Hello everyone, its been a while I post here, but I think I should input some of my experience after my last 25man naxx lats night.
First my spec and stats atm :
Unbuffed
AP: 2855
Hit: 533
Crit: 22.64%
Expertise: 16
Unholy presence
Buffed
AP : 4400+
Crit: 31.5%+
Weilding a Angry Dead(2.6-156.6)/Split Greathammer(1.6-156.6)(Slow/Fast). I tryed to roll on the widow sword but my guild said other ppl need gear so I am stuck with a S/F setup.
My spec is 0/52/19. MY glyph are FS, IT, Death strike(mainly for soloing and I had no idea what to put there).
Last night from what recount said i finish first with overall dps of 3.3k. On Patchwerk i was pulling out 3.2k dps. My top 3 abilities was HB, white, FS(IT was close next). With that much hit I was at like 6.5% miss on white hit.
Before last patch I was for exemple at 2.8k dps on Patchwerk. The IT sigil and the new FS glyph really increase my dps, I think I would been even higher if HB CD wasnt bugged(showing its ready when its not).
My usual rotation is:
IT-PS-HB-FS-BS-BS-FS-FS
HB-IT-PS-FS-IT-IT-FS-FS
I also pop Unbreakable Amor every time its up, I usualy pop it on a death rune.
I havent try another DWing spec in a long while, but I teamed with some 0/32/39 DWing dk with about teh same level of gear as me and i was doing more dmg then them most of the time.
From what i am reading in here Impurity seem more worthwhile then Tundra Stalker but i am not sure since FS is higher dmg then my IT and Impurity dont add dmg to FS, but i might be wrong. I also never use my ghoul and I am not speced into gargoyle. Both of them seem to be unreliable but i might be wrong.
Lastly i think I will test Blood Presence next week or retraining into Impurity. Also I am not good at crushing numbers so I will let that to others.
If you want to lookup my DK is Ayamei on Mug'Thul.

Bink; the link you have for "your spec" leads to something else entirely ( ! Interprise Suite Accounting - ERP Solution for Everyone!) rather than a talent calc. Are you secretly trying to sell us elemental shaman some accounting/business solutions?

I was big into MM and I've been reading that surv is the new 50/21 in regards to damage. I've been trying to min/max the best I can for 10 mans and came up with this build. Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
I guess my biggest concern is keeping distance for sniper training and doing the trap dance. Would it be worth it to even run in and trap? I know I read that the traps and SrS are on different proc cool downs (sweet), but I would be losing time by running in and then more than likely disengaging out. Some fights such as Thaddius are obviously excluded.
Any support for why my spec is flawed, suggestions on regemming or enchanting are welcome, but the majority of my concern is running in to lay a trap. The World of Warcraft Armory
I've also been told that ES takes mana but does not do damage when you are below 2000 mana, so I am aware of this bug.

then please tell me again why blizzard changed game mechanics in wotlk making rogues losing the battle of best dps on bosses. if they gonna balance pve dps of all classes, then trash dps too!
btw, just did a naxx10, really focussed on the trash part. IT ROCKS!
pop tricks, pop AR, and wtfspam FOK. if its a big pull, you can easily do 10k+ trash dps. it owns. im a happy rogue.
(without AR you can still do 4-5k)

Ok, thanks for all of the fast replies, guys. I think I'll pick up Subversion with those three extra points, and drop the two from Anticipation to grab full GoG and FS. Hopefully I'll be able to get some Heroics or maybe a 10-man Naxx run in soon and be able to report back with some useful info.

I'm typing this on my iPod, so please dont mind typos. I recently made a dk (level 60 now) and was using a unholy spec, but since the patch I got really confused about how to play my dk correctly, so I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a nice leveling build, glyph suggestions, most effective single and AOE rotations, DW or 2h, most important stats and the best proffs for a DPS dk. Sorry for keeping it so simple, but again I'm typing this from my iPod. Thanks in advance!

Yellow attacks and white auto-attacks work completely differently and shouldn't be treated alike. Yellow attacks use a two-roll system, very similar to the way spells work. White auto-attacks however use a one-roll system. The most important thing to take from this, as it pertains to the question asked, is that the crit cap for specials is not affected by avoidances like dodge, parry, miss, etc. Therefore:
The extra 4.8% is there to counter the observed 4.8% crit chance reduction when attacking boss level mobs. Also, since the question was asked above: No, yellow special attacks cannot glance.
Since white auto-attacks are single roll, the crit cap for them would be affected by avoidances. Therefore, you could calculate the crit cap by subtracting your combined avoidance chance (miss + dodge + parry + glance + block) from 104.8%. As long as you are behind the mob, parry and block are 0%. Glance is always 24%. Therefore:

hmm, a guitar controller, some keymapping software and its time to rock the dps charts

Yes, probably. I will do some shooting and keep my eyes open.
I changed my macro a bit anyway, gonna try and see how that works out:
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/script UIErrorsFrame:UnregisterEvent("UI_ERROR_MESSAGE")
/cast Kill Shot
/castrandom Arcane Shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:RegisterEvent("UI_ERROR_MESSAGE")
/cast [modifier:alt] Serpent Sting
/cast Steady Shot
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
Kill Shot has a seperate cast now, and Arcane Shot has a seperate /castrandom. Maybe that'll work.

1 button mash, still tuning
I'm still fine tuning this, and I'm not entirely sure if a /castsequence or /castrandom would work better. What does work really well is that this macro refreshes Serpent Sting right as it wears off without clipping.
Macro 1 - Adjust the number of "!Auto Shot" to match the duration of your Serpent Sting.
/castsequence reset=17 Serpent Sting, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot, !Auto Shot
Macro 2 - "ActionButton3" is where I put Macro 1
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
/click ActionButton3
/cast !Auto Shot
/castsequence Kill Shot, Aimed Shot, Arcane Shot, Steady Shot
/cast [target=pettarget,exist] Kill Command
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

Trap Dance? better to TAP Dance!
Instead of trap dancing for your own entertainment... why not TAP dance for everyone else?
Imagine: you could hack in your own theme music, get your Gorilladin and vanity pet to be your back-up dancers (a la Gladys Knight & the Pips), and put an Elvis "Thank you, thank you very much" emote at the end.
I'd /clap and /cheer for that !

I'm a very well geared hunter, but I'm lacking the BiS pieces with hit... [Surge Needle Ring], [Chestguard of Flagrant Prowess], [Torn Web Wrapping], etc...
Here's my current set up:
Night Elf: Inscription/LW - always have +1% hit buff
6/14/51 Build
Melee - [Journey's End][Item not found!]
Head - [Blue Aspect Helm][Relentless Earthsiege Diamond][Rigid Autumn's Glow][Arcanum of Torment]
Neck - [Favor of the Dragon Queen][Rigid Autumn's Glow]
Shoulders - [Valorous Cryptstalker Spaulders][Delicate Scarlet Ruby]Master's Inscription of the Axe
Back - [Aged Winter Cloak][Scroll of Enchant Cloak - Major Agility]
Chest - [Tunic of Masked Suffering][Scroll of Enchant Chest - Super Stats]
Wrists - [Arachnoid Gold Band]Fur Lining - Attack Power
Hands - [Gloves of Calculated Risk][Scroll of Enchant Gloves - Precision]
Waist - [Depraved Linked Belt][Eternal Belt Buckle][Rigid Autumn's Glow]
Legs - [Valorous Cryptstalker Legguards][Delicate Scarlet Ruby][Balanced Twilight Opal][Icescale Leg Armor]
Feet - [Boots of the Renewed Flight][Scroll of Enchant Boots - Icewalker]
Rings - [Ring of Invincibility][Strong-Handed Ring]
Trinkets - [Grim Toll]Darkmoon Card: Greatness
Ranged - [Envoy of Mortality][Heartseeker Scope]
Other - [Dragonscale Ammo Pouch][Mammoth Cutters]
I have other hit-gear options including:
[Black Ice]
[Pack-Ice Striders]
[Vereesa's Silver Chain Belt]
and many other not-so-great gear options...
As Armor Pen doesn't effect ExS, I just hate having [Grim Toll] equipped. I'd much rather equip [Mirror of Truth] and be ready for [Fury of the Five Flights] when I have enough dkp to outbid everyone else on it when it drops. [Black Ice] is an obvious choice, but I hate giving up a BiS item plus if the feral druid who I outbid on the one time Kel dropped it for us saw me with it, he'd probablly /gkick me.
I don't really trust spreadsheets 100%, they are a great guide, but I think it's a mistake to use Shandaras as a bible. Any thoughts on my current set up versus a 4/16/51 build with 2 in Focused Aim, a little re-gemming and equipping [Mirror of Truth]? At least until I get some better luck with BiS hit gear... I'm not too concerned with the pet dps loss of Focused Aim, as it's really quit marginal.
