I have used Guildox.com to look at rankings in the past but I don't put a ton of merit in any sites rankings.

Hi im a new user to this site (been reading it tho for a year) but im stuck with a question here and i had some difficult to find out the correct awsner so here goes btw i apologize if this has alrdy been awsnerd and i missed it if so please just copy it or something.

But the question is:
How much dps difference is it between Bryntroll (normal) and Shadow's Edge? reason i ask if its worth getting the replacement or if its just a minor upgrade afther the hotfix nerf to Bryntroll.

and again if its allrdy been awsnserd please just copy it or tell me where it is

How good is to have the OH expertise cap? Should you gem for it?

Right now I'm just at 35 expertise with my gear (40 with food buff) and it's come to replacing my next piece which i would like to be my helm. Is losing that much expertise worth the upgrade or should I upgrade something like my shoulders/idol next.

I have an idea with with MM spec, right now it has a SS gylph but chimera is always used as soon as it is up so it only does 30% or 40%(? sorry I'm at work and cant see it on this computer at the moment so excuse if I make any wrong references) so if you have it for a extra 6 seconds it does nothing. But I have heard that it increases the damage it does so I'm not sure. someone please look at this because it might mean a different gylph will best help this spec, probable kill shot.

Also does someone mind posting the best MM spec and item on femaledwarf my computer wont let me download spreadsheet, it keeps saying the file contains viruses. Thank you.

Madlax,

You write about switching from SB to Incinerate for molten core. When I look at your spec, you do not have points in molten core. Am I just seeing your spec at an "off" moment or do you leave fire out of the affliction rotation?

I apologize if this information is stated clearly elsewhere, but I cannot seem to find what CSD, AF, IV, GCD, BL, or EP stand for. I am also confused as to what ice shards are. Please help me so that I may understand how to improve my DPS which currently is stuck at 3500

Hi, I am new to EJ and I was wondering if there is an actual spreadsheet of mitigation values that are ideal for ICC. I have seen the large difference in ToC gear and ICC gear while tanking ICC on 10 and 25 mode ( i.e. block value> block rating). Any help?

Should I be gemming ArP or AP for Combat? My Estimated DPS is higher with pure AP gems (9 DPS higher versus pure ArP in all red sockets). If I gemmed this way I would hit the softArP cap and could use the Needle Encrusted Scorpion. My rogue friends that are combat are all gemming AP / Ap/Haste.
I was originally gemming pure AP because I use most of the gear for mutilate and didn't want to have an entire set of gear that was poorly gemmed for my single target DPS spec. However, with the changes to Mutilate coming, and the fact that axes look oh so much cooler, I am planning on staying combat. Any help would be appreciated.

Where are you getting 2600DPS? Is this in 5-mans, 10-mans, 25-mans, or are you seeing this on the heroic test dummies? Are you (or another lock) casting Curse of the Elements (or is Ebon Plaguebringer (DK) or Earth and Moon (Moonkin) being used)? Are you using a Spellstone or a Firestone? What does your rotation consist of?

The best advice anyone can give is to download and use Aldriana's spreadsheets. There are gear combinations where ArPen wins out. There are gear combinations where AP wins out. When you get into ilvl264+ gear in multiple slots, you may even encounter situations where you're gemming Hit -- sometimes severely.

The best thing you can do is use a spreadsheet and follow the recommendations there. Luckily, Aldriana's version have gem suggestions -- and 99.9999% of the time, they are spot on. Just do yourself a favor and follow its lead.

I have a favorite saying in re: to min/maxing my rogue: "Spreadsheet don't lie."

A few weeks back I specced with Heroic Fury and oh my god it is very useful. I will give you a few examples:

Charging in on the worms after they knock you back on Northrend Beasts
Charging opponents at Faction Champions
Charging Boned targets at Lord Marrowgar
Charging Lord Marrowgar after Bonestorm
Charging adds at Lady Deathwhisper
Charging back in at Rotface after the Big Ooze blows up

There are probably more examples, these are the ones I noticed myself and that I can remember off the top of my head.

Yep, I've been using it since Ulduar and will not trade it for anything.
