As was stated, it is best to have your cooldowns up for Heroism, but provided this doesn't mean you lose one use of them over the course of a fight. 30s seems late for the Heroism call on fights where you're not saving it for a particular mechanic. If you're waiting 30s into a fight to use your cooldowns for the first time, there's a decent chance you may be clipping one last use at the end of a fight, and actually losing DPS by doing so.
As for Haste potion, yes still save for Heroism. Some people pre-pot (using a potion before combat begins, which lets you use another one later in the fight since you don't get the "debuff" for using a potion until your second). You may miss being able to use it during Heroism\Bloodlust depending on when the call is, though.
Thanks for this advice. I ended up with blowing every CD I have whenever they are avaible, granted that a 5stack sunder is on. The only exception is when I *know* that heroism is arriving in a short period of time, but it's not often..
This change of playstyle sendt me up a few hundred DPS
Hi. I am very confuse regarding a few issues. First, Death Embrace, when a "patchwerk" style fight where i can literally stay on the boss full time, while rolling corruption crits with NMC trinket. Do i overwrite a new corruption even if my NMC trinket is not up? Secondly, on Saronite bombs, I can't seems to fit in the bomb to my normal dps rotation. Any care to share them?
On the Arthas encounter during phase 5, you can be useful to your raid by doing damage to the Vile spirits. To do this however, you have to time jumping with your swing timer and Cleave and also jumping to Whirlwind.
I had a hard time tank healing Festergut the other day. My question is - is a Disc priest with a 5.1k GS capable of solo-healing the tanks during 10 man Festergut?
Same applied to me, was tank healing with a druid and a holy priest on the raid. First attempt i found the druid standing next to me doing nothing when raid healing was at a lull and me going full throttle on the tank to keep him up. He got nudge and started to help out on the tank when the stacks get high.
Its not impossible to keep the tank alive by yourself with the use of your own CD and the tanks using theres aswell. Just ensure you dont both pop them at the same time. If raid damage is at a lull point, the other healers should really be helping out aswell unless they are regaining mana which should be unlikely.
Not sure how any of this is even relevant. Unless you have something new to say then don't say it. I wouldn't even be making this post except to answer this below question.

Note the damage of Serpent Sting was not increased after I was bit, nor was it increased when I refreshed with Chim. This means that Essence of the Blood Queen, like all other %dmg modifiers, requires Serpent to manually be reapplied.
Seems like you said almost the exact same thing as he did?
