I love my UI. I think it´s awesome for a Rogue (actually, for any dd) as you see the health of the raid or things like BQL-Bite Targets etc. (and you don´t need anything else that takes up space as a rogue imo).

What I don´t like about the UI on the frontpage is simply the layout... and I wouldn´t like to have my Fok/or dmg in general be parted into "groups" as you can´t even see who you´re hitting with it that way.

With the changes coming to improved Icy Talons, I'm thinking about trying a frost build that gives up some threat talents in blood in exchange for iit. Something like http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?deat...j,Ywae3-,11159. Has anyone tried tanking with iit on the ptr?

Why is this 4t10 discussion popping up again and again?
We have seen plenty of raid logs now which show 4t10 doing somewhere between 5% to 10% effective healing. This is absolutely insane and the best set bonus we ever had. The only way 4t9 can even come close to this would be in full crit gear but we know that haste is superior to crit and we simply can't go without the spirit for sustainability.
There is also no way to ever get that much healing out of non-set pieces. 4t10 is awesome and there is nothing better.

You will find almost nothing on PvP here, since EJ focusses on PvE mainly.

I read back over the last few pages, from the first mention of t10, and couldn't see this answered, so here goes:

In the Spell Info, Rawr shows AB4 as about 500 less DPS than AB04MBAM. Is this because I have two pieces of T10? If it is, then does that mean that AB spam is lower DPS than using MB procs, even in burn phases? Or does Rawr not account for the ramp-up time of building the AB stack up again, and I should just stick to spamming AB?

One more thing to consider is this...

When is your DPS most important? This is a very personalized idea.

Do you need to plan for the Marrowgar fight? Do you really need to squeeze out more DPS in that fight? How about Blood Council?

I personally adapt my build based around the current content my guild is "stuck" on.

For example, if you are stuck on BQL, you know a few very specific things about this fight...

Single target, little movement, lots of healing.

I personally drop rend/cleave glyphs for a BT glyph to help out the healers a bit. I know I won't need Heroic Fury for this fight, nor piercing howl.

Now, if you aren't in a static guild, you will want to be as "universally good" as possible, which might mean having a ton of glyphs ready to hot swap. A stack of Rending glyphs for single target fights, a glyph of Cleaving for 3+ target fights, and maybe a glyph of BloodThirst for those crazy fights where healing is intense.

I would also either get rid of the 'charge' glyph and put command there, or have a stack of command and battle so you can swap based on the group buffs avail.

Chaos Bolt costs 242 mana and Incinerate 485 mana and Chaos Bolt does more damage per execution. So even if your Chaos Bolt's cast time goes below GCD (during Bloodlust), it is still more mana efficient and has higher DPET than Incinerate. If you drop Chaos Bolt, you could get 1% hit, Soul Link, Shadow Fury or some extra range / threat reduction. I haven't simulated these changes but I don't think any of those is better than getting Chaos Bolt and using it in your rotation.

Can backdraft effectively make the gcd as low as .7 seconds or does the 1 second minimum gcd overule that?

Could I get you pros to look my spec over and give suggestions? I'm just really not happy with my dps. just added the chest piece, legs, and war token with almost no increase at all. I know I need some more expertise but still I feel I should be doing more in dps. So far 7.9k is the best I've seen. Average more like 5.6k.

Hello Magies , i have recently dusted off my alt mage and came for some advice, i played my mage for awhile from naxx until the beginning of ToC, then i rerolled a druid. Now what i was wondering is if there are any real discussions about the fireball TTW spec, i played this during ulduar and loved it but has slowly been thrown off the charts. i do not enjoy playing arcane so i would rather not go that route. what i'm really looking for is a good area to find some general information for fire as in stat preferences for gear choices. now i'm only on lunch break so i could go through all these threads as i am sure there is plenty of information around here.

I also think fire is a very strong spec for certain fights in ICC, it surely isn't ToC
