As if rogue isn't a faceroll enough class already just refreshing SND and 5pt ev's. Other classes actually have to analyze their rotations. More rupture type spells please thanks.

The T9 4p is not worth it, there are items at the toc level, namely the badge shoulders and the gloves from 10 man toc that are better than the set pieces.

all of the dps models that have been calculated have been using 4p t10, but it is still to early to tell because it is not physically possible to acqure 4p at the moment so the proc can't be fully analyzed and there is a debate whether there is an icd on the proc or not which would change the worth of the set bonus.

I think you missed the spirit of his question. I believe he is referring to if the boss is around, let's say 36-38% and MC procs. Saving the proc for Soul Fire since Decimation is about to roll over.

I received a PM from Fenz, and he was simply asking about dropping Incinerate from the rotation. He has a limited number of key binds available.

Hey,
I tested at a dummy with affliction spec:
SB cast - Corr - and then only SB till my mana went off...
The first SB resets Corr before it ticks the first time. The rest is resetting shortly after Corr had the first tick, BUT
with Eradiction, Corr didnt tick before it had been reseted.
My recount counted 32 SB's and 32 Corr-ticks, the last 6 I substract so there are 32 SB's and 26 Corr-ticks.
I bet its a dpslost but what to do now? Spamming SB or let Corr tick and dont spam SB?

I got [Nevermelting Ice Crystal] the other day, and it's got a lot of spellpower on it, so I though I'd equip it. (Plus I finally got my nifty gear achievement for it.) However, when I went to Rawr, it said that [Embrace of the Spider] is better.

My guess is that Rawr thinks so because the Embrace doesn't have to be used (procs automatically) and haste is better than crit (for FB/TTW spec).

Any insight as to which is actually better for me? I'm just a little nervous about using an item that is over 30 ilvls lower just because "Rawr said so". I know neither is the optimal trinket, but they're the best two I have for this spec.

I recommend gloves in general, but do you prefer to gear and gem for combat or mutilate?

The most immediate upgrade is to replace your shoulders since you're expertise soft-capped, but you can also get shoulders off of Lady Deathwhisper (25). It's up to you on whether or not you think you'll have them soon.

Edit: My bad for not noticing that you already said combat.

I see alot of ferals gemming AGI/Haste after getting crit capped... I'm pretty sure I'm past the crit cap a ways, and I'm curious if STR/haste or STR or anything else would be better? or going over arP cap? currently stats are around:
235hit
24 exp (gemmed and enchanted to get there)
716arP w/o food
1700 Agi
345 Haste
750 crit rating.

So I guess my question is.... what should I gem for?

And any other critiques for Saurfang fight last night:
(had mangle bot until he died, had to pick it up and lost about 10-15 seconds of bleed uptime)

Ignore the 13 spellpower differernce, just look at the procs. The Crit proc looks great at first, but the 3 minute CD, makes it pretty terribly itemized for Arcane. The Embraces' haste proc is just that much more valuable than the extra "combustion" that the Ice Crystal gives you.

Probably returning to Surv. as a PvP spec.

-My resilience is 915 without the two pieces chanted.
-Stats w/o the chants: ap is 4088, agility is 1225, crit is 36.59%, stamina is 1831. (my PvE crit is approx. 49%, another reason I’m not sure what to do).
-I’ve gemmed for the spell pen. soft cap of 75.
-I have the Frosthide chant on my 251 legs.
-I have one crit gem, in 226 boots, which also gives me a res. bonus.

1) Should I go for the res. chant on the chest or +10 to stats?

2) Additionally, should I go with an agility gem in the red socket and in the yellow an agility/crit hybrid for the resilience bonus and crit, or should I ignore the socket bonus/crit and put in two agility gems?

3) For the helm should I put the PvE or PvP chant on? Again, not sure about res. and. crit.

4) What, if any, important does hit have? My hit is 70; I was told hit doesn’t matter in PvP and I read mixed info on it; 5% seems to be the most consistent answer.

Or….should I not even bother with the new season coming out? I’m not sure what the new vendor gear level will be and I don’t know how quickly I’ll be able to get arena points/gear. All of my core pieces are 232 or 251. I have a 245 neck. All of my other accessories are 226, except for my trinkets which are 213.

So first off I wont gem and enchant your gear for you. Unless you want to give me your account to play, you need to make your own decisions on gems and enchants.

As for "doing your homework" on hunters...you ask how important hit is? How important is hit in any aspect of dps in this game? Really? Could you not get a straight answer anywhere online? Since you couldn't I figured I'd show you how easy it was.
