Hello,
i got a question, my trinkets at the moment as blood dk are Death Verdict (245er) and Grandeur.
Overthinking, which will be the second trinket, what is better for blood dks, Deathbringers or Tiny abomination in a Jar?
I saw some bis lists, but tests of Tiny abomination here make me overthinking, can sombebody help?

The T10 2-set bonus basically turns a 15 energy "cost" into a 15 energy "gain" when we use TotT.

This boost makes it awkward at the start of any fight where a meter-focused rogue would be tempted to wait a few seconds after the pull to actually pop tricks, in order to actually gain the 15 energy.

I don't like this. I want to be able to use TotT the instant a fight starts, without "wasting" my 2-set bonus.

Additionally, now there's something in the patch notes that reduces the cost of TotT. Well, if you have the 2-set bonus (which any ICC raiding rogue has), then it's a worthless change.

Here's what I propose:

1. Change the T10 2-set bonus so it says something like "when you cast TotT, your next ability costs 30 less energy."

So.... it's the same energy "profit" for the set bonus... it still allows TotT to keep an energy cost, which can then be tinkered with talents/glyphs if they want... and it still allows us rogues to use TotT at the beginning of the fight (as we should) without wasting a set bonus!

It just seems more logical this way.

New Blue Post: World of Warcraft - English (NA) Forums -> Flame Shock change

The current (for us) Glyph of Flame Shock does something like let Flame Shock crit at 230% damage. We'll try to get a new patch note up soon. Whatever it ends up as will probably be some relatively simple damage buff to replace the old crit buff.

Hey guys just a armor pen question. Sorry if it has already been asked but if I'm sitting at 1k passive armor pen would do I really need the trinket to have me proc to over 100%? I'm really new to marksman so I really am kind of in over my head with these things.

Run a sim or 2 and look for yourself? It you can use the hit rating it would probably be an upgrade.

for me when i log in i have a message spell..... id ......... was disabled from blizzrd

and death coil make 0 dmg if u see on recount

blizz removed 2 effect from spell on ptr but dont know why

ofc u can cast dc but the effect is disabled

I am still unsure i have just picked up tiny abom normal mode and was just wondering is the 3% overall increase in damage with the hit still better than whispering fanged skull? Cuz i have a whispering fanged skull and wanted to know what i should do...

I don't if I missed it or just didn't look hard enough but I'm trying to find information on rotations, specs, stat weights and gemming options. Could I get a point in the right direction?

I'm new to MM as well, but if you can't use the spreadsheet or bother to read the first post in this thread, then just think about it for just one second. If you're over 1,000 ArPen without your trinket, and only need 1,400 to hit 100%, then you do something like subtract the amount of ArPen granted by your trinket from 1,400 to find out just how much ArPen you really need because anything over 100% is a waste of sockets.

So you have two choices: settle for 1K ArPen, drop the trinket, and get something that will give you a DPS increase, or start shaving ArPen from your passive setup.

I'm currently rolling as an affliction warlock and I cant get my mind around it if scale of fates or nevermelting ice crystal is the best to go with,I know the crit off NIC is good but the haste on use from scale is also a very good thing to have. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated

Hey, I've seen a couple of you guys talking about dropping Serendipity and rolling it over into Mental Agility. I tried searching and simply couldn't find math on MA vs Holy Concentration in a Renew/CoH/ProM heavy "rotation". Has anyone run any tests on the benefits of dropping to 2/3 HC in light of 3/3 MA? Would look something like this

I've skimmed through just about every page, tweaked M3Faster and such, all drivers are updated, etc.

Should I get another video card and run SLI?

Maybe upgrading to Windows 7 will help?

Are there any tweaks I missed?

I really don't know what to do.

You should most definitely be getting a much higher FPS than that, I get higher than that and I have a one and a half year old computer. I'd recommend posting your DxDiag as well as posting any programs you have running in your background, if you don't know how to check what's running in the background post back and I'll explain how.
