I have a question. I'm a enh shaman and currently wearing toc 10/25 gear for the most part. Here are my stats: ap-4563 hit-433 crit-35.04% expertise 26 (with food buff, capped). Those stats are unbuffed and without tots. I read hit and crit gems will have the biggest return so with us getting ap from agil should I stack agil? I'm a jc and was thinking about changing my jc special gems from ap to agil and other gems to agil and crit as well but it seems like i would lose quite a bit of ap would that be a good move and give me more dps? Also with the new patch coming out i've seen t10 and there is no expertise on it at all and the bit of non set pieces that i've seen have no expertise either so I guess my question is how important is expertise?

Hello I am new to the forums here. I was wondering a couple of things.

what are the most used specs (mine is 57/3/11) (no student of mind or magic attunement). And are they going to be changing in 3.3? if so can anyone direct me to about where i can find the answers in teh past 130 or so pages =)

2nd question
my current rotation is arcane blast 4x then missiles if i get the proc. if not i cast Barrage. then go back to the spaming. I have heard and read that using missiles regardless is the de facto way to go but I am not sold on the idea mainly because the 4~ second channel of missiles does just a little bit more than the instant barrage without the side bonus of using barrage i can go straight back to the main nuke AB. Is there a reason for using missiles over barrage and if so why is it (not a big theory craft fan so just say like avg damage is higher or what not thank you)

3rd question
The stacking priority for stats as arcane mages Used to be (as far as I remember)
hit cap (11/8% depending on raid buffs) Spell power, haste, crit, spirit, int
and if I remember correctly from one of the first posts. sp is 1 sp, haste is .8 crit is .6 spirit is .4 and int is .3 or something to that effect. Basically what I am asking for is what is the stat priority, how do they scale and is there a hard cap for haste (I am sitting at 841 25.65% unbuffed) and is crit at this point a higher dps gain (crit is 23.74 w/o molten 31.34 with)
I was always under the impression that arcane mages should stack haste and if you get crit on your gear it is a lucky bonus if this is not true I would like to correct my errors so I can provide a bit more dps for the raid.

Just as a heads up, the new rawr version models 2t10 for arcane, it currently shows it as a pretty big dps increase (around 6%) just for the bonus.

Which also makes arcane's best cycle to be ABSpam0234MBAM ie. use MB-AM as soon as it procs.

Been searching for a while but cant find exactly the answers to my questions, hope u guys dont mind to reply on my question. My questions are all raid PvE based.

1) What is the hit cap ? Or what would u advice to have?
2) What is the crit cap ? Or what would u advice to have?
3) What is the armor penetrating cap? What should i have at least to have benefit of it ?
4) What are the Professions i should take? I am thinking of Jewelcrafting and Blacksmithing ( i ALready have a miner )
5) Atm lvl 77 Warrior. Any advices when i hit 80 ? What factions should i get exalted first?

Whats about "Enchant Weapon - Black Magic"?

"This enchantment now sometimes increases haste rating for the caster rather than inflicting the caster’s target with a
damage-over-time effect. It is also now triggered by landing any harmful spell rather than inflicting damage with a spell.

Is this enchant better then the spellpower enchant?

I wrote a short guide for holy paladins and was thinking if it was ok for me to post it here as i can't yet open threads. I would like to see some comments on it and corrections if needed. I can provide a link for it or e-mail it to you.

Figured it out, BS slots were filled with ArP while I am not a BS.
