as a tree i always keep regrowth and rejuv on the tanks at all times, i spam wild growth on whoever is taking more raid damage.(melee-spam on tanks/ranged-spam on myself) need glyph of wild growth so it affect 6 targets not 5. i generally nourish eveyrone that needs big heals. i also try n keep rejuv on a few ppl expecially myself with the 264 idol.
the 245 idol is nearly as good so if u have that i wouldnt waste frost on the 264 for awhile.

Most dps classes & specs, including survival, have moved from a simple macro'able solution to a priority system. Your best bet is to look into something like FaceShooter : WoWInterface Downloads : Hunter, or Faceroller : WoWInterface Downloads : Beta-version AddOns or, EventHorizon : WoWInterface Downloads : Casting Bars and Cooldowns

I had a quick question for everyone with a small amount of back story. Here's my armory to get things started: The World of Warcraft Armory

I do not plan on raiding ICC with this toon due to time constraints. I soon plan to start working on Loremaster so the majority of my time will be spent grinding heroics, working on old content and Ony/ToC pugs to finish up my pre-ICC gear wish list.

My question is this, is it still viable to work towards the ArP soft cap using either of the more popular ArP trinkets? I don't have anything against the current 20/51/0 build but I like the continuous "flow" of combat with the extra energy from relentless strikes and I'm not sure how much I'll be shooting myself in the foot by working on my ArP and spec'ing more in that direction as opposed to gemming straight AP/Haste and following the 20/51/0 build. If I do go for the ArP build would it be better to go 18/51/2 for some additional poison dmg or is 15/51/5 still used for ArP builds?

Maybe I'm mistaken but if I'm spending most of my time in older content wouldn't the immediate effect of high ArP be more beneficial then stronger poisons that take time to stack/tick? I'm aware that the poison build would be more beneficial in VoA/ToC where boss fights last more then a couple minutes but being that my focus is more "off track" with this toon I'm not concerned with losing SOME dps, I never want to gimp my raid but I won't be pushing progression content so I don't think it's as much of a huge issue. I'll still be pushing 5-6k dps on most all boss encounters and I'm trying to balance raw dps with actually having fun and doing what I enjoy.

Above all else I look at this toon as a chance to have a little fun as opposed to min-maxing 100% of what I do and wanted a little direction/advice before I invest to much gold/time working on gear I might not need.

As of 3.3 patch tanign palidians

As of 3.3 i have discovered that using the rar program has been a huge help for my pally tank.In ICC health is good dont get me wrong but i have found more use from geming for midigation than i have survial for ICC.I honestly think we have to get away from our traditional thinkign of geming for stam now and lean more tward midigation.I know we are up to the last boss in ICC 10 and my healers are already wanting the other tanks to look at my gem set up due to the damage i midigate now.If you use the rar program and gem for the midigation i think your healers will be more than happy with you becasue it makes there job much eaiser and they are able to cover other raid members with out having to painic to watch the tank.I would love to heare some other input on this matter from other tanks and hope that what small amount of information ive given will help up coming tanks and give them something to look at.

Crossposting this from the Frost DPS thread because it's relevant here as well.

If you use IT and PS for your charge of Cinderglacier, you get +20% disease damage for the entire duration of the disease.

You can use Glyph of Disease to constantly refresh the diseases with the +20% damage modifier.

By starting a fight with a Cinderglacier weapon and then swapping to your normal weapon, it is likely you could gain a significant amount of DPS on any fight where you are sure you can roll diseases for a long time.

Replace trinket suggestion plz.

Someone pointed out to me recently that i had made by (with my [Abyssal Rune]) buying [The Egg of Mortal Essence]. I somehow misread that the proc would proc off Fel Armour.

I know i should be able to read this information by digging deeper into this thread but since i haven“t
had the time yet (recently restarted my lock) to dwell more into theoricraft and simulationcraft i was wondering
if anyone would do me the favour of posting some kind of list of what are the best trinkets for a hit capped destro lock i could get for emblems or running 5-10 man instances to replace the egg.

I hope someone has this info handy, im not asking for a huge list, just something i can work with.

Thanks in advance.

DW tanking just leads to too many parries which means u taking more damage, and also 1 handed weapons are always going to have less stamina than 2 handed ones - still not even close to viable

These are good trinkets and I think available for almost everybody (without HC kills):

Illustration of the Dragon Soul dps is 318
Reign of the Dead (245) dps is 437.6
Muradin's Spyglass (251) dps is 393.6
DFO (264) dps is 537.8

But how much the dps of Nevermelting ice?
I don't know better than Illustration of the Dragon Soul or not?

The BiS list in the main post is missing [Shriveled Heart], which is sitting at 214 HEP.

The problem with Nevermelting Ice is for a destruction warlock, due to high crit rates, the proc is only up about 7% of the time. Abyssal Rune is a better trinket for Destro, while Nevermelting is godly for Affliction. I'd have to assume that it would be poor for Demo as well due to the high crit.

IoDS is still super and one of the best you can get.

Battered Hilt an Upgrade?

Hello all! First time poster. First off, fairly new but having a great time with WoW, and enjoying my Arms Warrior. Initially chose warrior based on a sense of classical appeal, being in my mind a class most like a traditional knight. I'd like anyone to take a look at the toon Werd on the windrunner realm and pick apart the build and so forth. I was, up until the battered hilt, using the Tyrranical Beheader with the same gear currently equipped utilizing the 54/17/0 build with the same glyphs. Standard rotation is charge/rend/MS/OP/BladeStorm with SS/ and-or Execute if proc'd/TC if the tank can hold the aggro against it/ and so forth. I use Battle Shout and Demoralizing Shout against larger groups or stronger single enitities. I don't use slam or HS, although with my MS CD I may incorporate it to burn the CD and still get a hit. With that rotation, build, glyph and the Beheader, I was lucky to pull off 3k dps per recount. I talked to a fellow arms warrior after a PUG raid who was dual spec'd and was the tank, but who showed me their gear and looked them up on armory, said their rotation was much the same and was using the 54/17 build and their dps armor was a level beneath mine. They were pulling 4-5k dps per recount which I witnessed in the next dungeon we did where I switched to tank and he switched to dps. So where did I go wrong if I am nearly identical in most ways and slightly superior gear wise to have such a different damage level? Now, of course like so many others, I acquired a battered hilt in PoS. Finished the quest line and received my shiny new sword yesterday morning. I noticed an increase in dps per the base stats and strength but I've lost ArP which was on the Beheader, and when I respec'd my talent tree to the current build which I kind of picked and choosed what I wanted to try it out, I noticed I lost 5% crit due to the poleax giving the extra crit. The sword spec does not give that so by using this apparently uber-cool sword I've dropped 5% crit and lost more ArP which i'm already struggling to maintain and increase. My concern is that losing the extra crit and ArP along with the clearly slower axe being the better weapon for an Arms warrior, is the battered hilt really an upgrade for us? I've tried farming for the ArP trinkets but the only time one came up, something Banner, I lost it on a need roll but it is my goal to get the better trinkets.
