Has anyone done the math or tested the black magic enchant since its change? I've been looking all around EJ for some information on it as it relates to warlocks (for either afflic or destro), but haven't seen anything. Ive seen all arcane mages switch to that enchant, but im hesistant to switch.

After running my gear through RAWR I'm in two minds about dropping my 2pc T9 bonus and getting the Leggings of Woven Death made and possibly grabbing the Gloves of False Gestures before my T10 chest. Am I better off waiting and grabbing the T10 Chest, currently running around with Merlin's Robe, or breaking the T9 2pc bonus?

I have some trouble with Rawr (not sure if rawr ic calculating correct the importance of arp hard cap).

I have Shadow's Edge, Bryntroll and Ramaladni.
If i could easily compensate the caps (exp, arp, hit) with other gear, would it be an option to take Brynntroll as mainhand (as offhand the procc is wasted) and put Shadow's Edge in the offhand.

Or is this a dps loss, in comparison to Shadow's Edge MH (cause of the nice slow speed) and Ramaladni OH (exp and arp hard cap easier to get).

Just wondering if any1 has done the maths on glyphs with the T10 bonus...is TOW still better than EM or should i maybe go with LB glyph?? ty in advance

Yes, you could use the spread sheet. I would go with NES and Greatness if I were you. Never use herkuml. Haste is a horrible stat for hunters. You wasted your badges.

Great news, everyone! Festergut 25 is down and i have his blood...

Said that i'm here looking looking for an help mainly from those who already have an equip more based on the ICC 25 drop. So yhea, this is an itemization problem.

As i upgrade my equip, i'm loosing Hit Rating and Expertise. As it is right now, i don't have aggro issue but i'm scared of the future...Standing at 194 Hit Rating(5.92%), and 17 Expertise i'm getting closer to the second t10 piece, and i would like to get the helm (i already got the shoulders).
As you know, the t9.5 helm comes with 53 hit rating(1.6%), and loosing even those points will bring me, i think, too low.

What do you think about?

just got my dk 80 and i have 3 newbie questions:

1)why on rotation we have to start with PS-IT instead of IT-PS?

2)why on AoE rotation first we have to spread diseases and after do DnD instead of first do DnD?

3)About Bone Shield, when its better to use it during rotation? Was thinking after the 2 BS with casting blood tap and cast it and after cancel the Blood tap's aura.

Nice thread. Thanx. I have been running my DK as a tank and he's about to crack 80. I just switched from frost tank last night after reading some posts to unholy DPS. The talent tree with rotation was a help. What order should i be looking at for stats now that i will be getting some serious gear shortly....????

1st HIT till 295?
2nd EXPERTISE till 172?
3rd strength?
4th AP?
5th Crit?

Or do i have this order mixed up?

I found these macros on various sites. They dont seem to work as stated. Can someone please help me debug them or suggest a macro to use instead.

Target:
/focus [modifier:alt] target
/stopmacro [modifier:alt]
/target [target=focus,harm] focus
/assist [target=focus,help] focus; [target=pet, exists] playerpet

This macro is located on my bottom left Action bar in the #2 slot, it is supposed to set my focus or my pet then attack his target. It does not work.

Start
/cast Hunter’s Mark
/petattack
/cast Serpent Sting

This macro is located on my bottom left Action bar in the #3 slot: it does not cast mark but does fire serpent.

Attack
#showtooltip Auto Shot
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton2
/click MultiBarBottomLeftButton3

This macro is located on my bottom left Action bar in the #1 slot. It seems to work.

If I manually select a target I am able to get serpent to fire.

When you reach AB4 if you dont have an MBAM procced it's really up to the mage himself to decide what to do next. It's higher dps to go ahead and keep casting AB fishing for a MBAM but its VERY mana intensive. If you are fine on mana or have a gem off CD it's safe to probably cast 2 or 3 more AB. If you are below half mana or thereabouts you should probably wipe the stack with a abarr and start the cycle again. Those situations are fairly rare but ultimately its up to you to decide based on current conditions which is the better option.

1) As Unholy, it is favorable to lead with Plague Strike to get Rage of Rivendare and Ebon Plague up before Icy Touching, since Icy Touch will deal more damage than Blood Plague with its Glyph. In cases where you do not start at melee, it could be a DPS increase to Icy Touch before you reach the target.

2) You want to spread diseases before Death and Decaying so that all affected targets of the Death and Decay have Ebon Plague applied, and so that your Death and Decay will gain the benefit of Rage of Rivendare.

3) Since it lasts 5 minutes, it should be applied before the fight, and if it falls off during combat, during one of the free GCDs (or as a replacement for Horn of Winter) in conjunction with Blood Tap.

Edit: Typed Crypt Fever instead of Ebon Plague.

My mage is even better equipped according to some forums I read but that what happens is that I'm not giving a damage Satisfactory ...
So I wish you could help me, I use a rotation 5xAB + mBarrage not having major problems with mana put the new bonus of 2 shares of the t10 will not damage would be higher if I used the rotation 4xAB + mBarrage to take so stem the bonus only lasts a few seconds.
