Hey, my guilds currently working on Heroic twins, we only put a couple attempts in last week and i used that to do some dps testing and from what i saw it looked like i was getting close, to higher dps using HS instead of cleave, i was wondering if anyone saw the same thing. sunders were on both targets and i am specced into the imp cleave

I did not save the chart, but i might be able to pull out the wws stat if we still have it

So i am taking the main spec of my warrior from Prot to Fury. The first question is what should i have for a hit rating, as i do have precision? Atm i have hit rating of 286. Also what is the best rotation? and how should i use my cd's. Like i said i'm a noob at dps.

Since youll never be short on rage during that fight you should be spamming cleave just as much as heroic strike.

You want to cap expertise before you worry about hit. With a draenei, your hit percentage can dip as low as 4%, however if you dont have a person giving your raid a hit percentage buff you'll be safe at 6% or 7%. For future reference to rotation and stat caps download landsoul's spreadsheet.

i have over 2400 gear score on my warrior in dps spec and still i am at 3k dps. can someone check my toon and give me some pointers.

ok can't get the spreadsheet to download. what should i have for expertise? Don't feel bad i have over 2500 gear rating and only doing around 2K. So i am obviously doing something wrong here.

I'm going to say this once, because I really don't want to be adding to the "wasted space" class of postings. ARBITRARY "GEAR SCORES" MEAN ZILCH. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. At all.

There is no discussion to be had here. It means nothing when talking about optimizing your character for performance. It only has two uses - gearing for Flame Leviathan, and appeasing PuGs. Period.

OK. Well the question still remains how do i get more dps out of my warrior. What attributes should i be capping? and what are the caps for them? and also what rotation should i be using? I am a Prot Warrior converting to Fury. So i need some help here, because i am clueless.

I've had my druid on the shelf lately, but we've had inconsistnent tank attendence recently, so my raid leader has encouraged me to get him back up to speed in case we need an emergency tank. I have a pretty good handle on the gear aspects, but was questioning my build a little

My current spec is this, which was largely at the recommendation of the now-defunct Tooth and Claws blog. It doesn't have Imp. Mangle, instead picking up King of the Jungle and Shredding Attacks for those fights where I'd be switching out of bear to DPS after adds are dealt with (although KoJ has its uses when heavy threat gen is required, I suppose).

Is this spec still considered a good one? I see a lot of folks tending towards Imp. Mangle, with the other two points put either into King of the Jungle or Feral Aggression.

If it makes a difference, my off spec is currently a kitty build (I'd take my main if we needed a healer), so I don't need to use this spec to DPS with when not used as a tank for the fight.

The spec you have looks fine if you are planning to go off tank role, where you could be switching back and forth from bear to cat forms. However main tank spec is usually a bit different. If you check out mine or any number of others' profiles that post here you'll see main tank spec drops the 2pts Shredding Attacks and 3 pts KoJ in favor of 5 pts Feral Aggression.

Is the extra debuff that useful? I only ask because the person doing the TankSpot rotation guide actually specs 55/16, which puts no points in Feral Aggression, Infected Wounds or KoJ, instead putting them into Imp. Mangle and Master Shapeshifter. He implied at one point that most tanks take the Imp. Mangle talent, but since the majority I've seen haven't taken the Master Shapeshifter, I'm a little skeptical.

you have to much hit, not enough expertise, and the wrong gems in almost every piece of gear. your not going to get over 3k dps because you are still in heroic/nax type gear, you should hit the simple question and answer thread for more information on rotation and exact stat caps
