Hi, im reading often your post and decide to join the forum.
I have 2 question, i'm a Orc Rogue so i have a extra 5 point from axe and fist
i'm combat and i whant to know first when i choose axe of fist weapon do the 5 point are integrate or i should just modify the sheet by myself.
Second question in ICC 25 the weapon for combat are maind hand sword and of axe.
so i got a problem my expertise will be 21/26 (MH/OH) and i whant to know if i better go 26/31 over cap on off hand to be cap in main hand. (and not sure if the sheet considaring the expertise difference between both weapon to evalute dps, expertise value, better gear in this case)
I think the best might be 21/26 because your cap in off hand that have fast speed and proc energy and main hand dont miss special ability
Probably not a "simple question" but here it goes:
Just finished the hilt questline last night to obtain Quel'Delar and was wondering if it would be worth switching to combat over mutilate for the minor 8 dps increase to my MH. Because if I did indeed do the switch I would be running sword MH and dagger OH therefore splitting up my specialties. I was thinking maybe I could compensate slightly and still gain by taking points out of Weapon Expertise on the normal 20/51/0 build since I don't need that extra boost in expertise and just throw those 2 points into CQC therefore have 3 points in there and 5 in HaS... Not too sure though so any thoughts would be appreciated.
Might be the wrong thread but here it goes!
Anyone got any idea what to do with the deathbringer trinket now in early gear? I just got it and a dv as secondary trinket but unsure what to do with it, what to gem, try to go for hardcap or stay at 800 arp?.. etc. Anyone got any good idea what to do?
Any chance you will be doing an Unholy tank guide? The current ones I found here at the site leave a bit to be desired> They even use out dated talent trees and glyphs. Plus you seem to cover more details in things like the stats.
Hello guys, first and foremost just wanted to say that I am a big fan of this forum in general and have been reading the rogue forums for quite a long time. I have a small predicament I hope one of you could give me some advice in.
I've just came back to the game after leaving a few months ago, came back primarily for 3.3. At the time I left my rogue had 2pc T8 and some other random gear around the same ilevel with full enchants. Back then it was common knowledge that 4pc T8 was much superior to T9. So my question is, does the same still apply now with the current changes to poison and no longer needing to have rupture in the cycle?
Frankly, I ask this because my guild is not active and my GS at the moment is 4550, so it's been hard for me to join raid pugs and the such. Would farming badges for 4pc T9 be of at least equal or greater DPS compared to T8 in the ruptureless vanilla mut build at the moment?
My goal is to be able to gear up sufficiently to join ToC/TotGC pugs, to be able to move on to ICC.
Like many other people, I’m concerned with the upgrade path for T10.
Ideally I’d like to purchase just two of the five items T10 items and never have to purchase other T10 gear, unless the 4 pc bonus is worth the slots.
The 2pc bonus, on T10, is a must have while the 4 pc bonus I’m not sure it’s worth it.
As it has been previously stated that unless you are able to purchase the 25s T10 gear it may be best to spend badges on other items first.
The fastest way, to get the T10 w pc bonus, discounting the new VoA boss (once released), would be to purchase gloves and shoulders, but…
Realistically it would be best to purchase the two pieces of T10 that is less likely to be replaced by other gear quickly especially early on when badges are a concern. Ideally it would be best if the two T10 pieces were never replaced, just upgraded, so additional badges wouldn’t have to be spent.
Is the 4 pc bonus worth the 4 slots especially in the latter parts of ICC?
If not is it best to go with the quickest upgrade path, gloves and shoulders, for the two piece bonus?
Realistically is it possible that two of the T10 pieces could be used throughout ICC if they are upgraded to their 264, and 277 ilevel versions?
Or will it be needed to purchase other T10 pieces so that the two piece T10 bonus?
Finally has a list of BiS items in the T10 content been compiled?
I was wondering if there are any good frost builds out there for level 80 mages? I have seareched the web but can't find any decent builds. I am going to dual spec my mage with frost as her seconday. Arcane is her primary at this time. I have found recently that with all the cross server groups that several tanks are pulling a lot more than 1 or 2 so i want to go frost for my aoe abilities like blizzard and cone of cold.
