of 4 str or better you get more from a 10 str/10 haste gem than a 20 str gem, assuming you are using the 16/0/55 blood presence build.

Holy Paladin question.

Hi, I'm new to this forum and this topic was to huge to read it all so i don't know if I repeat a past question so I shout.

I'm a Holy Paladin with 27k Mp, should I keep putting Intellect gems or shall I focus on something else ?

Thanks in advance.

Question about weapon enchants

I just noticed that, according to the updated pocket guide for 3.2, the mongoose enchant is now again a viable option if one has reached the T9 (assuming item level 245+) gear level.

Just wondering why, and if it is recommended to be put on both weapons or just one of them.

Possible warlock set bonus/glyph stack

Hello, I am down to the point where I am debating whether to get rid of my Tier 8 two set for certain gear upgrades. Over the past few days, I was curious if Glyph of Immolate (Which increases immolate's periodic damage by 10%) and my tier 8 two set, (which increases the damage of immolate by 10%...) stack as far as periodic damage goes to increase conflagrate damage by 20%, if not, Ill most likely start to get the mats together for Merlins Robe, thank you.

No. No living seed, no crit procs etc.

Has anyone done the math for stat weight of spirit (post kings + talents) vs crit rating for raw throughput (HPS)? Assuming the general (4t9) 40-50% rejuv 30% WG 20% lifebloom/various direct heals that crit.
