As for the people wondering why hit/exp becomes more valuable more often than not in the end game gear is because you've reached your current crit cap, so simulations like rawr and probably Mr.robot will tell you to gain more hit or exp. This will expand your crit cap little by little until you reach a true hard hit cap which is i believe 75% or so. Notice how as soon as you add a hit/exp gem in, Agility gems become more valuable again. This is because once you are arp capped/soft crit capped the next best thing would be either hit/expertise or haste and when you gain hit/exp you allow for more crit unless you've already reached the hard crit cap.
as i see in your BiS list u choosed haste rating on your cape becase when u crit cap agi looses a bit of its value but at that point isnt bezerker a better weapon echant again ?
Finally reached the Armor pen cap the other night and soon some of my gear upgrades will push me even further over the cap so I can start replacing Armor Pen gems.
My question is..other than matching yellow socket's with either str/hit or str/crit based on what I need. Should I start replacing the 20arp gems with 20str or crit/str? Should i start going for socket bonuses like 4agi or ignore those?
Not to be curt but this is really a spread sheet question. I find the general rule of thumb is after you get your ArP cap you start picking up socket bonuses that use yellows in order of value (so +6str > +4str > 4agi). If you have all those filled and still are >20 over arp cap, then you can start moving 20 arps to 20 strs.
Not sure if this has been discussed and I'm just missing it or not.
For DRW, does it benefit from its own diseases being on the target? If so, is it enough to spend 2 GCDs on a new IT an PS? I'm guessing it would also matter between GoD and GoDD builds since GoD would usually be using one rune to refresh.
Iam testing now arp gemmed and have in total 767 arp rating.
Bud there isnt changed much got the feeling even lost some dps ;p.
My stats are as follows
5165 attack power
278 hit rating
This is the results atm i got from the gear i could get.
I wil get soon Legplates of painfull dead and wil gem them to fully arp.
I know the more i get arp the better it is but at what point should i keep attack power on,5000 ap?
Heres my armory http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sh...awn&cn=Treflex
In case someone is interested here's the arc BIS hm list i get for jc/engee. Dislodged being modeled as mentioned some posts before. Interestingly in contrast to the normal mode list the set legs become bis. The alternative combo of gunship captains mittens and death surgeons sleeves is only 17 dps behind so one might as well pick up these two.
Out of curiosity, I haven't been boomkin since they changed Eclipse (again) to have a CD between procs. Has much changed in the dps rotation, or is it pretty much still MF/IS, wrath till eclipse, SF till eclipse, rinse and repeat. Applying dots as they fall, and throwing in trees and Starfall when they're off CD.
ok on the 15/54/2 why the 2 in virulance? I never miss with my spells thats 1 thing and the other is I never see a mob dispell. What I was thinking is why not take 2 pts in virulance and put them in death rune mastery? I dont know if this would be a bad thing this would allow u to build death runes in all 3 slots blood/frost and unholy based on your strikes this could help you get more strikes/attacks out. I am I missing something?
Radicool i like your compilation, but after tinkering on my own for a bit i cant seem to get rid of the box surrounding your skills and what i believe to be Cool Line. Could you maybe help me and tell me how to disable that box or what addion it is
ony loot was itemized poorly for rogues. Unless you ere combat (Bloodfang Helm) there really wasnt any of use to you in there if you were/are in an end game guild. Ruby Sanctum might be the same way, who knows.
