As a Bear tank, all of your leather will have an Agi focus, as will your weapon. Your neck, cloak, and rings, however, will be the same tanking stuff that the other tanking classes use, so its primary "dps stat" is going to be Str. But you're really focusing on the wrong part of the gear. Look past the Str on the tanking stuff and see the huge helpings of Stam and all the dodge/def that helps greatly while tanking. With the exception of Stam, those are not our ideal stats, but they are still good tanking stats, and overall those pieces with Str will have much more value to a bear than a DPS piece that has less stam and only Agi as a tanking stat. The only thing to look out for when rolling on a tanking piece is to make sure it doesn't have any of the stats that we simply cannot use, such as parry or block. Those pieces are best left to the other tanking classes who get full use out of them.

Just look at the armory of any decent bear tank. You will see Agi leather (because there is no "tanking leather") and Str on necks, cloaks, and rings.

Ok guys, i have lots of questions, so i hope you can help me.
First of all, i'm a fairly new player, i''ve been playing WoW for something like 2 months.
Here we go:

1- I've been reading this thread for a while now, even so, i wasn't able to determine the best rotation for us (blood) yet, of course i'm talking about 3.3.

2- What's better - T10 2P or T9 4P?

3- Considering that we benefit a lot from ArPen, it would be better to take first the parts that actually give ArPen, like the shoulder for instance?

4- I know that right now unholy is the 'best' spec, at least the one sustaining more damage. But how much behind an unholy user should i stay? 10%?

I'm sorry to bother you guys

My warrior is sword specced arms, a troll, and has hyperspeed accelerators. Am I going overboard with the haste, or is this viable for PvE raiding?

Hi All, hopefully just a quick question for you all, (first time poster

I seem to have actually lost about 700-1k dps since the new patch

and was wondering if it is something that i'm doing wrong, and where better to ask than here!

I am spec'd 00/17/54
sp = 2704 (with fel armour)
hit = 445
spirit = 674
haste = 399
crit = 22.04% (with fire stone)

Glyphs = Conflagrate, Incinerate and Life tap

My rotation is, LT, Immo, Corr, Confl, CB, Inc, Inc, Inc, Confl, Immo, Corr, CB then repeat.

Is it just me or am I doing something wrong? I'm hitting 3.8-4k in 10man and 4-4.5k in 25, but it used to be higher

If I have posted this in the wrong place, im sorry and please advise.

So I have come back to WoW after more than a year off. I have read up on lastest changes, rotations, speccs etc.
I have geared up, joined top rading guild for my Realm.
All of a sudden I am the "worst healer ever" ?? I easily heal through heroics. ToC seems easy also. However my guild feels that I am a poor performing healer. I need advice/help. I know, and have told them time and time again Disc Priests are not ever going to top meters. However they still think I am below par on healing, and I am getting benched in ICC25. Any help/Wisdom/Criticism/Rotations for ICC would be much appreciated.
Also as Disc Tank heals on Marrowgar, I find I am moving so much I cant get enough heals off to keep tanks good.

Has anyone theory tested the enchant Black Magic on OH after the recent poison changes in 3.3? Given that haste is now a viable and nice stat for both muti and combat rogues.

DP can be incredibly irritating on some fights. Leady Deathwhisper being one where my pet was out of Line of Sight all the time being behind her and me at the bottom of the stairs. (Similair situation sometimes on Saurfang too, especially when trying to stay x range from other players and in range for DP).

Some fights where you would use LT during movement phases are a lot harder than with DP. Moving from fires on Icehowl, Legion Flame debuff on Jaraxxus, any add kiting you may have to do on Saurfang you are usually running away from the boss, thus out of range of your pet.

And if you do have a phase like this and you DP twice fast just to top yourself up, your pet goes oom.

Not that you cant lifetap of course, but it's less "bang for your buck".

What macros are useful as enhance. I understand that macro's are typically unique to each person, however, there are a couple in general that umbrella all the other ones. Could you link me to these macro's or post them here? Thanks

So going over my shopping list of ICC gear that I will be able to get I have noticed every piece has no spirit on it even on the non T10 pieces like the crafted boots and leggings; weapons and offhands ect.

My question is will Life tap glyph still be worth it even at less than 300 spirit ~120 spell power

Cant think of any glyph that would replace it just wondering what everyone is thinking about the lack of spriit

Just was wondering as a MM hunter, what order we are looking in terms of badge gear.

*Go for 4 piece as soon as possible, holding onto 2 piece T9 for as long as I can?

*Get 2 piece and start getting offset items, I.E. chest, trinket.

Or some other idea that I have not put down. This is not taking into consideration my current gear.

Is there an updated 3.3 version? Seems there is a lack of accurate item comparison tools with the new patch. I used to enjoy RAWR but it has been fubar for 2+ months. Been using a mix of SimCraft, lootrank, maxdps. All of which have there advantages and drawbacks. Anyone out there have any other suggestions?

Becareful when looking at the RAWR gear rankings. It ranks/list gear by total points, which includes threat value. Some of the "top" tanking pieces are only that high on the list because of the huge amounts of threat value, while the survival and mitigation values are actually lower than many of the tanking pieces listed below it on the list. Lastly, RAWR highly values agility, so many DPS tend to have agility on them, so the get ranked high as well.

I did some tests with the spreadsheet.
T9 2-piece bonus is very good, it doesn't worth to break it.
I would go for 2 T10 + 2 T9, and replace the remaining 2 T9s with T10.25. (the lowest T10 doesn't worth the missing T9-bonus.)
And at I discovered the BiS (without HC drops) set would be 4 T10.25 with the craftable leggings. (Or with the dropped leggings, they are almost the same.)
