Horde Hunter
I am transferring my alliance hunter to my horde server. What race would be the top dps in a raiding enviroment...orc or troll? I checked the FAQ, but no racial info was included.

According to the spreadsheet it is. You really should not be using Bryntroll in your offhand, you'd be better off using a lower ilvl weapon for that stats. Either swap Bryntroll and Shadow's Edge around or drop Bryntroll.

sorry if this has been asked a million times, but is it best to gem hit/exp to reach the caps after your at the white crit cap and arp soft caps? or do you just aim for arp hard cap and then when your there, you get hit/exp capped?

A response to a previous post about Haste not boosting HPM.
When you hit the Haste Soft Cap as a Paladin, Your HL is 1.3 seconds. If you get more haste and put HL down to 1.2 seconds that means you're techincally healing more per minute unless i have the HPM acronym wrong.

Long time reader first time posting.

Im very confused about the whole Arp Vs Agi discussion. Currently i have the soft cap with needle which is 722 Arp from gear + gems. But if i drop needle for banner of victory and full regem ArP i can get around 82% Arp passive while still maintaining 2pc t9 and 2pc t10.

Here is where my problem lies. According to all spreadsheets(femaledwarf, shandaras, simcraft), doing that is a dps loss, but i see so many hunters that just stack ArP and hit around 80-90% passive ArP. Just all around confused on what i should be doing.

You do. HPS is heals per second; HPM is heals per mana.

the closer you are to arpen hardcap the more value hit and expertise have. plus with the gear you will have you will be close to crit cap anyway(guessing that you have some proc with agi)

Since I shall not write: "Help me not suck!" I will ask: "Help me to understand my sockets better." I tried to use gems according to the guide, but I might have overdone it a bit on the Hitrating already. Perhaps I should exchange some to Attack Power, since I see a great increase in dps as soon as I activate the trinket. Or a completely differnt options. What dps would you expect out of my gear anayway? I can't seem to get much above 4200 at e.g. Saurfang, where I can permanately follow the priority/rotation since I don't have to do anything else...

Profiler - Wowhead

Current list I put together before ICC Hard-Modes are released. This isn't the absolute BiS list, as I have opted for items that are easy to obtain or items that I already have in my possession.

With the help of Aldriana's sheet, as an Orc I could only get roughly 11832DPS. If anyone has any better suggestions please let me know.

First Come, First Serve. As it regards to Ret, if I have it correctly, once your initial round of attacks is done, use whatever's coming off cooldown as soon as it's available. Don't bother waiting for a more powerful spell; just cast what you can, when you can.

Where does the EJ-Mage community find useful mage related information and forum discussion other than here? I'm hoping there is a website similar to TankSpot, except for caster DPS. Perhaps my googlefu is weak. I've found a couple of "guides" but I'm more in need of a forum. I've found the o-boards can be useful, but it is difficult to seperate the wheat from the chaff. The problem I'm having is I have questions that I know are not up to the calibre of posting required here.

Which could be ironic if this post also is not up to snuff. In which case I appologize and please toss on the dungheap.
