I have all gear from normal plate BiS list, except Tiny abomination trinket (and SM ofc =). Is this a good choice to get over hit cap using Mark of Supremacy trinket (50 emblems of triumph) ?

Now I have DMC:G and Whispering Fanged Skull trinkets.

Playing around with PTR tests (may not be entirely accurate due to having to use workarounds for the icy talons refresh bug) I'm getting DW Frost > 2h Unholy with 2h Frost being close behind that. No, that latter portion is not a joke. For the sake of space, I'm just posting the end DPS values instead of 4 giant tables, could always be posted later or people could run the tests themselves.

From Kahorie's Sim with my current stats (mostly ICC gear, armory may currently show me in my T9 set):

DW Frost 0/53/18
DPS: 10426

2H Frost 7/51/13
DPS: 9626

2H Unholy 12/0/59
DPS: 9719

2H Unholy 0/17/54
DPS: 9745

I get the feeling the DW Frost is a bit inflated, but it's hard to say right now. The sim seems to do some strange things in terms of DW weapon scaling. 2H Frost is using an obviously experimental build and GoD, there's probably better optimizations there that could result in slightly higher DPS. Not bad though for a spec declared officially dead by Blizzard.

I played around a little bit with enhancement and i have to say nice work.
I am in the office and can check items, dps etc this is very nice

But the are some differences to EnhSim in the output.

Ive been running long time with low expertise now but since i've got a "superior" gear as i like to think ;-) i've started to think should i even start geming some expertise with next item changes?

As you can see my gear from armory i've been thinking next change to items:

I've had the Polar Bear Claw Bracers in backpack for some time waiting for use and now i've got enough frosts to buy the Castle Breaker's Battleplate. If i change the Gendarme's Guirass to Castle Breaker's Battleplate and the Polar Bear Claw Bracers in use I will reach ARP hardcap easily and can even gem some strength or expertise what ever...?

I've noticed that with good buffs in 25man raid I'm around 9000DPS now.

No that trinket is really bad. It would probably be better to use the T10 gloves + hit gem/enchant if you still need hit. Even the t9 gloves would work if you don't want to spend frost badges on T10. But as with all these kinds of questions use Rawr or a spreadsheet will give you the best answer.

Question about t10 4peice compared to the 264 item level gear...

According to sites like Shadowpanther... that 264 chest and waist are some of the best gear in the game, except for some hard mode loot. I have 161 badges of frost saved up, and already have my 2 peice (shoulders and legs), and I am wondering if I should spend that on the waist (currently have 251 icc10 lady deathwhisper belt) and chest (245 chest)

or if I should buy the 251 chest and head t10 peice and get my 4 piece bonus.

Doesn't depend really, MH bryntroll and OH dual blade butcher.
The off hand is merely a lovely stat stick, hence why agility swords such as QD or Reckoning/edge of agony are considered as some of the best off hands.

Weapon dmg would be afflicted by both OH penalty and TG's 10% so the weapon damage and the low proc aren't making up for the loss of stats affecting main hand such as ArP or crit.

OK, I have a noob question here (a few as a matter of fact)

By default im a arcane mage, but I was wondering if it might actuelly be beneficial to use fire in any of the first 6 bosses in ICC. Thats how far i've gotten so far. Any opinions.

My second question has to do with my arcane spec.

I spent a point on the slow talent, but I kinda miss the 3 yards range I lost from moving a point from magic attunement. I pretty much only use the slow talent on saurfang. Is the talent useful on more fights, with out me noticing? If it really only have its use on saurfang it hardly seems worth it with earthbind totems and hunter frost etc.

What is you opinions on these question? Thx in advance

Oh yeah, is there some addon that can help me take off Ice Block, I constantly click off some buff because I miss-click.

I was recently asked to switch to arms from fury for a trial (they already had a fury warrior) I thought, heck how hard can it be, it's just another rotation and with some practice I'll master that as I've done fury. But it seems I'm banging my head bloody against a wall here.

I've read this thread, I've run the spread (and rawr), I've spent hours in heroics and on the dummy. My rotation os the basic, keep rend up, MS > SD > TB with slam in between but I can't squeeze any dps out of it. Single target standing still in 25 man I can push about 7.1 - 7.5, that's about what I did as fury only difference is I now raised my gear from average ilvl 240 to ilvl 255 (exp capped, hit capped, soft arp capped for the needle) (Atm in armory I have the wrong bracers, usually have the titan crafted totc). Is arms that inferior or what am I missing?

also, as soon as there is some movement involved I drop 1-2k quickly. Yesterday on LK 25 man normal I had a hard hard time getting over 6k (I was keeping sunders up as well then though). Landsouls spread says 8.5k, I'm no where near that and dps is really crap when moving. What am I missing, please advise..

(and I pull about 4.8k on the dummy selfbuffed over 5-6minutes)

In case you missed it, Ferocious Inspiration will drop the arcane boost and instead buff steady shot.

FI buffs Steady Shot in addition to Arcane Shot.
