Problem I've got is that I know MM should be better for me at this kind of gear level, but all tests on dummies, spreadsheets and shot rotations indicate that it just isnt! I've tried regemming ArP in the spreadsheet, adding an ArP trinket, different specs, glyphs, rotations... pretty much everything I can think of to see MM as a viable spec to SV, but the biggest increase I've seen is around 30dps from my current gear and spec.

I don't want to beg for help but I truly am stumped by why this is occuring for me, is it because the ArP on my gear just isn't enough?
If anyone has any thoughts, please load my character into the spreadsheet and hopefully you'll see what I mean! I noticed the best possible SV and MM specs have a 2k difference so... there's gotta be something I'm doing wrong :P
You are using Arcane Shot. Take it out of your rotation and your spec.

Hi, long time reader but first post here.

About the SoA/SoV as far as i see SoV wins by alot on 2+ target fight for me but on single tho SoA is worth more dps even that i have low ArP.At last saurfang i was at 8.9k dps with the current spec in my armory and the only difference in gear was i used 3/5 t10 with the gloves from lana'thel 10man.My guild doesnt upload logs regulary tho so i cant check and link you back the numbers.

As far as i see Frost scale realy good with weapons dps and at some point it become realy easyer to play than the other 2 spec as I personaly came to the point where on single target my FS outdamage my HB so i dont have to sync KM with Rime.At single target i burn KM first if i have available IT soon and as 2nd prio on FS and i use HB just on every proc because with 42% raidbuffed crit it still crit most of the times and it will get some KM around at some point anyway.
Currently my Meta is not activated because my nightmare tear gem is on my Bryntroll that i use for my blood spec,so i expect to brake around 9.2k this week with the tier set bonus and meta fixed+army/armor and haste pot.

At the moment tho simulators bring me haste as 3th stat over crit and after str and arp so i think about using a bit more haste gear soon.I beleave if i go for necrosis and bkb that it will scale even better with it.

Ok, so I've read a fair bit, but am still not sure where to find the ideal base standards for the different stats. I am working with the wife to try and get her up to speed, lots of good gear, but it seems as we go into icc her dps is actually going backwards. Once again, sorry to be asking if it has already been discussed elsewhere.

Assuming hit cap, what is the proper importance to focus on for a 0/53/18 FFB spec'd mage, (Targobelle on Sentinels)

Currently she's stacking sp>crit>haste (hit capped of course)

Are the stats in the right priority or should we be changing it around a bit. Also are there any soft caps on crit or haste to be careful of.

I made the experience that a BM as 2. Spec is very helpful and a lot of Fun at many encounters in ICC.

For Rotface you can easily take in the part of the Oozekiter as BM Hunter. Until you get the first big Ooze, you run about 13k-16k DPS with Your Cooldowns active. After that let your Devilsaur or whatever your BM pet is DPS on Rotface and begin kiting the Oozes while your pet is dealing about a few thousand DPS on Rotface using Aspect of the Beast. With Deterrence, Disengage and Rocketboots you also got nice options to avoid a dangerous situation, eg. having the debuff by yourself. With a Hunter kiting at the Rotface encounter your Raid saves a Tank and wins a Damagedealer. Ah yes, and it's a lot of fun =).

Same for the Blood Princes encounter. Tanked the prince as MM in the first ID (10 and 25) aswell as BM in the second. Both times without any stamina gear/flask. Doing this as BM, you got the 5% less damage bonus from imp. Aspects, a strong pet dealing damage on the focus target and enough space to kick up some kinetic bombs in your range, while just holding threat by using killshot on cd ( /cast [target=focus] Killshot) with the glyph.

For Lana'thel, don't forget to reapply your Serpentsting after becoming a Vampire (Like always, hopefully with Aim of the Irondwarfs, Tricks of Trade, t10 2piece proc and Paragon)

For whole ICC I would also recommend being Engineer. Rocketboots are the most powerful professionbonus I've ever seen. :>

DMC:Greatness decision

Hello, I ´ve recently dinged 80 on my druid alt and have a Nobles Deck in my inventory, which brings up a question for me.
I play only casually, but would like to someday be able to fill both roles as a tank and as a healer and that leaves me wondering which trinket would a (dualtalented) bear/tree benefit most of?
I´ve tried to search for this kind of answer but found only comments on DMC:Greatness from two separate points of view. I´m more inclined towards taking the AGI version since it seems as a more "lasting" investition (it seems i won´t replace it that easily, compared to healing trinkets) though the INT version seems more "general" (i feel that resto druids don´t benefit much from AGI, though I can imagine INT being slightly useful for ferals in PVP environment).
I am grateful for any kinds of thoughts on this
Thanks!

Hi,

This is my first post so I'm sorry if this question isnt typical theroy crafting.

Ive read thorugh the thread and have found that everyone is saying MP5 Is twice as good as Crit as a regen stat. I recently changed specs to get divine gaurdian instead of going into ret tree and noticed my crit seems quite low.

Im just wondering if my understanding of this is correct using these 2 theroretical items.
Item one
+80 Int
+80 Stam
+80 Spellpower
+80 Haste
+40 Mp5

Item two
+80 Int
+80 Stam
+80 Spellpower
+80 Haste
+80 Crit Rating

These items would provide the same amount of regen spamming holylight 100% of the time. Anything less then 80 Crit and I should go with the MP5. Anything over 80 I should get Crit. Is this correct or have I not understood this correctly.

My second question is that I see alot of people taking about hitting the soft haste cap. I know it is benifical to go above haste cap. but I dont think I have enough mana to sustain higher levels of hatse(31k Mana with 666 haste unbuffed). Do most people hit this softcap buffed or unbuffed?

My thirdd question is about tier 10, 2 Piece. What two pieces should I be going for? Right now I think I would be going Shoulders and possibly helm based on some of the itemization ive seen so far with regards to other loot being available.

Thanks alot for your help, and sorry in advance for the noobier questions.

Hello fellow druids,
I am a bit confused at the moment about what spec/glyph setup i should use.
First of all, i am not in a guild (so far), because of my RL schedule i can raid about 2-3 hours a day, tho i must say that i don't enjoy raids that last more then 3-4 hours.

So my main focus are ICC10(usually up to rotface), TOGC10, TOC25 and ICC25 (first wing).

At the moment i managed to gather some decent gear (unlucky with Mag'Hari Chieftain Staff and a decent back) so i have dropped CF. I know that the druid it's a versatile class and even as resto it gives several specs to match individuals playstyle preferences, but still...

I used the CF/Revitalize spec with RR, WG and Swiftmend glyphs until i reached 850haste, then i changed to my current spec.
What have i gained? Bigger heals from Nourish and Living Seed.
What have i lost? The RR glyph.

Now to my questions:

1. Should i spec back to 18/0/53 since Rejuv will benefit from the extra haste?
2. Should i remain to my current 14/0/57 spec and replace WG or Nourish with RR glyph?

So far i noticed that Nourish is not a "main" healing spell for me. Also RR glyph comes with certain mana costs, but i have a decent mana regen that will rise even more when i will get the staff from saurfang 10man.

I'll help with this last question. There are 3 set pieces itemized with haste/crit (helm, shoulders, chest), and two itemized with crit/mp5 (hands, gloves). I found that the shoulders and helm were the best use of Emblems for me, especially since the 251 chest is subpar with only two sockets.
