My question is for gemming. Now i follow the spreadsheet pretty much as gospel and have brought my dps from about 5kish before i started using said sheet to around 8500 on some boss fights. However with the new update to the sheet im having a small issue. Im gemmed mostly +ap as you can see with a few ap/crit, but with the new sheet suddenly its telling me Agi is the prime gem choice, which is fine and i can understand, but i go and change 1 piece of gear (my horrid belt, its a lack of expertise thing is only reason its still there) and it tells me now that ArP is the way to go, change my helm and its Agi again. Now obviously i dont wish to re-gem every time i get a new piece of gear and i realize that the sheet is correct in its recommendation of gem choices, but question is am i gimping myself by staying +AP atm? Or do you think i would be better off just gemming ArP to get ready for the future higher end gear which will end up being all ArP at the end anyway, or would gemming ArP with my currently gear level be even worse than sticking with AP?
Sorry for the wall of text, love the spreadsheets and advice i've gotten here over the years and hope i can get a little advice here this. thanks

Evilpancake, I would base gemming on what gear upgrades you are going to get. For the most part, combat rogues will eventually stack ArmPen gems based on your current static ArmPen, trinkets and the number of available gem sockets. I would go through the spreadsheet and plug in some future pieces you are looking to acquire and go from there.
Using myself as an example, right now Agility is better than AP for me (barely), but as soon as I get my next piece AP takes over and stays there, so I have left my AP/hit gems in my gear for future use. Find the balance because combat EPs run so close together it can be expensive just to earn 2 extra DPS.
I go on the idea that I am preparing for heroic encounters and plan accordingly. I hope this helps!
