I have read the last couple of pages in this forum and am not clear on something. Should I pursue all 4 pieces of the t10 raiding gear or is just 2 ok? Or if I cant get all 4 stay away from it? Any help would be appreciated....

Hello there,

Im new to this website/forum, and its rlly interesting!
I have some problems healing ith my disc priest(5.1K gs)... We raid ICC10 and the first 4 bosses are peanuts. But then we get to Festergut and everytime we make an attempt... FAIL. We have had some ppl in our raids who are much more experienced and they also say its the healing thats lacking. We have a resto druid in the raid who outheals me so bad. He heals over double of what I heal... And yes, I know he does AOE heals and I do singletarget heals. But still I think I should be getting more then just 3K healing in a 10m...
I dont know how to link my armory, but you can heck my p: lvl 80 Human feamle Priest on Ragnaros. Maybe you guy have some tips on to change gear/gems/glyphs/enchants. Every tip is welcome if it may improve my healing...

Zeherah's Hunter DPS Analyzer is a prime example of how this sort of spreadsheet can be turned into a web based form. It's truly awesome... You can play with it anywhere, even on your iPhone (on any web compatible platform).

Is there any chance you could move this spreadsheet to a web based form too?

Whilst a web based DPS simulation sheet is good. It simply cannot attain the same level of accuracy as Landsoul's sheet.
Also the Import armory function is quite nice as you can compare yourself to others, or rate others very easily.

so i have a quick question, currently i have 3275 SP, 40% crit and 985 haste.
I was wondering at which point if any crit > haste. Assuming a there is hero + shammy totem + 4p t10 proc + IV my AB gets under a 1 sec cast time. My gear has room for improvement because i can still upgrade my boots to Plague scientists boots my cloak to either the one on sindragose or saurfang and dislodged forieng object. I guess what im getting at is when should i stop prioritizing haste. For instance if the trinket off sindragosa drops like 150ish crit n 920sp proc is there a point where that is better than dislodged foreign object?

It's covered a couple of times in this thread, but the best way to handle this is to not use IV while bloodlust is up, by de-syncing it from your other cooldowns. As far as your example goes, that sindragosa trinket only procs on periodic damage (DoTs) and will never proc for arcane.

The web based version I pointed you to is identical to the original spreadsheet version, as far as I know...

Have you actually had a look at what the hunter one does? There is an import from armoury function inbuilt. You can choose which spec you want etc. Again, as far as I know, it's a perfect copy of what used to be done by spreadsheet for hunters, done on the web instead.

What is so magical about a spreadsheet that cannot be done identically by taking input from a web interface instead?

It's not superior to the Agility ring.

On the topic of weapon enchants

Why is Rawr showing Mongoose as a 179 DPS increase over Berserk when already crit capped? I don't understand the logic behind this. Is it due to different proc ratios?

Have to admit this is my worry to. I was really getting into the Pen/FH weaving that we got and this chnage as I'm a MT healing disc priest way more than raid really makes me go meh.

I don't understand why they are changing it, unless they feel it requires too much micromanagement? It is now a very boring flat bonus that feels much more like a set2 than a set4.

They could have easily done somethign with PI (When you PI someone, you get it yourself to) or PWS (when you heal a target with weakened soul on them there is a 20% chance to cast a fh on the nearest target on low life) etc etc.

This bonus just doesn't feel set4.

Addendum: Our holyPs are disappointed to they hate renew spam, to quote 'If I wanted to be a hotbot, I'd have rolled druid'

It's most likely because of the 2% extra attack speed.
