Hello everyone, i have been reading the EJ forums for the past few months for a better understanding of World of Warcraft, but more specifically in preparation for my future main: A troll mage. This is my first post, and i just want to say how valuable your information has been since i started reading.

Here goes: I have heard of an addon (or something configurable through WoW) that let's you customise the volume of any music player (i-tunes in my case) during certain events. This is mininal though, but i thought i would add it to make this related to wow. My main question is that i would like people to give me suggestions on any programs that could 'link' i-tunes and Ventrilo/Teamspeak. For example, when some1 speaks on vent, the volume of i-tunes decreases, so i can more easily hear listen to what they're saying. I have searched the forums for any solutions to this, but i either missed them or they do not exist.
Any alternate suggestions are also welcome!

I haven't seen anything about this yet, and I may have missed it, but does the beta sheet for mutilate actually calculate ruptureless if you select it?

I put in my gear, and it says 8180 dps, and if I change from rupture to rupture-free nothing changes.

The beta sheet does not support Ruptureless rotations.

got bored as hell and decided i liked icy talons and some other things so i tried this build that is below. My other friend who DK tanks was like your crazy man, bladed armor is like 1k AP lost. which, he was not correct but it is a AP lost. the AP lost is around 700.


anyway, it works for heroics, and i tank toc10/25 with it without an issue. It could be better obviously, but if your into KM procs and haste buffs, try it. leave me some feed back about what you think sort of

I am trying to decide whether or not to start farming Titanium.
It seems to me that the low spawn rate of the veins and the materials needed to make bars might make farming ore not worth it. Has anyone had any particular success farming Titanium?

mostly 245 no 258 gear yet but its a matter of time, my guild has first 4 on farm working on anub. My server is very far behind with only 6 guilds having 4 bosses in 25 heroic down none with a clear.

I have several questions that I have been unable to find a solid answer to in the 100 pages of fury. I for one have always been fury and dont plan on changing. I would like to know any improvements if any when it comes to my talent build and my rotation. Currently I am seeing 4k+ in 5man 4600+ in 10man and 5500+ in 25 mans, peaking in raids at or above 7000 for some fights(not including twins) Koralon i can do 7k easy. Any fight I dont have to move alot on I can reach high dps. when I look at recount after jaraxus and my #1 damage is heroic strike with blood thirst in second with WW next. I am in a decent guild for my server with the lowest dps in 25 man being 5k highest being mages most the time with over 7-8k dps, and I cant even touch most of them. I know im lacking somewhere and do not know where. I play with rawr constantly and rawr tells me that with 25man buffs I should be doing 6-7k dps. Which i do see. but 5500 is an overall average, i tend to do most dps on anub (not counting twins at all) putting me over 7000 most every week on that fight. I can hold 7000 on gormok but it goes down as soon as the worms come out.

this is basically my rotation for single target. with multi targets i replace HS with cleave. I know some use cleave over HS but i find myself completely rage starved if i do that on single targets.

1. macro for blood rage and berserker rage
2. Death wish then recklessness and trinket use if one
3. Blood thrist
4. Whirl wind
5. Heroic strike SPAM
6. Slam only when instant
7. Repeat when CDs are up keep heroic strike spam when everything else is on CDs

first main question. I am still unable to get rid of the betrayer. I am using justicebringer and betrayer atm. so to the question. Which slot should my weapons be in? some say slowest weapon in main hand. I read somewhere that Heroic strike spam takes away off hand hits, so there for the better weapon should be in main hand. I have not been able to find a sure answer, please elaborate.

second question. whats better to gem for as fury? ArP or str. Currently unbuffed im at 2315 str 5913 AP 392 ArP Hit capped exp capped 41% crit. geming all str, or str-crit. I have tried to gem for ArP with my JC gems and about 4 +20 ArP gems. with gems and gear I was over 570. actually seen a loss in DPS

The Steady Glyph doesn't work in the Spreadsheet.

If you check the change log from 10/1/2009 version 92a you'll see the change "- If you have Marked For Death talent, Steady Shot always gains the bonus 10% damage from Glyph of Steady Shot." that would explain why you are not seeing any change when switching the glyph in and out.
