So I went on the "Elite" target dummy and found some surprising results. I want to see if maybe others can verify. Each test was done with zero outside rogue buffs and 6mins each ( 2 full AR's)

Spec: 20-51-0 Ruptureless..the standard ArP Evis Dps: 4100-4500
Spec: 20-51-0 With Rupture Glyph but no Imp Rupture Dps: 4500-4700
Spec: 20-51-0 Rupture spec and Rupture Glyph Dps: 4800-5100

Right now I'm still gemmed from ArP Days. I guess my question is should we gem full AP or maybe Stark Gem ( 20AP, 10haste rating) ? If we are gonna go back to Rupture days, what about ArP gear? Do we just ignore it completely or settle for 400-600 ArP'ish?

I mainly use my assassin spec. My chest and helmet are the Conqueror's Terrorblade set w/ rupture energy bonus.

1. What are the next couple of armor sets I should be shooting for?

2. What other armor set can I mix with these two Terrorblade pieces?

3. Is it worth it to shoot for all four Terrorblade pieces for the full set bonus, or should I be shooting for a higher teir set?

Assuming you are an enchanter or have a enchanter friend/alt (for disenchanting), a way to calculate what titanium ore is worth (which was posted a few pages back) is:

5x Titanium = 0,25*(MT+SR+SS+FE+AG+TO)/6 + 0,28*(Am+CR+MZ+EoZ+KA+DS)/6 + 1,50*(SC+DJ+4*(1,125*ID + 0,11*GC + 0,01*DS) - EE/5))/6+0,66*TiP

Where, obviously:
- MT/SR/SS/etc. are rare gems
- Am/CR/MZ/etc. are epic gems
- SC/DJ are Shadow Crystals and Dark Jades
- ID/GC/DS are Infinite Dust/Greater Cosmic Essence/Dream Shard
- EE is Eternal Earth
- TiP is Titanium Powder

So basically, the formula just calculates what you earn by prospecting one 5-stack of titanium, assuming you use the uncommon-quality gems to craft greens you'll DE (you usually need an eternal earth to do so, hence the "-EE/5"). All you need to do, now, is replace the gems/DE mats by their actual values, and compare to what titanium is worth on the AH.

Of course, if you're confident you can sell them, you can cut the gems instead of selling them uncut; the reason this formula computes them uncut is because: a) uncut gems are easier to sell, because everyone needs them (as opposed to cut gems); b) the formula doesn't "know" what patterns you have and which cuts sell best.

Hi all,

I am switching from bear to cat and need some decent tool for estimating gear upgrade value.

I was using FeralByNight wowhead scales and RAWR. My questions are as follows:

Is FbN now outdated?
What settings for Target Level/Armor/Duration etc are good for ToC 25 / ICC 10&25 figts?
Any other tool for gear value that you can recommend?
Are there any updated Pawn scales available?

T8 is a waste at this point, since you can purchase T9.232 for 30 badges for shoulders/gloves and 50 badges for chest/legs/helm.

The character link on your profile is invalid, so can't comment on which pieces would be the largest upgrades.

At the risk of being shot down for posting in the wrong place, I've been using a 7/57/7 MM build since dinging to 80 (I'm a new player to WoW and this is my first character to hit the level cap). I'd quite like to get into more of the raiding content, but my DPS just isn't there at the moment. I was getting 2.2k last night in a 5 man. I feel like I need a bit of direction, but am confused by everything from what gear to pursue and what spec is really the best for me at the moment. Can anyone give me some advice or point me towards some simple guides to start me off or preferably both? Thanks.

I have a question. What about we start accepting ArP as a "possible" stat in our gear? Since most of our gear in icecrown has armor penetration on it?

I know the loss is huge compared to haste, or attack power, but unfortunately we gotta play with the cards we're dealt, and blizzard didn't give us much of a choice in choosing haste instead of armor pen.

Thoughts?

Oh thank goodness. I've been so worried that my DPS has become bunk since the patch hit. So recount is still not working right? It's been saying that I've only been doing around 3k and I did more than that pre-3.3. (Mind you, I'm following this thread to a T).

I was sooooooo worried. I went from being top DPS on the meters to the third.

312 hit is the soft cap for arcane....

also; I have not been looking at my combat log. Maybe I will have to start because it has been very frustrating.

About Titanium Ore for Prospecting:
I was considering it myself and I put together that type of calculation, though with slightly different groupings. It turned out for me that 309g was the expected income while a stack cost 299g. 10g profit may sound 'ok' but to me that was just too risky. On any Prospect without epic gems it was simply 200g down the drain. As such it is too risky for me to delve into, though with a calculation like that I know what price level is suitable for me to start buying for Prospecting.
