Not sure if this should be its own seperate thread (please split off if it should) or part of the 3.3 compendium, but I don't see it as really being part of the General Discussion forum even though it's for a fight because it's Warlock specific in regard to aspects of the Blood Princes (tanking of Prince Keleseth specifically).
I've been looking over the fight for the Blood Princes and specifically tanking of Prince Keleseth and what kind of spec will be most optimal for survival of the
Empowered Shadow Lances and overall threat generation.
So far I have not read nor heard of the maximum number of Dark Nuclei that can be up at a given time, nor how clustered they can become, nor how long they live, so how many stacks of the
Shadow Resonance we'll get at any given time. As such, I don't think it's viable for us to think that we're going to have more than 2 Shadow Resonance on us at any given time and I think it more likely we're going to have to depend on having only a single Shadow Resonance on us.
Going with these assumptions in mind I have come up with the following spec:
WoWHead Warlock Spec 0/30/41 - Prince Keleseth tanking
This spec, with running Fel Hunter, should give us approximately 16% base spell damage reduction, a potential of 30% more spell damage reduction depending on the pRNG, a large threat boost through Searing Pain, along with some self healing and mana gain.
The final glyph should be more a matter of taste and preferrence (I personally would lean more towards the Incinerate glyph myself).
