They are so close now that it depends on socketbonuses. In general I would say that go for sp unless you can get sp or haste bonuses from using haste/sp gems, but I recommend to use rawr for it.

I have some questions about gems. In the spreadsheet i keep getting different results wether or not to use 10ag/10crit or 20ag in yellow sockets where the socket bonus gives 4agility. Its the shoulder's, Gloves and planestalker band(ring), that has theese sockets, and im currently running 20agility gems in those. Should i swap out my 20ag, with 10ag/10crit?

I’ve read most of the thread and I have some questions:

Does the template 55/8/8 is rentable less the 4th piece t9 bonus?

What about cleave? Does it replace HS in Aoe situation? And thunderclap ? When do you use it?

Somebody can tell me if I have to stop gem Arp and start gem St? I have 38% +10% +6% +Grim Toll.

I would go with the 20AGI because 14agi + 10crit i dont think is worth as much as 20agi off the bat that scales with buffs. It may only look like 6agi lost but it is more then you think when it comes to getting buffs like Kings etc.

Hi guys, I have a dumb question I think. I'm a fire mage and wonder if Arcane Focus increases my chance to hit with all spells or just Arcane spells. So 3 pts in AF will allow me to be capped at 14%? RAWR shows my HR at over 20% when my char pane shows 17%. I've trolled around looking for an answer to the AF question when applied to a fire build and would love any insight into my question. Thanks

From the tooltip: "Increases your chance to hit and reduces the mana cost of your Arcane spells by 3%".

I'm not sure how it could possibly be any clearer than that.

Raiding Toc25HM as Disc, I frequently end OOM before Jaraxus death or during Jormungtars.
I'm not proud of my gemming, favouring SP over everything else.
Red 23sp Yellow 12 sp 10 int Blue : 12 sp 15 stam.

Should I swap 15 stam with Spirit or mp5?
Should I put Int in every yellow slot?
Should I just wait for Solace of the Fallen?

I really hope this question hasn't been asked already but, here is the tooltip for the Arcane talent [Arcane Focus]

Increases your chance to hit and reduces the mana cost of your Arcane spells by 1%/2%/3%.

The question is, does the hit rating effect apply to all spell schools and attacks, or strictly to Arcane spells?

So hoping someone with the trinket can check this for me, or maybe someone with more experience since I wasn't a lock during TBC.

But a fellow guildie brought this up about the SW:P glyph and Ashtongue priest trinket and there's a similar situation for Locks now.

The Ashtongue trinket has no ICD, with the new glyph possibly letting corruption become hasted, does this suddenly make it a viable trinket again?

[Ashtongue Talisman of Shadows] is the item in mind, and I realize this won't be best in slot suddenly, but it could be an interesting option for those picking up an old lock.

Checked all over the internet for an answer to this, but sadly I don't know that I'm quite smart enough to figure this out solo.
