Hi im new to the forums and was just wondering what the thought was on the Tiny Abomination in a Jar for us Frost Dks?

Just trying to decide on if I should pick it up or just go with my DC and get a DBW.

So is there a conclusion as to what the best rotation is after acquiring the two-piece T10 bonus?

All I've heard is AB spam is no longer the highest dps and/or should not be used during burn phases.

The haste stat is a very common misconception, 20% haste is not a 20% faster cast despite Blizzard's poor tooltip, so in the interest of making sure people understand the correct formula (which I think is important regards Simulationcraft's output):
Hasted Cast Time = Base Cast Time / (1+ %haste)

thus 40% haste on a 2.5s SB is 1.78s

I was wondering if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong because I only reach about 5k dps max.

I follow the following rotation if its a boss:
IFF, MF, IIS, Wrath till eclipse, starfire till eclipse ends, redo dots (occasionally use starfall,treants,typhoon on moving fights) then start the wrath till eclipse again

On trash mobs I generally not cast IFF or IIS if I think raid can kill it quick

On Aoe trash fights more then 3 targets:
starfall,treants,typhoon,spam hurricane until one of the instants are up

For weapons I have Nibelung(264) or Perdition (232)

I have 4T9 but I replaced the gloves with Handguards of Winter's respite, the pants with Leggings of Unrelenting Blood, and the chest with Lunar Eclipse Robes (gemmed it differently to see if it would help so I know those gems are off). I have the Lasherweave Cover for a head slot but don't want to lose my 2T9 set bonus.

As for gems I have tried all the different type of druid gems and it doesn't help much at all. I figured I would use the +12SP/+10Crit in sockets where I would get the SP bonus of 5 or more. But stick with Runed Cardinals for everything else.

As for Trinkets, I'm not sure which to use in order to keep a decent hit rate and to maximize dps
I currently have Abyssal Rune, Sundial of the Exiled, Elemental Focus Stone, Darkmoon Cardeath, Talisman of Resurgence, and Shard of the Crystal Heart.

As Idols I have both Idol of Lunar Fury and Idol of Lunar Eclipse

I know my gear isn't the greatest but I am working to get better. Everyone else in ICC25 raid does 7k-10k even though some of my gear is better then theirs, gearscore add-on says my gear is 5567 even though that doesn't mean much but everyone elses isbarely 5000. So I have better gear but consider my dps to need lots of improvement. I am just not sure what I need to do. I use to top dps charts back in the BC days.

Just someone please tell me if I am doing something wrong so I can fix it and become good dps again.

I had a similar problem with Omen when I started trying to build a custom UI. Have you tried locking it? It removes those two lines down the middle, as well as the resize hatch in the bottom right, and makes it look a lot more "in place". It did the trick well for me.

question about back, about DPS back with agi/stam VS tanking back with streng/stam.. why everybody use tanking back? i try switch and dodge is still on the high level.. armor is litle higher and crit is higher.. only loose cca 40 defense .. is really bad? loose 40defense?

Well I'm not that focused on what will be optimal for me atm, more of which set pieces will most likely be included in bis gear(264)? Impending boots are quite expensive to craft and heroic fur boots should outoperform them anyways.

If I take the T10 pants i have the option to switch T9.245 helm to marginally better bag of entrails or even to geistlords helm.
