i just read this and now i'm wondering... since when is 80% the hardcap for arp? i've never ever heard this?! i'm currently at 87.xx% armor penetration w/o any arp-food/elixiers. and if i change one of my +20arp gems to let's say agi i get less dps according to the spreadsheet, wich encouraged me to further gem arp for every single slot (except one to get the meta bonus).
maybe i just missed something and arp hardcap is really at 80% or i missunderstood your post (i'm german and my english could be better - sorry for that

) but i allways thought arpcap is at 1398 or 100%.
about the other thing you where askin about... i would like to know that too...
i've read many many posts but i didn't quite understand when the best time to apply serpent sting is (prolly due to my english) could anyone please tell me in simple terms when to apply it?
what i understoof was: that anybuffs/proccs will only buff serpent for as long as i don't refresh it (chimera) except for buffs/procs that do a %-dmg buff, wich will, if i reapply serpent then be active for as long as i don't reapply it (chimera will just refresh it).
because then i might not start the fight using my little makro:
/cast Unterdrückender Schuss (silencing)
/cast Schnellfeuer (rapid fire)
/cast Ruf der Wildnis (CotW)
/cast Schlangenbiss (serpent)
i really hope you guys get what i mean. i gave my best to make it understandable xD
