I didn't sim your theory, but I did notice what appears to be a flaw. Is there any particular reason you didn't multiply the traditional rotation DC by 1.1? Also, with the rotation you have outlined, it looks like you'll be having diseases dropping a lot. You add 3 seconds to the 21 seconds of disease with epidemic, but have 3 global cooldowns to account for in those 3 seconds before reapplication is necessary and only one point in your rotation has the refresh timed for it. Unless I've read it wrong, but I don't believe I have. First glance at it makes me think it's unlikely to be superior to the normal rotation/spec.

Not going to try to make this a long winded post so I'll get right down to it. I have always been reluctant to gem pure haste because it's always been a very very minimal dps increase according to sim (barely 1 dps increase per haste gem replacing AP gem). However I finally obtained 4 piece t10 and I again was curious just how big of a difference haste vs AP gemming would make. So I changed all my red sockets to Stark, yellow sockets to Quick, and blue sockets which I just gemmed Bright before hand with Quick. I simmed this compared to my current setup and it yielded a 90 dps increase. Now my question is, is a 90 dps increase in sim actually worth trying it in game and will I see the results the sim is seeing?

I have a question.

How do you make a macro that will shoot whatever shot is available? Like...

Let's say I have Black Arrow, Aimed Shot, Concussive Shot, Serpent Sting or whatever and I want the macro to fire whichever ones are not on cool down? Like, just spam the macro :{

You can't.
You could use /castrandom x,y,z and press ist 50x per second, that would be an idea.

you guys might have not been keeping updated on the thread but the macro i posted allows you to clip arcane missiles and get the benefits of the 2pct10 buff on your arcane blast casted after clipping AM, i'm just used to spamming my blast key and that macro doesnt allow me to spam my blast key, if you didn't know about the macro you might consider using it because its definately a dps increase (if it works), i'm pretty sure it works i'm not taking credit for thinking it up, soemone else did i just wanted to see if there was a spamable alternative

i know nochanneling macros is a dps loss, but i'm not asking for a spammable arcane missile macro. i don't remeber how many pages back it is but the pushing the limit buff is currently bugged? or something but it doesnt get the benefit from the proc off the first arcane blast number, hopefully someone that understands what im getting at here can give me a useful post

Base RV% = 100/(100+crit)xcurrent RV%
T9 bonus% = crit/(100+crit)xcurrent RV%

What type of gear as a Combat Rogue should i go for?.
The item lvl 264 bought from a vendor? - or the new tier10 set bought inside icc?

And what is the deal with the new tier set, focusing on expertise? - Is that so important to us rogues?

I was wondering wether there was an exact breakeven for ap and haste or does it depend on your gear because those stats are both influenced in a different way by hit and crit ?
