Just a quick double question here regarding haste and expertise.

I am a dps dk with both blood and unholy spec, what figures should i be looking for for both exp and haste with both specs pls?.

And not wanting to spam the boards with many threads can someone please confirm the human dk hit is 8% and not 9% as some people seem to think for 2 handed?

I agree with this. They are taking away one of our ticks. As someone who recently broke 4pcT8, i feel like i'm losing 2 ticks on my most-healed spell. i am nerd raging right now.

Mace versus dagger, COMBAT.

Hi.

I have been around the whole forum for answer for now 2 days without success so I now try here.

My question is if I should equip a dagger in offhand with (163,3 dps) and 1,8 speed instead of the mace I use now which has (171,5 dps) and 2,6 speed.
I am specced mace specialization since my main hand is a mace as well so by changing that I will loose on that point, however I know from other post here at the forums that you should use a fast offhand as combat to get more energy from talents.

I wonder if the 0,8 faster speed on offhand will weight up the loss of 8,2 dps on offhand including loosing mace specialization on that offhand.

I am not getting very convinced by damage meters that I've runned on training dummy since it seems to be so random.

Slow off hand is NOT optimal. Take the Rondel for now, but even that counts as a slow dagger. You want something 1.5 or faster if your going to be running as combat.

Also, when speccing for weapons, it really only applies to your Main hand weapon. If you have a MH sword, spec Hack N Slash, MH Fist specc CQC etc. Never let your off hand decide your specialization.

Put the dagger in the OH and put a point in CQC. Best thing for questions like this is to use the combat spreadsheet.

Well, i got a trophy of crusade out of ToC and 75 emblems...

Ppl are talking a lot about the 4p set bonus so i was wondering if its better to rush 4p t9 or use 75emblens + trophy to get a better piece...

Also, if i get 4p set t9 will unholy spec do more damage than blood?

1st post here and i recieve an infraction for "begging for handholding"

Well i tell you what, go and stick your website up your fucking arse if the general attitude is like this. I know this is the internet and "mods" usually massage their frail egos by flaming at people on their little patch because more often than not they sit in front of a pc all day in their pants eating pot noodles and not opening their curtains but if you ask me the "infraction" was uncalled for.

Now ban me, warn me, i dont really give a shit, one thing i certainly dont need my "hand holding" in is how to reboot my router if this acc gets canned and the use of disposable emails....Yeah you can range ban if needed but i doubt the site owner (not the snotty little fucks with a title on the forum boards) would like to see such a huge range, and multiple with sky for that matter alienated.

And if it does turn into a pissing up the internet wall competition my mispent youth taught me a few things from a simple ddos to sql injections if i managed to find the time to piss about with the morons hallowed little piece of turf.

I asked 3 simple questions, and was polite about it too and what a welcome to have.

I checked with the latest combat spreadsheet i found, according to what gear i have at the moment.
and my question is in regard to the theory of when one should swap to mongoose instead of berserking, (according to the pocket guide for 3.2 it's around tier 9+)

did my comparison between the two specs i'm trying out. swords vs maces.
with the gear that i have at the moment, swords came ahead of maces by roughly 20 dps.
(mace spec with around 7905 dps, swords around 7925 dps)

in the spreadsheet i tried swapping mongoose over berserking, but berserking still comes ahead no matter how i look at it.
So... when should one be swapping weapon enchants to mongoose? or if someone could be so kind as to point me in the right direction.

I have been searching around the forum for a few days now, but have not found any convincing argument so far.

I hope you realize several things.

1.) Grow Up

2.) If you just would read the front page of both the Blood and Unholy DPS pages they would answer your questions. This would take much less time than what you are proposing.

3.) You sir are an Asshole..... coming from someone who should know.

Hodir * - Timed ticking AOE ability.
Thorim * - Raid damage due to blizzard, Frost bolts, CL.
Freya * - Timed AOE ability that does ~75% of the raid's hp.
Mimiron * - 2 phases with AOE damage, 2 without.
Vezax * - Originally the OoC fight of choice, now a joke with reduced hp.
Yogg* - No consistent AOE damage, though hot stacks on various targets are beneficial particularly during P1.
Algalon - Timed AOE raid damage (when stars die), random minimal AOE damage from smash.

Summary of Ulduar:
The only fights I do not consistently top meters spamming rejuv/WG and the occasional raid patch are:
FL, Razorscale, Auriaya, Thorim. Yogg I am typically at the top by a wide margin until the last phase which is pretty much only tank damage minus roar.

We can safely remove FL. This means out of 13 eligible fights, I am capable of topping meters on 9 of them via my normal play style (which includes actively assisting on the tanks via expiring lb or mend). (69%) I have experimented with trying to top meters on Thorim and Auriaya and have occasionally had success, but it means a break from my normal style to a more selfish style of healing, which is not my preference.

Now let's look at Coliseum, again heroic/hard 25:

NRB - Not a whole lot of AOE going on here. Not enough that rejuv stacking the raid would give you much of anything at all.
Jarraxus - Not a whole lot of AOE going on here. Not enough that rejuv stacking the raid would give you much of anything at all.
Faction Champs - Depends on how you play it, but rejuv stacking can completely rock the meters here. (I tend to be CCing since the healing need is pretty low if you minimize the incoming damage to your raid).
Twins - AOE healing fun-time.
Anuburak - I think over the entirety of the fight I do around 5k hps more than the 2nd highest healers. In the swarm phase I sustain 15-17k HPS the entire time.

So 5 fights, 2 with heavy raid AOE, a third that could theoretically could be rejuv spammed to win meters -- 60% of fights where druids can be the top healer and by a pretty large margin.

So now let's factor one less tick on my rejuv. I am no napkin math all-star but my gut instincts tell me that the fights I've dominated on in 3.2, I will still be topping in 3.3 though obviously by a slightly smaller margin. The fights I wasn't topping meters on I doubt I'll be much worse at. I can't even legitimately argue that fights that favor rejuv will result in raid deaths, though to be fair Anuburak will be slightly affected in terms of active rejuvs I can maintain.

There is no foundation for an argument to lower the mana cost on rejuv as a result of this. I have absolutely 0 mana problems as it stands using every single global on every single fight (fully gemmed red, no IED, not using my own innervate (I do glyph it so I see the kickback), not using a mana potion - though I do get mana tide by virtue of my group location). My mana consumption will not change because rejuv is shorter? None of you should be able to argue differently if you are using your absolute maximum amount of casts per encounter. I will agree that healing per mana spent will obviously dip but not by a severe enough amount that there are live-or-die ramifications inherent in that.

So, am I pleased about the change? No, of course not. Did I cry myself to sleep last night? No.

I was wondering, since the ArP nerf, is stacking ArP worth stacking compared to other stats like agility and attack power? I get different answers from different rogues. Im a 15/51/5 Combat rouge btw. Here is my armory,
