Firstly, thanks for the hasty response!

This is just what I wanted to hear. Now I'm free to breath freely once again!
As I've done some "further" research of the topic itself, seems like it's the generally acknowledged basic reality of bear tanks at the moment - just like you, Deboran stated. Thank you for this.

And as for the gemming itself. I had completely forgot about Nightmare Tear and this is what I'm going to utilise in the near future, if some socket bonuses seem reasonable!

After all this, the conclusion I should make, is that I should mostly listen to my gut and not so much some spreadsheets or calculators.

Over and out.

Try to play with 'Survival Soft Cap' setting and you'll understand why Rawr prefers agi and def gems after certain point.

I was wondering, the t9 set doesn't have a lot of haste.
The only two pieces worth to be used are, in my opinion, hands and legs.
The other 2 pieces which are worth to be considered are the shoulders and the head.
In both those 2 slots there are better pieces (the two purchasable with the emblems) but by buying them we lose the 4p t9 bonus.
In your opinion, does the 4p t9 bonus compensate the loss of dps considering that the bonus only gives a 10% increase damage to Immolate?

It's only permanently immune targets so temporary immunity doesn't count. They're not silly enough to hand Frost mages, who are already complained about in Arenas as being too good, a 20k nuke.

That said, I'd be surprised if, in typical mage comps, you could activate DR in time for Deep Freeze.

My simple question:

I've decided to make a DK with the primary aim of tanking from day one. I continually read conflicting info as to the best spec and glyph and weapon combo, so:

For tanking (talking for now up to main tanking the easier raids), what build is best, what glyphs go with it and is it 2h or DW?

Thank you.

Change your Fury of the Five Flightes here. There's no way you can keep the stacks up. Mirror serves MUCH better on this encounter at least.
Cheers for that one. your right. its far better to use the other trinket.

Also the thing with the knockback could be a damage increase.

But I'll try to keep my stack up on the fights.

Great guidance and great updated spreadsheets. The weapon swap macro was also very impressive.

Resto Druid Spec

For some reason every link that redirects to the wow site, they are all empty. Is there a better suggested place to look? I've been a boomkin for two years, and I'm duel spec'ed but the second spec is being wasted atm

Is it worth getting [Glyph of Indomitability] - Glyph of Indomitability for me. I'm a Blood Tank, 32k hp, 26.89% dodge, 18.84% parry, 549 defense, 61.9% damage reduction from armor already. It's a 2% increase in DR for me, but I'm not sure if it's worth spending 50 emblems for.

Here's the armory link to compare to my other trinkets (I'd link them but I don't know how to do it in a pretty way ) - Edit: ok, it's fairly simple :p so here are my current trinkets

[The Black Heart]
[Valor Medal of the First War]

The World of Warcraft Armory

Thanks for the help.
