Use Arpen-Food until the weapon drops and then free up some arpen by regemming to agility

Weapon speed for SOC is now largely irrelevant as far as white and seal damage is concerned.
Note that judgement of command is dependant on the damage range of your weapon, so even while levelling, 'bigger damage per hit' does matter, so that typically means slower is better.

Once you get CS, weapon speed matters even more (and still more once you get DS). At that point, you want CS to hit as hard as possible each time you hit it, thus slow is prefered once you get CS.


The levelling game has changed a lot since vanilla... You pretty much blitz through the levels well before you can properly finish questing in a zone and typically have to skip a lot of content along the way because you outgrow it. The same is true for your gear. Anything you get is typically going to be obsolete a few hours after equipping it for the first time. Just go with anything that drops that's an upgrade. Trying to min/max your gear while levelling is somewhat futile as you replace stuff so fast.
Khoo's is decent for a 2hander. Although in the same level range Pendulum of doom or Thornstone Sledgehammer would be much better (for BOE's). But khoo's is probably a lot cheaper and it'll do it's job. It's not like there's much 'hard' stuff to kill at that level

Tip: if you can't get the heirloom weapon... Go AV as soon as you hit 51 and hope for a win. Ice barbed spear is easy to get and will last you quite a while as 'best' until you can upgrade it with 58+ greens from outland.

Yeh thought as much, just wasnt sure if i was missing something.

We can now safely say weapon speed is irrelevant till level 50 (CS) .

Hey, im trying to make a macro for my rotation, the only problem i have a steady shot atm.
The current macro i have is working fine, no problems, sort of but not really. its working the way i intended it too, but not the way im wanting it to work.

/castsequence reset=target serpent sting, null
/castsequence chimera shot, aimed shot

Now, i cant seem to find a way to put steady shot in there to continually cast it unless it can use one of the above commands. But i may need to cast steady shot inbetween chimera and aimed shots....
Does ne1 have ideas or answers? Is it even possible?

I have one question, i couldn't find answer on forum: What is haste "cap", eg. after what haste rating crit becomes better scaled ? I saw that someone said 500, but after that someone else said that all up to 800 haste is better scaled (ofc. considering normail 25 man raid, boss fights and BL).

Can anyone answer this ?

Is weapon swap worth it, when I have only one 232 [ [Orcish Deathblade] ]and one 245 [ [Stygian Bladebreaker] ] 1.4 speed dagger from normal tocs. Or should I wait till heroic version toc10 drops or 245 from toc25 drops again?

And what about , when Stygian Bladebreaker - heroic drops [ [Stygian Bladebreaker] ] ? Is it worth it to swap it with Stygian Bladebreaker - normal? And when it is , which should be the primary OH and which swaping OH?
