Since i see several Mac users in one place, I'm hoping one of you can answer my questions.

Have you been able to configure the PTT (Push to Talk) button in TeamSpeex?

I recently switched to a guild using TeamSpeex instead of Vent, and I can't figure out how to configure the PTT key. The place to do so is obvious (talk page of Preferences) but when I click the button to assign a PTT key, it assigns something else. IE/ I select "j" as my PTT key, but the interface displays that I selected "g" - and neither "j" nor "g" actually work. It's like the keyboard is mapped different for that application or something.

I know it would be better to ask on the TeamSpeex forum (TeamSpeex forum) but it appears broken and I can't login there to post a question. (also, I know this is an old thread, but as a new registrant - long time lurker - I can't post a new one

Would you say its likely that changes will be made to bring combat slightly closer in terms of single target DPS to mutt before the patch is released? Or is this going to end up similar to the stark differences we saw in Naxx? The 3kish difference that everyone is reporting (for me it seemed to be about 2000, but my mutt set is significantly lesser then my combat set) seems to be a bit extreme to balance the aoe/single disparagement if you ask me.

We had the same problem, but we ended up paying the $30 or whatever a year to rent a current version TS server with 25 seats from one of the many companies that offer them.

Everyone (including our Mac users like me) had a hugely improved and very smooth Vent experience as a result. Headache over.

And to contribute to the HURR MAC R DUMB discussion that this thread is veering off to: I switched to a Mac Pro over a year ago and not only does WoW run considerably smoother despite the "weaker" hardware, I can use a web browser, iTunes, watch a movie, work in Office, etc all while playing (or AFKing) in WoW without a hitch or slowdown.

That wasn't exactly my experience while I was still using Windows.

Never understood the Mac hate from people that are completely foreign to the subject.

Probably third party "expert" insight from websites like Wired.com et al.

I have a question: Rawr & Toskk disagree about Agi vs. ArP, which do I trust?

Here's gear since I probably logged in PvP gear:

Profiler - Wowhead

Cat form stats (with my own MotW):

AP: 9483
Hit: 264 (~8%)
Exp: 122 (~6.00%)
ArP: 245 (17.51%)
Has: 591 (0.81s)
Crit: 60.02%

In both Rawr and Toskk's I enter my appropriate stats and select the raid buffs I typically get.

For Rawr I made a separate profile and switched all gems to ArP, and it indicates a ~50 DPS loss. Also tried conserving yellow socket bonuses, approximately the same DPS loss.

Toskk's is kind enough to recommend switching to ArP gems, predicting a ~70 DPS gain. Toskk's even ranks Strength above Agility since I can exceed the crit cap by ~2% if everything procs at once.

This is super-confounding since as I understand Rawr is built on Toskk's. Which do I pt my faith (gold) in?

Greetings;

I recently got myself a Death's Verdict and my question is, is it worth regeming my 10 str 10 crit gem slots (yellow sockets to get the 4+str socket bonuses) to arp? I swapped out a grimtol and kept the greatness. So is further stacking my arp, disgregarding socket bonuses going to be beneficial overall?

Most of the rest of your questions were answered, but one slipped by. The AB buff stacks to 4 now. The rotation is AB4AM if mana is low or AB4+MBAM, dropping down in AB stacks only to conserve mana until the next gem/evoc/innervate/mana pot is available.

Hi good morning

Every time I read this site and see the world that hunters are a DPS so high .... I become a thousand questions such as hunters from other realms do dps gear with less than 10k when I reached only 7k on bosses where you can not move like Koralon?
Can someone please look in the armory and tell me if I fail to tell me something, or rotating to follow? I'm missing it hit something but I always have a Draenei in my hand ..
Should I have a macro?
Any food in particular? - I'm eating lunch and taking agility flask of 180ap
