There are lots of hit caps for arcane, depending on how many points you spend in Precision and Arcane Focus. 312 is definately not the soft cap though, in fact it puts you over the required 17% in your current spec without any raid utilities.

Is it still worth gemming arp after hitting the softcap, because 2/3 of the time the trinket isn't up and you would stil benefit?
Or is another stat better? if so, is str the way to go?

In 3.3, i was wondering tht weapon swapping would get a major boost, because if you have 5DP stacks up and switch for IP/IP it should proc a lot more from your MH and OH right? but i do more dps without swapping weapons for IP.

So to get instant poison to proc more would you have to have 5 DP stacks with the deadly poison still in your offhand.(Is this statement true?)

Is anyone having trouble with schorchio 2.0 not tracking missile barrage procs?
Its a bit harder to see the proc now.
Any addon recommended to track mage spells, or how to fix this?

It's actually a strong point. The effect procs every time a spell casuses damage (ie: a tick from corruption), so it's actually very easy to reach and maintain 10 stacks.

The character link on your profile is invalid, so can't comment on which pieces would be the largest upgrades.

The whole reason for keeping the terrorblade armor set is because of the 5 energy it gives me per second when my Deadly Poison deals damage at 5 stacks. It's a lot of energy regen. Research shows that most people say to skip the T9.232 sets, because the set bonuses are worthless and never proc. That's why I'm asking which armor sets to combine.

I haven`t run a sim for it , I`ve however spent ~ 2-3 hrs on the dummy checking the 17/0/54 ( 5 Necrosis ) and I have also moved 3 points from Necrosis into Morbidity ...tbh , my feeling is the latter comes on top .
I am also asking if anyone has bothered to raid tested , I don`t know why ( maybe my gear is still low ) , but the average hit of DC is ~ 6.3 ( with 5 Necrosis ) , thats about 1k more than my highest SS hit ( since now obviously SS hits > SS crits ).

Could it be that a higher number of melee strikes triggering Necrosis would tip the balance and prove to be better than spending 3 points in Morbidity for maximizing DC dmg. ?

Has anyone done any decent calculations on the Ashen Verdict revered/exalted reputation ring proc(2400 armor on hit, 45sec ICD) againts rings with passive armor?

One thing that I'd really like to know too is how blizz thought that we were too overpowered??? I mean with our new buff in the patch, I was finally able to keep up with our mage in our guild who is geared about the same as me. This was while I was utilizing all haste buffs in the beginning of the fight and taking advantage of our new glyph. Now with the nerf they just gave us, I no longer have hope anymore of keeping up with the mage. We were not overpowered cause we were not able to substantially top any of the other dps in the raid. I guess their concern was the hype of how much we jumped up? But then aff has been underpowered for so long, we were overdue!!! Very frustrating and blizz took it from one extreme to the other. Now with having to take the time to cast corr instead of having haunt refresh it, I'm dreading to see what our numbers are gonna look like tomorrow at raid time. Blizz was so fast to nerf us when they thought we were "overpowered", I seriously hope that they take this "glitch" that they just made and fix it just as fast. After all, what is the point in having haunt refresh corruption if 1/4 of the time you can't even do it???
