I have not done any math/spreadsheet work for what im questioning so please dont blast me for voicing this opinion.
In the spec
17/0/54 without Reaping
Following the same spec changing a few points for what i see as more single target than the current posted specs can achieve.
That is what i run on my DK, taking 3 points from dark conviction and placing them in morbidity, taking out glyph of icy touch and replacing it with glyph of scourge strike.
Giving me the extra scourge strikes that reaping would, without taking reaping.
Also giving me 30% extra damage from death coil, instead of just 15%.
A lot of the fights blizzard has given us through wotlk have been some type of aoe fights. I see where the glyph of icy touch comes in... I just dont see it being worth taking on a single target spec.
Again, have not done math/spreadsheet work, so im not saying any of this is fully accurate or saying anyone else is wrong.
Mainly looking for thoughts and or reasons for why i could be wrong.
Can anyone please confirm or denie if survival hunter is able to interrupt add in frostmourne on LK at phase 3??
I was playing with mm and interrupt that add with silencing shot.
Its strange that they made mechanic only for MM and BM but not for Survival:
I was not able to find a way to interrupt but I was able to just burst dps past it on 10 man. I haven't gotten to that point on 25 so I'm not sure if it's a problem there.
We dont have any feral druids and we already have 1 to 2 fury warrior in raid, so i raid and optimized my gear for arms.
I would like to mention something, the war arms threat is just ridiculously too high. Having threat spikes at 10k tps is just unnacceptable. It isnt so much of an issue in 25 man where u can chain salves or threat reducing abilities, but in 10 man it is a real problem with dk or druid tanks. Arms has to stop in order not to take threat.
Blizzard says that they want to balance all specs, but from that point of view arms isnt balanced at all.
Arms pull so much threat in heroics that we can even tank them(just on threat).
The only fight where we really beneficiate from arms cd is on lich king or maybe sindragosa.
Just wanted to express my point of view concerning that issue.
I'm not sure if this was answered earlier in the thread (been trying to sift through it) but I have been seeing some people swear to not using the T10, T9 combo and instead using only the T9 4p bonus for the blood plauge crits untill they can have the T10 4p. I was just wondering if the T9 4p is accually the best way to do it.
With a blood build and always having those 1-2 floater points that never seem well-spent, I think post IT buff I'll be using this spec (I miss the human racial on my new Orc DK tank). 53/11/7
(we always have an Enh shaman so Abom's Might isn't needed).
is blood still viable anyway i'm having 90.43% arp as blood atm.
and notice some issues.
for starters my dps opens up high then drops down real fast.
i'm using deathstrike priority + max 2 death runes up at all times while spamming heartstrikes.
my deathcoils hit verry low so i mostly dont even bother at all.
my sigil of the hanged man often vanishes before i can even deathstrike in non movement non switch fight.
also notice i have like no dump or barely any runic dump time as blood since 3.3.
i was unholy for long time till i could gem 90% arp.
