Have you checked the food buff in the settings tab?

I'd like to know whether mongoose or berserking will be the best for mutilate in 3.3?
Now that we won't be swapping OH anymore I would guess berserking but I'm not 100% sure.

Avoidance-- when you're worried about many fast hits killing you. This isn't a frequent occurrence for ferals, although it may have been relevant against Algalon. Alternately, valuable for reducing the total amount of healing you take, when your healers are mana-limited, like Vezax.

Resistance-- when an important component of either overall damage or burst damage is magic. Fire resistance on Sarth3D, frost resistance on Hodir, and Nature Resistance on Anub are good references.

Armor-- useful in almost all cases where physical damage is the vast majority of what might kill you.

Stamina-- despite the above, more stamina is still better than any of these in most raid situations. Because of guaranteed healing from druid HoTs/pally beacons, you're going to get healed from that last hit you took, except in really odd places.
Im sitting with 60k buffed hp in raids currently on anub hc. Im thinking, should I focus on avoidance now or what?

to avoid any confusion ,

what is the exact number "you need to see in your charracter sheet" to be arp capped ? (In battle stance, no arp trinket, with sunder and ff on target)

edit: found the answer on the nice post on page 50, can anyone confirm that or tell the info is wrong?

Try either Aldriana's spreadsheet or Mavanas's simulator to see what is best for your given your gear.

Great work

Great work Consider. You definitely give us some things to look at. I think the whole Haste number issue is interesting, definitely going to have to look at that myself.

I find myself in the same position and I have considered regemming some of my gear to agi/stam to boost my avoidance levels...though I'm curious to see what the softcap will be for most of ICC

Biggest thing I saw was that he gemmed for str, and I gemmed for straight ArP. I don't have grim toll, or mjol runestone, though I've been trying. So I guess here's my question, if I dont have one of them, and cant hit 100% ArP, should I even gem for it? I'm just trying to figure out how to get my DPS up. Here's my armory link:

I dunno Sis, based on the last few raids you always seem to be topping the charts consistently.

I am just looking for some numbers but can't find something: which amount of (average) ArP is needed to make ArP gems more useful then AGI gems ( as MM)?

Anybody use this?

The trinket I have just received is the Fetish of Volatile Power
-- Requires Level 80, Item Level 232, Equip: Improves critical strike rating by 114 (2.48% @ L80). Use: Each time you cast a harmful spell, you gain 57 haste rating. Stacks up to 8 times. Entire effect lasts 20 sec. (2 Min Cooldown)

I am a 3/14/54 Destruction Lock with partial T9 (2713 gear score). I got this primarily for the extra crit however am testing out the haste punch.

The stacked haste should come in very handy for that time at the end of fight when you want to crack out that extra dps but I worry about clipping. My haste is normally 382 and with this I can easily elevate another 456. I worry a little about the GCD which if I remember is around 600 to near the 1 sec and then you start getting dimishing returns. I'm doing tests at the moment. Anybody got information?

Anub is peculiar, a good part of the damage is magical, esp in P3, and you spent a decent chunk of the whole encounter stunned by an unavoidable attack, so avoidance isn't that good there. That said, at 60k you're a huge sponge healing him in P3. Try to go for armor trinkets and get a spare headpiece with the NR enchant and the -2% spelldamage metagem. If you go for Glyph of Indomitability, rememeber to pop it right *after* a Freezing Slash stun, or it'll be mostly wasted.

another thought, with the low hit rating on ICC gear and haste being the new stat...would using shard of the crystal heart and mark of supremacy be viable? i currently use darkmoon:greatness and not sure if the haste every 2 min is worth it.

Is there going to be a Spell crit % cap for Assassination ?

And is it Tears of Bitter Anguish going to be a good trinket for assassination ?
