I tend to agree with your there. I mean PTR is that not what its for ???to test before patching the live or production servers. All in all Failed patched.

I've tried out a mage spec for raiding and it has about the same dps as the 53/18 and It is 43/28. Instead of casting scorch I don't have to cast anything becuase of winters chill. Not sure how much different it is but I'm not losing any dps from this spec. At least its almost no different.

Saying something is the same does not make it so. Making a claim with no theoritical/mathmatical evidence, and no practical evidence helps no one.

If you want to claim that 43/28 is equivalent DPS to the standard 53/18 specs, you might want to back up that claim.

I know. Im not at home to get the numbers for all that but I've tried it and will try to prove that its just about that same.

I'm loving the new patch. I took Shadowfury, Shadowburn, and Soul link instead of doing the ISL stuff so i can do both PVE and PVP with the same spec. Tried out PvP in BGs and dominated. The deep destro burst dmg with the added shadowfury and shadowburn rocks! soul link keeps survivability up too.

I'm also happy they made the demonic circle able to tell you if you're in range. It really helps a lot.

I'de have to say that i find Face Melter to be an addon that i find very usefull for shadow. You can customize your debuff order so it's much more visable as to what you should do next. There is a problem with SW:P and when it gets refreshed the timer on face melter dosn't so it can get stuck on SW:P. A simple solution is to move it to the number 6 slot and just do your first rotation as you normaly would. and you'll wont have to deal with it being stuck on the SW:P icon.

That's a link to Naxxramas last night as 0/32/39. MH was Angry Dread at the time. Still managed to put out some great numbers on Patchwerk (Was my highest to be put out {5200} since I was tanking last week). This is in response to my original post for people that was curious for the parse.

I have read a lot here about Sv Macros, and i have testet a lot.

Here are my Macros which i´m using. Glyphs: Sting, Steady, Hawk .. Spec see my Charlink. (SV) with Cat. €:: Respec Today! It is not online yet.

Rota: Set Sting, then set "DMG-Macro" then set "Spam-Macro". There is time to set the Sting into the Spam-Macro while you are spaming and there is no time malus (With my Gear Setup) Please tell me if there is any Malus with higher Haste.

Evening gents. After everyone fled BM like a sinking ship with the patch, I decided to stick with it and prove them wrong. Unfortunately, I tend to lag quite a bit in the 25-man content I usually run, so I was attracted to the laziest solution possible. Thus I devised the following series of 3 macros that will perform the most optimal "lazy bot" DPS available to BM Spec. Using this macro chain I achieved 2nd DPS on 25-man Arch and 1st DPS on 10-man Arch (AKA, the Target Dummy That Moves), with poor gear, glyphs, and enhancements.

NOTE: This macro chain will not provide the maximum BM DPS possible. However, it will provide close to that while simplifying your entire DPS rotation into a single keystroke that you do not have to monitor. Its purpose is for those players who lag too much to manually time their rotations, or who have a hard time focusing on the raid fight due to maintaining their rotation.

This macro is set up across three buttons next to each other. They are currently my MultiBarRight buttons, but you can reconfigure the /click commands to any that you like.

It is split into 2 "buff" parts that will activate your self-buffs on every cooldown, followed by a 3rd "action macro. You lose some DPS due to not syncing the proper cooldowns together or saving others for Bloodlust, but you also gain some by having the maximum possible uptime on them.

okay i want to spec 51/20/0 (or 53/18 for that matter) for scorch to buff the other mage in the group who is 57/3/11, can someone give me an example of the best layout for this spec, ive been trying out a few things, but would like a more professional oppion, thanks

Hi, I´m looking for a macro with only explosive shot in it.

The point of the macro would be to not be able to use explosive shot more then once ever 2 seconds.
because when i get LNL i would want to be able to spam the macro and still get the full durability of every explosive shot on the target.

ive tryed to do a castsequence with a resettimer of 2 with only a explosive shot in it but it doesnt seem to work with just a single spell in it.

or is this a waste of time? should i simply just put a steady shot in between the explosive shots?

ive searched the threads and doesnt seem to find an answer to this question.

however thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.

a few questions. im sorry , this information is prob somewhere but its very spread apart.
First of all, what is the highest dps spec for rogues right now, I am mut with Webed death and knife and incision and a combat rogue with less gear but Calamitiys grasp and Anarchy is pulling 400 easy more than me on a dummy

Second, with mut spec, MH fast OH slow Mh instant OH deadly? or is there a better choice

Third, Hit caps, i know it used to be good to cap poisons. with mut spec now , is it worth it to cap poisons? or should i just go for about 99 hit or so with precision, and gem up exp /crit/attack

Fourth, EXP caps, i know it is capeed at 26, keeping in mind question 3, what exp should i aim for before i start to stack crit /haste/AP

Fifth, Why does jimmy crack corn?

Sixth, what is the max rotation, currently i use Garot, SnD Mut Env mut mut rup mut mut env mut mut rup and so on

My character is Celinara in Guild Cataclysm on Realm Galakrond if anyone can check out my gear and give me pointers.

Alright I was checking out this rogue weapon sheet and was wondering why the Librarian's Paper Cutter is ranked so high up there for main hand? I currently have that equiped to my off hand and the titansteel shanker in my main. Should I have them the other way around? And I dont get why a blue weapon with only 130 dps and not that great of stat bonus's is ranked so high up on that list? Should I be using it until I get one of the two ranked above it? (this is for PVE btw)
