One trinket that has crossed my mind for my shaman (link as I post here on my hunter: The World of Warcraft Armory) is [Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon]
The proc rate at level 80 remains unchanged and the effect obviously scales with your gear. I plan on trying to pick up the cards from the AH this weekend to test it (of course I'll post the results), but I'm curious if anyone knows if could potentially proc off each bounce of chain heal? If so that could make it potentially very powerful; each cast of chain heal could theoretically have an 8% chance (glyphed) of returning ~2,100 mana (assuming ~700mp5 raid buffed).

My post on the Test board was basically asking them to try and clarify what they intended to do with DRW, and that they were making it difficult for us to give them any valuable feedback because of how buggy it has been recently with the skill and the tooltip indicating different values and being changed almost every patch.
Instead, I'm sure one of their moderators just saw "DRW" in the title, knew it was on the Known Issues list and Chris Brown'd it because of that.
Oh well, c'est la vie.
What I don't want to happen is for them to slip in some bad DRW changes at the end of 3.1 testing, like where we are now, and for them to turn around and say "Hey, this was on the PTR you could have given us some feedback on it but didn't."
I guess it's easier to just delete posts rather than actually address the issue. Unfortunately that is often the Blizzard way.

It looks to me that 3.1 is quite a nerf for Shamans compared to other DPS classes (pure and hybrid). Nerf by omission that is. At the moment on the Live servers for a good shaman it is possible to be in the top 3 dps, however on the PTR we are now in the lower middle of the pack. Our dps seems to have remain stationary while others (including other hybrids) have moved way ahead (7k - 8k dps).
here are a couple of parses to show what I mean

Wow Web Stats
Please make sure you post on the PTR & Damage Dealing forums and pray that some dev takes pity.
Also at the risk of an infraction, I blame this partly on the attitude displayed by some shamans on these forums. It is all this talk of "dps neutral buffs", "oh this new gift is soo overbudget, please please cut us down somewhere else", "change this mechanic so that it happens more often but does less".
Why do you guys tiptoe, cower and grovel like this? Of course any dev reading will get complacent. And so now congrats thanks to you all, the devs took your advice and 3.1 is going to be so dps neutral that shamans will be the shining beacon of mediocrity.

Darn...i really dont agree with the change in MoM talent...not "stacking" with OB anymore will wreck the OB -> OB -> HSx2 -> RC Dump rotation...
Maybe i'll try this build and adding, somehow, a DS in : \

This macro is a little better
/castsequence reset=target Hunter's Mark,Serpent Sting,null
/castsequence reset=target Arcane Shot,Chimera Shot,Aimed Shot,Steady Shot,Arcane Shot,Steady shot,Chimera Shot,Aimed Shot,Arcane Shot,Steady Shot,Steady Shot
Every 2nd Chimera shot will be fired 1.5 seconds after its up though, best I could get it

Ok I've been reading alot of post the last week or so. I just want to know if someone can post something from the post up so far which spec at this point is pushing the most DW, or 2H spec. Also what is the spec your using and the rotation you are using the one i've seen good is somethin like 0/27/43 DW, in unholy presence and rotation goes something like PS<IT<PS<IT<BB<BB<UB, then PS<IT<IT<IT<IT<DC dump, not sure if this spec is any good anymore on the PTR or if its the best one. I just want someone to put up a post saying what spec is the best so far on the PTR and the rotation there using, Glyph's, exe. thank you.

Hai guys
heya, im atm rated 2230 ~ in 2v2 bracket with a disc priest / enhance setup. as highest we've been at 2300.
i don't feel like writing a wall of text as some u have, but if anyone have any questions i can do my best to answer them.
i have to agree with some of you writing that flametounge should be converted into a pvp buff with an ms effect or similiar but saying that our dmg is bad and that we lost most of our burst in just bull#%/(), i mean with a good fear and a timed bloodlust i can kill a paladin or similiar relativly fast often before his teammates fear breakes.
imo it's not that enhancement is bad, it's the other dps classes that are unbalanced atm such as dks and hunter.
typos is on the house.

I was really hoping to go back to Blood (since the leveling days) because as much as I love Unholy, a little change would be (is always) good.
But based on all your reports, not only Blood is not as good as it was predicted to be, but also, it seems, it will be worse than ever.
Oh well... keep Unholy, then.
*sigh*

Deathstrike dmg reduced.
So I was reading the patch notes and it looks like they lowered that damage on Death strike, does this mean they want us back to obliterate? I personally still haven't had the chance to test it on the ptr since I'm at work.

What about a spec like this for those who might not want to deal with an uncontrollable ghoul?
The idea would be to get the biggest Death Coils possible. Since not using a ghoul (or popping it right before a pull and hoping it lasts a few seconds before getting owned) frees up a glyph slot, the IT glyph becomes a somewhat attractive option for Blood, due to the extra RP generation.
Since Blood seems to be remaining about spamming HS, thus it will be pretty GCD-limited, you'd probably need to stay in Unholy presence (unless the extra RP from RPM gives enough of a buffer that you can DPS in Blood presence without sitting at 130 RP and wasting it).
The last 2 points I put into Annihilation just because I didn't really know where to put them - I figured 2% more crit on melee abilities is better than 2% more strength. You could also put them into Icy Talons for 8% more haste, dunno. But Epidemic isn't really necessary with this build since you'll want to cast IT as often as possible for the extra RP.
Again I have no idea how viable this is, never really played Blood much aside from leveling. Just seemed like a decent option for those who don't want an uncontrollable ghoul that will have more survivability, but less DPS since it won't be getting a lot of raid buffs.

I leveled inscription for the soul purpose of making a nobles deck. I don't have an herbalist so every mat used was from the AH. I made my deck within the first month or so of lich king. All in all I spent around 10k making the deck but made about 5k back selling other cards, decks etc. So for about 5k I got the best in slot trinket. I guess to some that doesn't seem like a daunting task but it does take a lot of gold which I am not about to pony up again because blizzard feels the need to adjust our stats/mechanics. Now I understand that gear can't last forever. Items get replaced with upgrades. Items get nerfed. Ok, fine. Mine was neither of those. Mine was due to a change in class mechanics or talents whatever you want to call it. So I will put in a ticket and I will argue my point with which ever drone gm they send out. Am I optimistic about getting it swapped out? NO! I will try though and I'll probably put a ticket in every day complaining about it...lol

Wow the new t8 stats suck hard... I didn't expect them changing it from bad to even worse.
Why so much haste again? Why so much stamina, even more than it had before. And am i right that it has less total crit than the current DPS25 t7?
The armorpenetration was fine. T7 was more in favor for Unholy/Frost DKs, T8 is (ok was) in favor for Blood dks.
Now its just.... meh....

That's the output from Rawr for the top caster trinkets. Mark of the War Prisoner is worth 94.3 DPS if you need the hit, 43.5 DPS without. Similar numbers for the JC trinket.

So this leads me to a question, which I've searched for but failed, how much dps is +50 SP? I assume that depends on the spell cast (2.5 second cast time, compared to something faster for example). The reason I ask, is that I'm trying to figure out if it's worth dropping the Mark of the War Prisoner for the Sundial of the Exiled. I'd have to re-gem to stay hit capped, which would drop around 50 SP.
Is that worth considering?

AttT
Hi, I was wondering if there is an addon which can monitor AttT mechanism timing. Something like swing timer but for AttT counting.
So I could get small amouth of ATP ( 150 ) for about 28s by switching betwen my armor and dps gear at right moment.
Thx for answears.
