Blood Strike is a miserable substitute for Heart Strike no matter how you look at it.

Keep using Heart Strike and just be careful not to use it immediately after they spawn. Either use a Death Coil or Death Strike. Ranged should have aggro on them soon enough. Resistant Skin (the buff they have) reduces AoE damage by 95%, so Heart Strike's cleave should be doing insignificant amounts of damage to them and you would only pull aggro if no one else was on the aggro table of whichever beast got cleaved.

I have not read the hole thread. If this idea came up already a singel no this won't work is ok.
Will a reaping build with GoD and 2T10 work or be compareable?

I should have been more specific too, I don't do more than 5k on any tank and spank fight as well as the dummy. In the reaping rotation, there seems to be a lot of dead time while runes refresh. Also when I look at recount, it shows my melee strikes being my top dps and a distant second is scourge strike, where supposedly the scourge strike is your highest dps output. So i've read where the rotation is ps,it,bs,bs,ss,dc,ss,dc,ss,ss,dc and i'll assume you just rinse and repeat that? Or am I missing something about dk dps rotations?

I've been messing around with [Nibelung] and it doesn't seem worth it to me. With the haste i am at my arcane missiles are 1 sec with BL + IV + Totem. Using the staff i would have to find another way to reach the soft haste cap again. Although the proc on it seems like a huge boost in overall dps (no ICD) I'm not sure if it is worth it until i can hit the haste i need again. Haven't been able to mess around with it in RAWR but just ran a few test at the dummy.

Shot rotation help

Ok.... i came back from a wow Vacation (June to October) Under geared and out of the loop... and Marksman was king.. so i was told .. i respec and start grinding for gear... now 3 months later ihave a gs of 2849 but my dps is low.. like in raid it maybe 3500.. and i know thats not right... i know its my rotation.. ive asked a ton of hunters and got different answers
so now i ask.. what is the right rotation.. and if anyone has time look at my ton and tell if hes geared right.. ive asked others an i get...."Looks ok"

It adds an element to the game unique to arms warriors, and if you're good at it, it shows

okay so i was playing around on wowhead with the profiler and i wanted to see the stats if i tried to compile a BiS list using the gear that wowhead knows about, and i know most of the socket bonuses are not listed yet, and that might change the 1 gem i chose to put in the chest

but looking at it with the currently available gear known on wowhead, it looks pretty solid to me
check it out and let me know what you think, like if this is mostly what we're looking at for "bored of ICC" gear

i've looked around, and it seems that this may have been already asked, but there is a lot of random thoughts around the question of cooldown stacking.

As an arcane mage, is it more beneficial to save your 2nd 84second Arcane Power cooldown to use alongside your 144second Icy Veins cooldown? I understand waiting to use cooldowns during high damage phases (Jaraxxus buff, Icehowl crash, etc.), but I was thinking for more stand and burn fights. Meaning, you would wait 20seconds after the 2nd AP use to use it along with the Icy Veins cast?

It will usually depend on how long the fight is. If that is your last AP before fight end it's ok to wait, in other cases I've mostly seen using it as soon as possible to be a better option.

This feels like a somewhat silly question, but is there any viable spec that combines the new Molten Core with Conflagrate? I was thinking that because Immolate would be lasting for an additional 9 seconds (for a total of 24 second Immolates) that the increased damage from Conflagrate might make this a possible dual-tree spec in tandem with Decimation much like the 0/40/31 weaving spec that was popular last year.

ok, got the 4p t10 today. as far as i read i modify my starting rotation and popp nmic when 4p procs and the same again in the 35% phase. which makes drinking wild magic pre fight a little useless unless you get the proc in 10 secs.

Any opinions on clipping ua and coa during the fight when 4p proc is active, loosing at least 1 shadow bolt, or will it be better to simply keep the rotation?

I start to using 110 ap @ 2hand. I believe berserking / mongoose uptimes really low after ppm changes. I believe its %25~ uptime with low haste (%10~). What you guys thinking about it?
Predatory Strikes is another factor for me actually.

Great to see another SV thread thats updated, hope we can get some useful info here!

I'm currently quite well geared but noticing in the spreadsheet that MM is still not a viable choice... perhaps due to a lack of ArP but even gemming fully ArP results in a dps loss on the spreadsheet. It's been bugging me for weeks why the dps is lower if MM is supposed to be better at higher gear levels. Anyone else finding this or maybe I'm missing something crucial? Tried so many different variants of specs, glyphs, shot rotations, pet types and just about anything else that could be effecting the dps going lower.

I really hate to post this but I've been racking my brains for weeks as to why this is happening:
At the moment I'm specced SV and am pretty well geared in terms of what is available right now, quite a few upgrades to get but I'm definitely on par with ICC25 gearings by a long way. Problem I've got is that I know MM should be better for me at this kind of gear level, but all tests on dummies, spreadsheets and shot rotations indicate that it just isnt! I've tried regemming ArP in the spreadsheet, adding an ArP trinket, different specs, glyphs, rotations... pretty much everything I can think of to see MM as a viable spec to SV, but the biggest increase I've seen is around 30dps from my current gear and spec.

I don't want to beg for help but I truly am stumped by why this is occuring for me, is it because the ArP on my gear just isn't enough?
If anyone has any thoughts, please load my character into the spreadsheet and hopefully you'll see what I mean! I noticed the best possible SV and MM specs have a 2k difference so... there's gotta be something I'm doing wrong :P
