UB is essentially 10% DC damage for one point. It's twice as good per point than Morbidity on single-target, and should math out to be at least 1% of your total damage.

It's a shadow of it's former self, but it's still worth the point spent.

Why do you think this is the case? Unholy Blight provides 10% of your death coil damage and new applications stack with already existing applications. The only damage lost is whatever has yet to tick when the target dies. You might see a good chunk of lost UB damage on small trash mobs, but on bosses it will be negligible.

So, im a first time poster on the DW Frost DK forums, been Frost since 3.3 hit and am trying to see if any of the better players can see a fault in my gearing and DPS #'s that im putting up with the gear I have.

Is Heroic Fury really worth it for Fury in PvE? I can't think of many times in ICC where it would be useful. Wouldn't the point be better spent somewhere else, like in Imp. Bloodrage or Imp. Berserker Rage? Or alternatively, if your raid setup needs Booming Voice/Commanding Presence, you could get 2/2 and 5/5 respectively and drop Heroic Fury to keep 3/3 in Imp. Cleave. I just don't see the point in wasting a talent point in Heroic Fury when it doesn't seem to do much.

I've been trying to find more info on this matter, but have as of yet come up a blank. Currently I have enchanting and herbalism on my warlock and I'm looking to change herbalism to either Tailoring or Engineering. I play mainly PvE and currently as afflic. Simcraft shows quite a big drop in dps when I change greater spell power on gloves to hyperspeed accelerators which to me seemed odd and wondered if anyone could shed some light on this matter?

23 haste on cloak + tuskars on boots + 28 SP on gloves.

-or-

27 SP on cloak + nitro on boots + hyperspeed accelerators on gloves.

If there's any help anyone could offer it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

i don't under stand for the raiding part of the game while the mental agility is not better in the cookie cutter spec then the spirit trap

I see it as that when your in the new icc raids that there's often just the one boss really to dps and kill i dont find that other add to kill that often to make up for the loss of instant cast reduce mana from the mental agility

can some one help ?

Imp ST isn't picked up for regen because it's simply not needed at this point in the game. It's picked up because it increases DPS. Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft would be something like what you're talking about I'm assuming.

Yeah, it's basically that you're loosing a DPS increasing talent to pick up a marginal regen talent. That's no good for maxing DPS.

I'm playing to WoW since 5 months, so i'm not very experimented but i've read & tested a lot of things.

I've some questions about bonus sets and best trinkets for the SV hunter.

I've already do some research, and some guys said for example 2t9 + 2t10 > 4t10. Does it right ? I've read on a forum, probably here bonus on t9 chaman has been decreased and it'll be probably the same way for bonus on t9 hunter.
I've never got 2t9, just 2t10 since some days and i've seen my dps up to 4/500. So, what is the best compromise about it according to your experiments ?

And for best trinkets, i'm think Death's Choice still one of them like the "new" ICC trinket Deathbringer's Will. Am I wrong ?

Whether 2t9 + 2t10 > 4t10 is very dependent on the pieces involved in your T9 and T10 sets. With higher ilevel T9 pieces you'll need better T10 pieces to justify switching bonuses. It's best to test your gear on FemaleDwarf.com or the spreadsheet to see when it makes sense for you to transition. In general for SV specs though, the margin required to make 4pc T10 better is much lower than it is for MM.

If you never got 2t9 at all then you probably just want to go straight to 4pc T10, however if you will be awhile saving up the emblems for it, and you have extra triumph emblems, you may be best off temporarily picking up T9 for 2 of your offset slots (usually pants and helm), depending on if it spreadsheets out to a dps increase for you.

Death's Choice performs much more favorably for SV than MM, but Deathbringer's Will is still a strong trinket for SV spec. However if you get a Deathbringer's Will you may have good enough gear at that point that MM may perform better for you. To get a rough idea of comparative trinket dps use femaledwarf or the spreadsheet.

I don't really like the MM spec, but i've juste test it with a low stuff so i can't really have a good judgement on it. I think i'll try MM spec but not before to get more Arpen (735 to be soft cap with Mjolnir trinket) and more stuff 264(+)
My guild is recent so we still far away from ilevel 258 (25hm) or 277 ^^

Whenever, thanks for your answer. I'll do this comparisons. I've already used the spreadsheet and femaledwarf.com but i've always tested my stuff only and i've never changed to see dps gain and others, that was a mistake

im running aflic too and my current scalefactors are: sp = 1, crit = 0,81, haste = 0,88

23*0,88 (cloak) + 28*1 (gloves) = 28,24
27*1 (cloak) + 24*0,81 (boots) + 340*12/60*0,88 (gloves) = 106,28 | engineering

Of course tuskarr's increases dps in many bossfights slighlty, but definitely not that much, especially if u
consider the use of boots.

I might have missed it, but anyone get a chance to test the abomb jar out much?
