I've been a long time lurker at this forum but have never posted before, it's good to be finally doing so.
I have some comments a question.
Regarding previous posters questions on rotation, and to echo what others have said: it's almost as if there is no rotation any longer; more...targets of opportunity. I still use my old Slam/MS/Slam etc macro but whenever Overpower or Execute procs I hop on that. Also of course I keep Rend up at all times, and Lawlstorm whenever the CD is up. That last talent has turned us into A-Class AOE Nukers now. Still getting over the fact that we gain more DPS from Battle Stance (!) than we do from zerker: I only use zerker now for aoe and perhaps Execute spam with Recklesness at or under 10% or so. Who'd have thought that one day we'd be DPSing in Battle Stance and using Rend? Sounds like advice you give to a Level 29 Warrior! But it's true just the same.
Competition wise I've been raiding with two Fury warriors in 25s, and here is another change: Arms is quite competitive vs Fury, and when Fury wins, it isn't by much. Wish I had some WWS to link but the % difference between myself and the other two Furies (both with roughly equivalent gear) was relatively negligible compared to the BC. So it's almost as if the old, tired argument of Fury vs Arms is moot; it's almost as if Fury vs Arms is more a question of style. One difference remains however: Arms is even more intensive and hands-on that it was before and keeps you on your toes more than Fury would.
My question is regarding Expertise and Overpower: Expertise lowers the chance of the target to dodge: the logical conclusion is that this will reduce Overpower opportunities. Is this a good thing or a bad thing, since Overpower accounts for a good chunk of our damage now? It's been suggested to me that the mechanic governing this is similar to rage and resilience - resilience reduces damage taken, but we get rage from damage, so logically more resiliance = less rage, but obviously that isn't the case. So how much, if any, Expertise are my brother Arms warriors intending to go with?
Yes, that's the best weapon combo. For the weapon with Deadly Poison, the speed doesn't matter nearly as much as the overall DPS/stats. Yes, a faster weapon results in more FA procs, but that by itself isn't enough to make Webbed Death better than Sinister Revenge for that purpose.
Furthermore, if you take into account the Mutilate 2x OH proc bug, it's actually better to go MH Sinister Revenge (DP) and OH Webbed Death (IP).
imo unholy aura allows for more deathcoils bc of the increased cooldown time of the runes not to mention more white dmg which is nothing to scoff at as it is one of our biggest dps values. Typically I throw about 2 extra dath coilds per rotation depending on procs. Am I the only one that notices that you can throw death coils more and not sit at 100rp the whole time?
just wanted to say that... the numbers are actually solid lol....
maybe a lil heavy on haste but that's ok because.....
see the thing is that our moonkin stopped raiding. so i forgot about that being another 5% crit. in that case i'm sitting around 15% haste and 25% crit... gonna keep stacking each i guess. or should i go for int/spirit/power now?
