I just started giving this build a bit of playtesting and I like it. Not sure I'll be able to justify it on 10mans though but its mana held up okay in 25s.

So heres my question. Having shed my T9 two-piece bonus, I went up to two points in Expose Weakness to make up for the fact that my Serpent tics no longer crit. My old spec didn't have ANYTHING in Improved Hawk so I'm shooting noticably faster now.

Would the extra shots from the Hawk talent be enough to create more hits (and, thus, crits) to justify going back down to just a single point in Expose or would I destroy my uptime? Crit chance now is huge when raid buffed but I feel like that pesky 33% proc chance....well, I'm a huge pessimist when it comes to those Murphy's Law styled talents.

On the other hand, the same logic made me think that a single point in Thrill of the Hunt would render the talent worthless. Both of these talents use the same chance on crit with the same 33% and Thrill didn't fail me at a single point.

I know to spreadsheet it and to use a proc monitor to see if a single point is as good as two. But I really feel like my whole view on the situation is somehow flawed and I'd really just like a second opinion.

I think it would be a good idea; even though you can bet on that question still being asked, to have a notice on the first page about the Ashen Verdict rings.

Can anyone suggest a place to learn how to tank dungeons at level 60 as a Death Knight?

I see a lot of talk about tanking at 80, but I can't find any good suggestions on rotations/specs/etc. for a beginning DK tank.

Is there proof of this? Like hard numbers somewhere? I'm asking for proof, I've seen different quotes simply stating that might is best, or vengeance is best, but never have I seen proof. I would like to have a definitive answer with numbers so the issue can be put to bed. Or if someone can tell me how I can provide proof via a spreadsheet, I would be happy to numbercrunch.

Run Rawr, Exemplar's spreadsheet, or Redcape's Spreadsheet and they all prove that the Agility ring is best (until stats change in 4.0), or SoV is the best Seal for raiding or whatever mechanics question you have.

So, does this mean that there is zero additional content planned for WotLK? I had sort of assumed this was the case, but am surprised its been confirmed. At the very least I was hoping to see what that enormous tail in Gundrak is connected to.

I was wondering if it's worth maintaining 2 pc 232 t9 over 264 offset items from ICC 25, any insight would be greatly appreciated.

That research that you've done would be very useful. Someone reading this thread would/should like to know what is the highest number Enhsim can output, and that includes choosing the best possible professions. How are for example gems any different than professions.

About race I think keeping it as a tauren would be ok, since the two factions can't choose freely from the 4 races and also there is monetary payment involved.

I have a question I didn't think I'd be asking because I thought I knew the answer. I got Shadow's Edge tonight and also have Bryntroll and was playin with the spreadsheet makin sure putting Shadow's Edge in my OH was the right thing to do. Apparently something has changed because the spreadsheet shows a slight(~13) dps improvement having Bryn in my OH and Shadow MH. Is it correct to use Bryn in your OH now? It almost seems like from a survivability standpoint alone you'd be better off with Bryn in your MH.

Edit: Obvious answer is get a Cryptmaker but I don't have one yet

Mavanas, not to seem too picky at the moment, because all the information here is incredibly helpful and appreciated, but do you have a non-heroic best-in-slot list?

We won't have HM available, to my guild at least, until next wipe. Yay for 20% LK wipes...
