I was testing BM on lvl 80 training dummy and with berserk/bm i noticed dps increase, than with berserk/berserk.
I did about 20 3minutes fights for each combination.
I had about 400 basic haste and 200 haste totem proc and about 4500 AP unbuffed.

So i am now using berserk/BM and im satisfied with dmg.

While landsoul's spread sheet is a great tool to use to see what dps you should be doing or creating a "wish list" of gear. You should be able to make intelligent gearing choices on your own. We dont know what the rest of the gear in ICC is going to look like so it is going to be near impossible to make a "BiS" list until all of the wings are open and have been cleared.

I think some people have already forgotten this thread was locked after the last patch because people kept asking when the update would be out. Either learn to make gearing choices on your own with out the sheet or patiently (and quietly) wait for it to be finished. It will be done when it is done.

Hello fellow unholy death knights. Just started playing as unholy and i really love it. Currently using the single target no reaping build in topic and i was wondering. Wouldn't GoD be an dps increase instead of godd (dc one) seeing it frees up another scourgestrike while only losing a bloodrune?

I wanted to know if there is an amount of haste that is too much? I was reading on the wowhead forums and saw someone that said ~800 haste is about as much as you need before you dont really get any bebefit from more. Is this anywhere in the ballpark or was this guy incorrect?

I know Im not quite 80 yet but im trying to be proactive and learn as much as possible so when i do get there, I will be an educated raider.

As many people have stated, if you bother to look through the thread:
There is a very soft cap with eradication/bloodlust

However the new Glyph of Quick Decay is making things interesting with haste.

Howdy folks!

Long time reader, fist time poster.


I have been reading and browsing through many of these posts and the standard "Read me First" threads, but simply cannot get the simple and effective answer I am looking for.


I have been toying with Gemming / Gearing towards the pure white Hit Cap. I am sitting at 692 rating and run with a Dranei in my groups.

I run in a strictly 10-man raid group.


I am trying to figure out and am looking for any answers as to whether it is better to stay at the white hit cap or just gem for AP / Haste.


Our usual buffs consist of just Kings / Might + Dranei for the melee. Not a whole lot. Standard Hit buffs for spells are there (Misery).

I sit at around 6.5k+ DPS on Saurfang (not sure if that even matters). Standard 51/18/2 Mut Spec.


I have tried searching for the answer, but haven't had any luck finding it. Any help would be appreciated. Would rather find out the easier way than keep spending oodles of Gold trying to stay at the cap.

Okay, I am a fury warrior at heart. I miss the good old days when i could take some rogue gear and buy some stealth potions and convince people i'm a rogue... Basicaly.. i want 1H fury. I have been working on builds for 1H fury. But i am not sure how exactly i should be going about this for max dps. I was thinking specing in the fury tree for speed and AP, and specing in arms for Bleed all the way down to Trama, and Axe's for th 5% crit. Here is the spec i'm thinking about. Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft Another idea i have, is switching out Rampage for MS. If i had MS then my rotation would be alot smoother and rely less on HS and CD's. The only flaw that has been pointed out to me is that Deep Wounds is based off of your weapons dmg range, and the 1H vs 2H has 1/3 dmg range.

Please help me as much as you can in making a 1H fury build viable.

does any1 here think it will be effective to go 2pt10dps, 2pt10tank with the D&D glyph?? you will be maintaining the most important stat while switching to the tank gear(str), and even single target D&D wiill do great damage, raid buffed, at about 1500 per hit and 3k per crit...

There was some discussion about this early in WOTLK (you can find it very early in this thread). In short, it's not viable. You cannot make it viable.

I recently switched to mutilate from combat, and I am trying to get my list of gear I want to get for when the rest of ICC comes out. I am trying to decide if armor pen is/will be a viable stat for mutilate. I know that some of our tier pieces have armor pen, but I am wondering if taking 2pc T10 (because the proc is absolutely amazing) and then getting high crit and haste pieces would be the best way to go. I heard talk of the 4pc bonus being pretty good, but I am wondering if higher amounts of crit and haste would out preform the 13% chance to gain 3 combo points after using a finisher. I have been combat for about 5 to 6 months now and I am not sure if armor pen is the way to go. Obviously I can't completely get rid of it right now because I have a mjolnir's runestone and a greatness deck.This is not a hand holding question, I am merely looking for some input.
