So it's like this. Today I got Inevitable Defeat, Valorous chest and Sigil, so I was thinking, is it worth respeccing with a 2hand DPS build? Before I used 32/39 with Maexxna's Femur and Grasscutter. So what do you think I should do, and if I should respecc could you link a good specc and rotation? Maybe 17/54? Thanks

I was wondering about my choice of gems. I respecced to assasination and replaced most gems with 32 AP /54 AP.
Doing so I got a real boost in AP but I lost quite a bit of Expertise. Now I have 11 Expertise, 16 with Bufffood.
Since 16 is still awful low, I loose 3% dmg just by parries and dodges.

The question is, should I:
a) switch back to combat with Greed Mh / LPC Offhand for the 5 Expertise.
b) replace some AP gems with Expertise
c) dont change anything and wait for better gear


I know, there are only 2 Prismatic gems, but I am savin one for the Maly 25 neck which I hope to get tonight.

remember d2 ,also a game by blizzard, there was a stat called "magicfind" increase the chance to find loot with higher Ilvl

so it is possible to need magicfind for better loot, as a kind adjustments

Hey ZODD1, i'm curious to know what your dps on 25 man patchwerk is with the gear u have. My gear is similar but i'm not used to the fury rotation yet (Just been playing fury for a week or so). Just wanted to know where i'd have to aim for this week 25 man !

I completely forgot about Careful Aim.

Brain Freeze should trigger Frostfire Bolt or Fireball. Your choice.

It should also be 100% crit and no threat and no mana.

Frost also deserves a molten fury type talent as well.

I can't find a conclusive answer.

Is Sinister Revenge meant to be MH or OH?

Is the 4pc t7 bonus actually worth getting? I have 5/5 t7.5, and am looking at what piece to replace, but I'm wondering if I should just replace the chest/gloves/pants and drop the 4pc. I mean, it takes what, 3 energy off each mut... is it really worth the decrease in stats that I take by not grabbing the best in slot gear instead?

Currently I'm dual wielding 2 LPC's as a Mutilate rogue. I just received a Twilight Mist from Grob. I can't seem to find a spreadsheet where it ranks Twilight Mist above Librarian's Paper Cutter. Should I even bother MHing the Twilight Mist?

I'm not if i'm right but i think that the FS dot does not get the spellpower bonus like ES. Wich cannot be ignored after we've got that much spellpower since lich king

I can't help noticing that no one really speaks about rotation macro's. How do the high dpsers (5,5k and more dps) that posted in this tread keep up their rotation?

I have been using this macro here:

But today I found out that Explosive Shot is used only about 2/3rd of the time it should be. Which costs me about 20% of dps. Ending me up in the 4300 dps area.

I also tried this macro, which made more sence to me, but here not a single Steady Shot was used:

Aha, so that tread tells me that manual shot weaving gives me a big advantage compaired to a macro. I never saw that tread before thanks for pointing it out.

Wow, I'm really embarrased to admit this, but I had neglected to train on the higher ranks or ES, Aimed and Stings. I knew something was not quite right, but figured I was just getting used to the new spec and shot rotations. Man, did my dps shoot up afte training. Guild had a good laugh. hahaha! Oops. Thanks for your confession alarge.
