Should there be a specific rotation for tanking, and if so what is it? If there isn't, what are the priorities considering threat, cooldown and possibly mana cost? When HoW/divine plea/AW come up where would it fit best?
My Hotkeys are all bound around my movement keys(WASD) so they are:
1,2,3,4,5,E,Q,F,G,Z,sh+1,sh+2,sh+3,sh+4,alt+1-5
Mouse is for movement clicking is bad!
1 is DC
2 is IT
3 is PS
4 is HS
5 is DS
E is Obliterate
Q is BB
F is Pesilence
G is Death grip
Z is mind freeze
The rest are bound to macros and support skills/cooldowns. However I'm considering getting a nostromo n52 so my scheme may change pretty drastically soon.
"irst, carry two of the slowest, hardest hitting weapons you can find in your bags. Since Fan of Knives hits for the weapon damage of each hand, this maximizes damage output over hitting it with your faster daggers. Next, build a handy weapon switch macro for FoK that will swap in both heavy weapons, pop Cold Blood, and then FoK. The results can be quite stunning with a large group of mobs piled around you. Remember to macroswap back to your usual weapons."
Hadn't thought of this! NICE! I can make that work for Combat as my Mod will handle up to 3 sets. I think I got one of those big slow ass Mace thingies around here somewhere......that should leave a mark...
This isn't as much a warlock question as it is a question to the moderators. Simple anyway.
Could we open topics for each of the specs? One huge thread with 5000 posts makes it hard to find relevant information about your spec, now that all specs are pretty much viable, at least early on.
It is worth noting that if Maul hits 2 targets due to the glyph, the bonus-threat is shared between the 2 targets. Threat due to damage is still fully applied to the target that takes the damage.
Echophantom, just wait to the "Hey what is the correct hit rating guys?!?!!" Or my personal favorite "You need 300+ hit rating for BT!!!!"
We spent a year trying to teach rogues hit rating was crucial and, now that it is not the best stat by far, we have to teach those same people about the value of other stats now, namely how much more agil and crit are worth. Prey on the Weak for the win.
Hmm.
I'm torn between 7/5/59 unholy tak spec or 7/11/53 unholy spec
Would lichborn be that good to give up 6 talents for it+ Or should I put 5 talents into desecration, seeing it's a 5% dmg boost+ 1 random or get unholy aura+ ravenous dead seeing the latter is a 3% boost to strenght wich boost your parry
