Both of our data sets are very small. I plan to watch the stats on this closely over a number of fights in the coming weeks before concluding.

One small note: there are some (unconfirmed) reports that secondary effects (like improved shadowbolt) count as harmful spell applications and get a chance to proc. Affliction shadowbolt may have an effective proc chance of 4% for this reason. Although my sample size is small this could explain the somewhat larger than expected overall dmg contributions that I saw last night. Its another thing I'll be watching (and testing extensively on a dummy if I ever get the time)

To clarify or expand on what he was saying...
When you use the [nochanneling] option this slows down your casting by 2x your latency - The macro will prevent your cast from starting until 1) cast finishes client side 2) message to server saying cast finished 3) message from server back to client saying it is ok to cast now.
Thus, it is only worthwhile to use [no channeling] if you cut more time out of the first AB than you added by waiting for message from client to server and back.

So for all of the values above I would theoretically always gain DPS if my latency is 50ms, and always lose DPS if it is 100 ms, by using a nochanneling macro.

IMO it's really a wash and you're best off just playing how you are used to. If you sometimes accidentally clip your 5th missile and your latency is decent you should use nochanneling.
