I've tried to browse through and find the answer to my question, and have not seen it anywhere (don't have time to look through 107 pages) and due to the character restriction in the search tool I'm not able to find what i'm looking for so I'll just ask.
Is 4 Piece Tier 9 bonus worth trying to achieve, when there are better non tier 10 items out there (I'm in a small guild and we don't do ICC yet) Should i strive for that last piece of Tier 9, or start working on tanking gear.
Thanks

Hey,
Just curious, as i have been having some mana troubles on LK. I always thought that rapture had an internal cooldown and if say, all 20 shields are broken at once, you still get the benefit of only one rapture effect(1 x 2.5% instead of 20 x 2.5% total mana). Is my assumption wrong?

If 20 shields are popped all at once then you gain Rapture for all 20 shields. If 20 shields are popped once a second for 20 seconds you will only gain the benefit of the first and the 15th.
In other words, the internal cooldown applies, but the effect can be multiplied if multiple shields are broken in tandem.
(I believe it is a 15sec ICD, please correct me if that is wrong.)

Yes, your assumption is wrong.
YouTube - Discipline Priest - Rapture Trick (HD)
This describes it very well.
The thing with Infest on LK is that it doesn't do enough damage to make your shield fully absorb. So, you won't even procc rapture once. If you don't override any, you will though have shields going off at the same time next infest, and you will get more then one rapture procc.

[Enchant 2H weapon - Scourgebane] in ICC
An overview on which fights Scourgebane (140 AP against Undead) is a good upgrade from Massacre (110 AP flat):
Lord Marrowgar: both boss and bonespikes are classified as undead. Clear dps increase.
Lady Deathwhisper: the boss is undead, and my guess is that it also affects her mana shield. Haven't confirmed this though. Most of her adds are humanoids, except from the reanimated ones. On normal mode, if you have two weapons available, I recommend switching after her shield is down.
Gunship Battle: all humanoids, bad enchant.
Deathbringer Saurfang: boss is undead, but the Blood Beasts are classified as beasts. Overall I feel this provides an upgrade on damage done.
Festergut: boss is undead, clear dps increase.
Rotface: the Oozes are uncategorized, but they're not dps-ed anyway. The boss is undead, this enchant provides a clear dps increase.
Professor Putricide: the Volatile Oozes and Gas Clouds are uncategorized, but the boss is undead. If your raid has trouble killing them fast enough, you'd want to use Massacre. Otherwise, Scourgebane provides an overall dps increase, especially in phase 3, with the soft enrage.
Blood Prince Council: the Kinetic Bomb is uncategorized, so if you're the ball juggler, don't use this enchant. Otherwise, it's a dps increase, as all bosses are undead.
Blood-Queen Lana'thel: boss is undead, there are no adds, clear dps increase.
Valithria Dreamwalker: the boss is a dragonkin, but as you don't dps her, this doesn't matter. All the adds are undead, so this enchant provides a clear dps increase.
Sindragosa: the boss is undead, but the frost tombs are uncategorized. My (10-man) logs show that less then 20% of all damage done in this fight is against frost tombs, the rest is on the boss. These numbers, together with the fact that in my opinion hunters aren't the most effective dps against frost tombs, makes me think that this enchant is a decent dps increase on this fight.
The Lich King: every creature in this fight except Ice Spheres is undead. A clear dps increase.
I think I've done my homework well, but if you have any evidence to show I'm wrong, please make a comment.

Heroic Bryntoll or Heroic Cryptmaker? Assuming Orc DK, Unholy ofc. Not counting Lich King 25 heroic (on 10 and 25m) and legendary loot.

Infest cooldown is 25 seconds so most of the shields will have faded by the next infest. Downranking PW:S seems to be an exellent way to gain infinite mana tho. Thanks.

Managing Hit
Hi ---- I'm way over the hit cap as is, and when I pick up my T10 shoulder later tonight and equip [Plaguebringer's Stained Pants] (the normal 25), it will get even worse. Given my available gear, I'm still gaining DPS.
Is it advisable to move points from Arcane Focus to Arcane Stability to shed some hit? How does that influence mana?

Rotations
As an Elemental Shaman im having a difficulty in what spell rotation i should use. My gear is pretty decent and I am hit capped. My WoW armory page is The World of Warcraft Armory - Gandala @ Eredar - Profile im decently geared(I only have T10 Resto legs(Sanctified 264's) because they dropped in Vault of Achavon 25man and were better than my previous legs(which were the 245's from Trial of the Crusader 25man, which are healing anyway lol)). I can hit up to 6.5k on a target dummy(unbuffed just my totems) but when i get into a raid i can only pull 4.6k(buffed totems and all). Waht am i doing wrong? My current spell rotation(4 spell rotation) is FS, CH LvB LB LB CH LB LB CH LvB and repeated.
FS=Flame Shock, CH=Chain lightning, LvB=Lavaburst, LB=Lightning Bolt

The AP bonus from Scourgebane doesn't transfer to your pet. Spreadsheet still recommends Massacre.

Switched out my Tier10 Gloves until I can obtain my next piece of Tier10 but is T9 really worth switching out better gear for another 5% crit chance?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this - I'm new here.
I'm currently debugging my 10-man ICC raid (normal modes). We're a pretty casual bunch, and having quite the trouble - we have yet to down Saurfang.
One of my raiders is a shadow priest. I'm trying to work with her on her gear. I noticed that she has a lot of +mp5 gear. Now, as I understand it DPS casters shouldn't bother with mp5 gear because they have talents, abilities, etc that allow them to regain mana. In the case of the shadow priest, it would seem that ability is Dispersion + the Glyph of Dispersion, which would seem to allow 36% mana regen every 1:15 seconds.
She's currently loaded up with mp5 gear; when I pointed that out she said it's because without it she goes OOM. I'm assuming that I'm just misunderstanding the mechanics of the class and that it's reasonable for her to have lots of MP5 gear, but I wanted to be sure.
If I'm not wrong - can I correctly tell her that replacing the +mp5 gear with more DPS focused gear would give her an increase in damage even if she spends 6 seconds every 1:15 casting Dispersion?.

I was just on the PTR using 2 fast tanking weapons in a 5 man. All I had to do was IT, IT, BS, BS, PS, PS---- IT IT IT IT, PS, PS and I had well over 10k threat on a single target. It wont matter what weapons you're using if they keep it as it is, spamming IT will be the best threat.
Problem is, it makes it so casting obliterate isnt worthwhile at all, so rime talent is wasted on a single target.
