Well i took a 3 month break from the game and when i went back into ZG for the first time a few weeks ago, my first couple of Thekal pulls went bad as well. I can't pinpoint exactly what was going wrong, but i made a couple of simple changes to what i was doing and i haven't had a single bad pull since. All i do is:

1) Leave pet under the back part of the first arch heading into the area. Make sure he's set to passive.
2) MD pet and run into maximum range of Thekal.
3) Hit your auto-attack and let it fire twice.
4) By the second auto-shot Thekal and his gang should be almost on top of you (if you don't have Hawk Eye). Feign Death.

I need serious help with my Dps. The World of Warcraft Armory - Shilock @ Bladefist - Profile according to latest spreadsheet i should be doing somewhere around 8500, but never sniffed that. I have done my homework, read countless number of threads and still cannot seem to grasp what im doing wrong.

Take latest Saurfang 10man, Tot the tank then bring up a 2/3 SnD, KS, build to eviscerate, pop trinkets and AR early if BL is not going to be used till later in the fight and stack eviscerate while watching SnD CD. Using BF and KS of course before beasts appear. I still only manage to be around 5800 by the time the fight is over.

In addition, can someone please explain pooling energy a little more, is that to say stop spamming SS and let my energy bar build back up? I have talked with elite combat spec in game and they all say the same thing, just keep SnD up and build my eviscerate.

Hey, did you mean to put [Shadowvault Slayer's Cloak] into the "Plate Items from Heroic Modes" instead of [Winding Sheet]?

And I thought that since the addition of the strength rings from Ashen Verdict that it was a better choice for us than the agility one.

Has anyone figured out what the new cookie cutter frost DW spec will be? Perhaps one with and without revitalizing druid in the pocket?

I am at my wits end here. Normally I can figure out what I am doing wrong and make the needed correction, however no matter what I change, my DPS stays the same. Am I just expecting to much out of myself or is there something I am just overlooking in my spec/rotation?

In the WOL Link above I am pushing about 8k. I was doing 8.5k as blood in 4pcT9 when ICC first came out. (25man)

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, sorry for the frustration in my post, but this is just driving me nuts.

My grid map icon got accidentally move to almost directly over the wow map icon for exploration (find herbs, find minerals, repair, etc.).

For the life of me I can't figure out how to move the grid map icon (or even use it) now. Any suggestions?

You should not use it in your regular rotation.

(However, nothing says you can't use it as a filler while on the run if you have nothing 'better' to do (e.g.: a Conflag, backlashed Incin, LT, or damage curse).)

So with spirit taking such a hit in T10/ICC gear, should I be gemming my blue slots with Runed Cardinals instead of Purified Dreadstones? Outside activating a meta of course. It seems like it would make more sense, especially with 3.3.3 basing LTs off SP vs spirit.

4/5 Killing Machine because we won't be able to keep up with 5/5
1/2 CotG because someone earlier did the math and found out that 2/2 is overkill, 0/2 doesn't generate enough
3/5 BI sacrificing the points to max out BCB since it's scaling will be much better
1/3 Subversion for the crit increase since we'll be able to fit in another Obliterate every rotation

That too off? Sounds somewhat reasonable to me but wasn't sure what everyone else thought.

I was messing around as Resto today, my normal spec, when I realised that all of my gear is haste/crit... So let's go Elemental. Anyway, I was hitting a target dummy (boss of course) and realised Searing Totem doesn't hit it. So, my question:

How much of a DPS increase is Searing totem for an Elemental Shaman, and how much of an increase would "all raid buffs" be for an Elemental Shaman? I pulled off 7.1k DPS on the dummy using ToW, and having a Spriest keep up Misery (for hit cap). I'd like to know the numbers I could achieve in a 10, or 25, with "the best possible" caster setup.

Ok, my question is , is there a way to add gear that has not been added to the gear lists? For instance I have the t9 chest piece, but it doesn't show up in the list of available gear. I also have the Needle Encrusted Scarab as one of my trinkets, but this does not show either so how can I do comparisons on the gear I have to gear I may get with out it actually being in the list of possible gear? I am sorry if this has been asked and answered.
