Mhm, last week my DBW dropped so i decided to go MM (93,3% ArP) - for the first time.

So there's my question...
If i get Piercing Shots with an 8k SteadyShot-Crit and my next Steady-Shot will crit for 6k then my first bleeding-effect will disappear and replaced by the newer (but lower) one?
Or is there something that reminds the damage and add it to the new bleeding-effect?
Because every Crit below the damage of the CS-Crit would be a dmg-loss, am i right?
Example (a)
00.00| 12.000 CS-Crit
00.00| 4.000 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds. [+750]
01.50| 8.000 AiS-Crit
01.50| 2.600 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds. [+487]
03.00| 6.000 Steady-Crit
03.00| 2.600 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds. [+375]
04.50| 6.000 Steady-Crit
04.50| 2.600 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds. [+375]
06.00| 6.000 Steady-Crit
06.00| 2.600 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds. [+375]
07.50| 6.000 Steady-Crit
07.50| 2.600 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds. [+375]
= 46.737 dmg.
6 Crits [CS, AiS, 4xSS]: 2.737 effective dmg with Piercing Shots.
Example (b)
00.00| 12.000 CS-Crit
00.00| 4.000 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds.
01.50| 6.000 AiS-non-Crit
03.00| 4.000 Steady-non-Crit
04.50| 4.000 Steady-non-Crit
06.00| 4.000 Steady-non-Crit
07.50| 4.000 Steady-non-Crit
08.00|[+4000]
= 38.000 dmg.
1 Crit [CS] 5 non-Crits: 4.000 effective dmg with Piercing Shots.
Well.. i'm not sure how a "Crit" exactly works, so the non-Crit numbers are fantasy numbers - In which area is the amount of damage that a "Crit" can do?
Would it maybe be better to lower your critrate and stack more ap (or arp until cap) to have higher (non-)Crits and higher dmg with Piercing Shots (high numbers and longer duration of the effect)?
I mean the difference between the overall dmg in my examples is 8.000 dmg - and this only if all of your special-shots crit!
Sorry for my horrible english. Hope you understand my "problem".

Edit:
An example with an "early" and a "late" Crit.
Example (c)
00.00| 12.000 CS-Crit
00.00| 4.000 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds.
01.50| 6.000 AiS-non-Crit
03.00| 4.000 Steady-non-Crit
04.50| 4.000 Steady-non-Crit
06.00| 4.000 Steady-non-Crit
0.750| [+3750]
07.50| 6.000 Steady-Crit
07.50| 2.600 Piercing Shots -
8 Seconds.
07.50| [+375]
= 40.125 dmg.
1 Crit [CS] 4 non-Crits [AiS, SS, SS, SS] 1 Crit [SS]: 4.125 effective dmg with Piercing Shots.
Grmpf, okay - still not better than Example (a), would really help me to know how a crit clearly works.. I even don't know how a non-Crit work (because of the different numbers of non-Crits).

Edit2:
Haha, okay - i forgot about ISS. So everything critting is truly better.. maybe except (
!) in the case that the last SS crits and proccs ISS.. but that would be pure luck.
Although it would be nice if someone can explain how Piercing Shots exactly works (like in my examples?) and how a (non-)crit is exactly calculated.
Well, at least i can go to sleep now.
