The choice for runeforges has not changed with the inception of the nerubian carapace. The sum of avoidance and stamina are the same compared to the 2h versions. With that in mind, 2x Nerubian Carapace will net you 2% stamina and ~3% avoidance (1% miss/parry/dodge from the defense), while 2x Swordbreaking nets ~4% avoidance through parry.
Like Starfox has pointed out the defense from nerubian carapace has other implications such as increased damage reduction while using IBF. After DWing several clears of ICC 10-25 I have reverted back to 2x nerubian carapace. The stam is always nice and the defense will certainly be put to use so that I can make the new crafted boots which have zero defense on them.
This is mostly just nitpicking but it's worth noting that the sub of avoidance and stamina are not actually quite the same. Nerubian Carapace provides 13 defense per hand, unlike the stoneskin's 25 sum defense, giving a net gain of 1 defense from dual wielding.
Presumably this is for offsetting the fact that dual wielding generally provides less stamina than a 2h weapon of equal ilv barring uneven socket count(IE a 1 socket 2h vs a pair of 1 socket 1hs).
The weapon damage and speed make it worse than ToC10 normal mode ranged weapons, let alone the stats.
the dps on the gun is 255.0, while the dps on toc 10 guns is 212.2 or below. So it's clear that the weapon dps is significantly higher. My questions pertains to the how much the stat of ranged weapon dps is weighted. According to the spreadsheet on femaledwarf, the weapon is rated very highly; but on Shandara's spreadsheet the gun is ranked differently. This is why I am wondering about the stat weight used for Shandara's.
No, I run out of mana by the end of the fight, after Evoc and Gems.
Should I really replace iLvl 245 shoulders for 232 T9 shoulders?
Stop using gear score and start looking at stats. You don't need crit and hit. You need haste.

Yeah I'm talking about ABSpam4MBAM. There is a discussion where people were mentioning using Arc Missiles, even if you don't have the proc to conserve mana. This might be a good idea for dotJSX, but not for a geared mage in T10.
And yes before someone flames me I did use the search feature and it turned up with nothing answering this.
So I don't understand with the importance of Int why Solace of the Defeated is so much better than trinkets like Pandora's plea. Can anyone help me with this.
Solace of the defeated has been found to be overall overbudget because of the way its proc works and overall gives you much more mp5 than an intellect trinket would considering replenishment, divine plea etc. It also gives you more sp so basically there's no competition.
I was wondering if it would be able to model Executioner and Black Magic Weapon Enchants. I have done numerous Simulations ingame, with Various Enchant Configurations and found that for combat Executioner Main hand and Black Magic Off hand average about 400-500 more dps than Dual Berserk or Berserk / Mongoose setups.
I've been trying to find out about recommended healing (Holy) priest stats for a while now and such information doesn't seem to exist. I know the order of what to gem in and such but what i really want to know is what are the stat numbers to aim for. can anyone help me?
Ok I am noob to this simcraft. I imported my toon from armory and ran simcraft. Well it says I put ok dps 9k but it doesnt look like that in game. What am I am doing wrong? And yes I know this is a general question but I wasnt sure where to start. Thanks in advance for any help
Just like to report a problem/oversight, I guess technically a bug -
The shot rotation doesn't automatically update and seems to be locked on and bugged by displaying/using Berserking over and over again, Probably most likely due to mismatch races selected.
Just have to manually adjust it to get it to work, but hopefully this will save others some time if they are noticing extremely inaccurate numbers for their DPS.
on an unrelated note, lol @ the post whining about sharebee. I hope you're not serious.
you're probably an IE user or something.
It's unbelievable how they went from "Warriors are fine, figure out strats to kill them!" to "Yes, Protection is overpowered, we're nerfing them!" in one week...
Warbringer I could probably deal with, I'll just use Intervene more again, but the nerf to Shield Slam is seriously pissing me off. The way they're putting it, they'll go back to lowering its damage and increasing its bonus threat component. I thought they'd learned their lesson that tanking DPS matters, as well. Guess I was wrong.
