As an Unholy DPS who isn't raiding in ICC, the only way I can collect EoF is through dailies and the weekly quest - i.e. a long time to collect T10 pieces.

Given that time frame would it just be more sensible for me to stay with 4 T9 and spend the EoF on other pieces, or is 2 T10 + 2 T9 a viable alternative?

I've currently got 96 EoF so that's one piece in the bank, so to speak.

I tested my dps 3 weeks ago on a dummy while changing glyphs.
I tried stormstrike, lightning bolt and lava lash. In the end i found that the lava lash glyph gave me more dps than either of the other 2.
(my other 2 glyphs are feral spirit and windfury)
But i was wondering... does lightning bolt not trigger more often on bosses than on dummy (let's say whenever they aoe)
so it this something i can test reliably on a dummy? Or should i try and test it in a heroic or something(that would mean it would take 3 days since i would need to be the same heroic)?
(pls, pls don't tell me to put it in bis all those numbers make me dizzy)

So if i'm not gonna use some program to test my dps what is the best way to test how much more dps i do with certain glyphs?

I wanted to ask here to make sure. At the moment, it's a DPS loss to switch over to 2pc T10/2pc T9 and Reaping (extremely unlucky with certain ArP pieces). But, would obtaining the 4pc bonus of T10 push that into a DPS increase? My guess would be yes, especially seeing how high the 4pc bonus is weighted for T10. Wanted to make sure though.

Anyone know a definite answer to the strength vs agi Ashen Verdict rings.

Some say for plate dps its a dps loss cause 4 of the 5 stats are better on the agi ring. I have heard other claims of mods like rawr scaling it higher as well.

I think that they create a mace or somethink like from Anub with SP/Haste/Crit and what will they do ? Nothink...but dont cry guys i hope that there is somethink like reason.

Whining in any form is forbidden. Blizzard is not incompetent or stupid and they are not intentionally screwing you over and neither is anyone else. If all you're going to do is complain, don't bother posting.

If one is going to bother with a 10-man only list, perhaps a 25 normal list might also be of use? Not all guilds who clear 25 man content have competitive 10 man hardmodes, and a good number of the "sans heroic 25 man" bits end up 10 man hard mode items.

i got a question about the BiS gear
it seems like we will lack of expertise with the BiS gear? so that means we need to socket expertise untill we don't get capped?

But when they released this, i dont think that they gave from LK two same drops which is diffent only by mace/sword.

How many people do 10 mans and only 10 mans? Perhaps a person is in a "strict" 10 man guild, but they don't occasionally join the 25m TotC pug? Focusing on 10ms is understandable, but never ever dabbling in 25s?

I live in Japan and so the raid times for me playing on a European server are pretty terrible considering I work 6 days a week from 10-10.
My guild runs weekend raids from 3pm to 6pm and they I can attend, 3pm server time is 11pm for me so its not so bad.

My guildies do the occasional pug of 25 sure, but I never do, they start at about 5am my time.

Wow.. I kinda went on a bit, thats the reason I wanted to see a 10man only list as.... 10mans is really all I can do...

What bizzare methodology did you use that made Lava Lash glyph even vaguely useful? A 10% boost to our lowest damage ability is better than an 8% boost to our top TWO dps abilities + a boost to our passive shield damage?

Hint every single other Enhancement shaman out there that has a clue has Stormstrike glyph equipped. Why? Because mathematically it does far more dps boost than any other glyph. It is REALLY not that difficult to do the maths on that one.

Second - if you are going to be dismissive of the simulators that I and others put hundreds of hours of effort into then at least have the decency to explain WHY you think your methods are better and what they are. Otherwise you come across as someone who is otherwise clueless and has put little to no effort into doing proper research. It sounds like your tests were no more than a 5 minute hit about on the target dummy?? My guess is that you didn't even take into account any other buffs/debuffs on the target and so when you were doing Lava Lash test I bet there was someone else around testing on the same dummy debuffing the target. Then when you tested the Stormstrike glyph a few mins later he'd gone and so you assumed that didn't matter when in reality it completely screwed your tests.

We are all for having our methods tested and proved wrong so that we can all improve. So please provide your info, so we can all benefit from your wisdom. You need to provide ACTUAL DATA if you are going to challenge accepted wisdom.

Has anyone tested to see if Amplify Magic increases the healing, but not damage in Blood Prince Council encounter.

There used to be more discussion on encounters where Amp/Dampen Magic could be used

I have not been able to find any recent information on these spells. (Excluding Twins)

Should rephrase the question as I know it increases healing.

Will it increase the damage done by :
Shadow Lance / Conjure Flame / Glittering sparks

Hey everyone!
So Lich King loot is already available.. I must say I was very disapointed with the loot. Not that the weapons are not awsome, cause they are but I was really looking forward to see an awsome trinket dropping here. So with my hope shattered what do you consider to be the BiS items for an arcane mage? I rly doubt that we'll be raiding with a different in the meanwhile
