Quick question, just going back to affliction having been destruction for a long long time.

Why do I drain soul at 25% as my "finisher" and not 35% sure there is a good reason can't remember what it is!

drain soul doesn't get 4x damage until the target is 25percent or lower.

i seem to have trouble timing & hitting all the shots that i need to, to optimize my dps, do you know of a macro that can help me? I am in a serious raiding guild, & optimizing/maximizing my dps is one of those "do or die" type of things. any help would be appreciated.

i really don't like the arena weapons being best so far. it forces (some) people into a part of the game they have little/no interest in. 192 stamina with 2 sockets is insane!

Comparing my SV specs DPS to rogues,mages and locks in our guild made me think i was doing something wrong. It's miracle to be in top 5, while the rest are pulling 5k-7.9k easily i barely can compete with them.
You stated some of the bugs after 3.1, yet fixing these bugs won't push hunter to be in top 5 at max in any ulduar boss fight.

Suggestions that will help PvE issue and not breaking PvP balance:
1- revert windfury change to affect ranged again.
2- mortal shots affect auto shots again.
3- improved tracking affect periodic dmg from BA and SrS.

was wondering what the benefit of putting two points in imp unholy presence instead of necrosis, for the 0/10/61 spec for example. is it only for the movement speed boost or do you get more dps out of unholy presence than blood presence with those points? Sorry if its a reposted question, if it is a link to the answer would be nice =]

Prepatch I always enjoyed Frost dps. I am currently looking at a Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft spec

Frost Strike being my main runic dump, with occasionally putting up unholy blight.
Right now I am all the way down frost but wanna test this, but kinda feel like it may kind fissle out with no boost to my blood runes at all, and basically relying on Obliv cits, and Froststrike Crits.

on another note, since i got the DRW glyph and specced 51/2/18 my results on the damagemeter has been extremely satisfactional
ended the xt-002 10man fight just above 6k dps (gimmicks etc but still)

i'm also extremely happy with ArP i must say, i got ~25% passive plus Grim Toll and you can really see the big numbers coming when GT proccs

had some 15k+ DS-crits and 13k HS-crits on Razorscale 10man, which amazes me a bit actually... didn't think DS would outnumber pre-3.1 obliterate allready (only have 1 u25-item, the ring from levi, and 1 u10-item, the neck from levi)

suffice to say, i won't spec out of blood any time soon


EDIT: hmm, armory bugs and wont show my talents reflected on the paperdoll :S aka crit from blood, exp from blood etc

We haven't tried Vezax on hard mode yet, so as Voldrethar is somewhat out of reach, does anyone have math/opinions on Worldcaver vs. Tier 2 Furious Glad weapons? Feel free to assume I can hit 6.5% exp. without the exp. from the carver.

My dps seems to be lower than it should be.On the test dummy i do 2.5k tops.In 25man nax tonight it was always around 3.3k.My prioritize rotation is KS>BA>ES>SSting>MS>SS.


My armory.Any suggestions are welcomed.

yes all, I can confirm, we are back to the days of MS war / Resto Druid 2v2s!!! Season 2 all over again :-) I highly recommend trying it again. The changes to Arms are phenominal

Hi this is for a hunter friend, currently which are the best hunter proffesion combinations to date?

Well since im playing pally and hunter i dont think it will be easy to get down pally with MM hunter. You cant drain his mana with viper (or at least when i played on pally i didnt met any hunter that can or good hunter that trys). For 1v1 hunter vs pally i would suggest to be 5/14/52 or 6/14/51 or 5/15/51 build since it gives u alot of skills that will prevent pally or warrior to stay on you and kill you. I'm also useing glyph that gives 30% slowing effect on target after remove of freezing trap effect (my point is that main dps of hunter is from range that means your opponet shouldnt get close to you and when he came u must have ur tricks to get away - sv build gives bunch of those). Probably you will have less succsess vs good druids but its still doable. About the glyph it will help also to force the pally to use his hand of freedom wich makes ur concussive shot more effective . For 2v2 3v3 5v5 its very dependable of what classes and builds are your teamates.

It all depends on how you play. Me personally I would go wit Jewelcrafting and either Alchemy or Blacksmithing.

Heres Why!


Jewelcrafting- I would defiantly use this because of the epic gems you can get. (+27 agility, +54 ap, +27 crit) ALSO- if you keep your 3 dragon's eyes in your gear you will not have to worry about gemming for your meta.

Alchemy- This is nice if you plan to be a serious raider having a 2 hour flask over 1 hour is real improvement so you would have to spend less gold on flasks and elixirs.

Blacksmithing is nice because of the added bracer and glove sockets.
