I feel the 0-17-54 spec isn't providing any benefit over the 3-13-55 spec. The extra RP you get for DC is nice but is it worth what your sacrificing talents for? I definately feel 2 talent points in IR is a waste of talents pve wise. I'm currently testing the 3-13-55 spec but haven't had much raiding with it since I mainly tank for my guild. Am thinking about going 0-13-58 though just to see how that fares. In this spec I would max out Necrosis and pick up IUP which would be helpful on some fights. Here is my current spec. Am running with 2 piece T8 bonus. Currently ~30% ArP.

My problem is the broader state of our class which this nerf muddies even more:
1) As of 3.2, we have no viable raid spec without at least 51pts in the Fire tree - with multi-LB + HS Proc that was almost tolerable but now it just smacks of lazy design.
2) We have 0 specs no matter how good you are that allow us to compete with an equally skilled, equally geared warlock. AND they have 3 raid specs that can do DPS comparable or greater than our 1.
I'd like to see a context where if I am a "great mage" - that elevates me over other pure DPS classes ... not just "less great" mages.
You can call this "complaining" if you want but the simple truth is that I find very little incentive to maximize my DPS / gear / performance etc. if the best I can hope for is being 5th in damage on a range-friendly fight while having to use the same spec and gear as every other raiding mage just to avoid falling out the top 10.

Is it just me or was 41/30 hybrid spec a bit revived with 3.2 coming out and pet scaling a lot better with your stats?used destro 13/58 before it came out and now I tried 41/30 again and while imp gives you 100% chance to crit when hitting critically you already have overall the same crit permanently from felguard thanks to demonic tactics and about 300-400 more spellpower from demonic knowledge and +5% more damage from master demonologist,and spellstone provides 240 haste with points in master conjuror allowing for much faster casts,felguard also deals out a great deal more damage then imp and also cleaves for some AoE and if it dies you can at least once summon it quickly back with fel domination,something that you cant do with imp on destro spec,anyone got any ideas about this?Would really like to hear some pro/cons,thanks in advance!

Eventually, as I used an addon to create an all-in-one macro and had problems with the addon, I thought I would go down the click-button route. I've been using the following, for a while, and it's proven quite successful:
- MAIN MACRO:

/click MultiBarBottomRightButton9

I would like to get Multi-shot worked into what I have somehow.
At the moment, I have no trouble working it by hand - but would just like to try it in a macro. Ideas?
Also, is anyone doing anything - other than manual application - with Kill Shot?
I am aware of the feeling on macro versus manual, but this "multi-shot" issue is just to see what's possible - to compare and contrast - so any help would be gratefully received.

I've got a question about Enh shaman. I've heard that enhancements scale very bad with items. For example in Icecrown gear they will be at the down of damage meters. Is it ture ? Or is there inversely ?
They could scale bad with items due to the fact, half of their spellpower is from raid buffs. Not so much dmg is depended by the weapons.
What do you think?

another UH spec now with more SS! :P
hi all, great forum here =), im really really no pro but i found something that works for my gear(very bad) and playstyle and might help others
why ? = because i work alot and have shitty gear AND i wanted to keep SS in case of future nerf of oblit with uh
the spec = 2/10/59
gear= basicly in all preraid gear from heroics and some pvp items, just 1 t7 (chest) so no bonus from it. and every slot has STR for the AP and of course the AP enchants where they fit, weapon is a titansteel destroyer
this spec so far outperforms 0/17/54 , 12/0/59 and 51/0/20 . keep in mind that with high level gear this prolly isnt true, but if you are badly geared then it will work out really nice, i was topping out 3.6k singletarget dmg in HVH today same place with the other specs i couldnt break 3k, great stuff is you have an abundance of RP to blow on DC, and thats what its aimed for, lots of DC so dump dump dump :P
im sure it can be improved and please do but remember its for low lvl gear
the reason im not having more dc in the rotation is because this is actually my castsequence, i add more dc's and throw in another SS manually because its very situational, and its easy to bork the castsequence
SINGLE ROTATION= Plague Strike, Icy Touch, Blood Strike, Blood Strike, Scourge Strike, Death Coil, Scourge Strike, Death Coil, Scourge Strike, Death Coil, Scourge Strike
this needs work, i havent figured it out yet because of time issues, basicly built this build yesterday, but it works for now
AOE ROTATION= Plague Strike, Icy Touch, pestilence, Scourge Strike, Death Coil, Blood Boil, Scourge Strike, Blood Boil, Death Coil
spam these and hotkey DC cause you will cast it alot inbetween, whenever your rp is high enough just spam away another dc (dont do it when exactly at 40 or ull just mess up the rotation, gotta have an overhead, and you will)
GLYPHS: GHOUL,DARK DEATH,UNHOLY BLIGHT
SIGILL: vengeful heart (havent got enough badges to try awereness yet but i suspect this is better anyhow since im dc heavy)

a lil edit: try and get speed enchant on boots i know i dont but i intend to have that. and also it would be GREAT if anyone else could try it, possibly even with high lvl gear (high being very relative :P)
edit2: forgot to mention in the AOE situations you can switch target between the first DC and the second DC to get UB going on another target and just keep repeating that on the dumps til the diseases drops

Hey, I've gotta short question here. Do you guys think, that my current gear is good for Blood-DPS, or should I go Frost or Unholy DPS? I'm asking that, because I do very hard at hitting 5k DPS in Raid, and my guild is telling me that I'm to low on DPS. I switched than to Tank, and now with 3.2 I wanted to give DPS a new try.

I think 10 man was a little challenging without the right group makeup.
The first two bosses were insanely easy the first time I did it but the 3rd was hitting way too hard for our healers to deal with, 2 raid + a disc priest I believe. The tanks weren't great, Uld 10 geared, so could've been a bit of the problem. Anyway, the first two fights are rather simple number wise, and I think we got lucky with poisons on the Jormungar's and just aced that every time. We wiped against Icehowl for maybe 30 mins then tanks had to go, it was a pug so not a worry there.
Came back the next day with another pug, well bunch of friends mainly. Started as resto druid, holy priest and disco priest with a DK Tank and Pally OffTank, both well geared, and a bunch of 3k+ dps. We did fine, got Gormak without trouble and did the Jormungar's with a little trouble, but Icehowl was another wipefest. Disco priest was lacking in heals majorly and had to go so replaced him with an Uld 25 geared Holy Pally. After that it was no trouble just getting the poison on the Jomungar's. So I think the hardest part in 10 man atm would be heals not really expecting the rather bigger requirements than that in Uld and Naxx? It was harder than 25 man but not all that challenging, and it was fun
25 man I did earlier today. Extremely simple, over half the group had no clue what to do. First try we wiped on Jormungar's cause tank got stunned and then everyone just died. Second try we lost a tank on Gormak, unlucky timing I think?, but pulled through and easily finished it off with 20+ people alive. Our 25 man is mostly Uld geared, we generally sit around 4k dps average, with the top being 5.5k generally, was myself at 4.8k in this fight, tanks are well geared, 40k+ hp buffed, and heals are good but was missing a holy pally this try, swapped for a healing shaman.
Overall we have had no hassle like we have on Ulduar so far, we're only 10/14 from today (finally downed Thorim today :P). I'm hopping the next boss is more of a challenge on 25 man and about the same on 10 man, maybe higher dps requirements?
No group, unless in Naxx gear, should have great trouble with either mode. They are rather fun fights though and you do start to worry when Icehowl charges you and he's on 25%, you just hope to god you don't stuff up :P Better than Uld was for me so far

Rune of Repulsion or The Black Heart?
I know the popular answer is "gief stamina pliz, even if it's 1 stamina vs 1000 dodge". But I'd like an explanation. The later is ilevel213, the former 200. "Have you ever tried ulduar hard mode?" is not an answer. I have.

Hi guys, just a quick question. Last night the mace Bloodcrush Cudgel dropped in ulduar. Im thinking of replacing the hand of nerub I currently use. Im a combat rogue, using 15/51/5 atm (Slow Sword / Fast Fist). Stats wise the mace is better, however im just worried ive missed something in the talents. Can somebody please clarify my beleif that this change will not harm my dps. Thanks.
BTW - Please dont say your not hit capped etc. Currently regemming :-)

Next was Ulduar Heroic, went really good so here you go with the WoL Log:

I am using Glyph of Disease because I now have the possibility to switch between rotation, wether we have an enhancer or not. And I am producing enough RP to get some FrostStrikes, most of the time to much to use... and the 3 points in subversion helped a lot. Especially for OB crit
Talking about aggro, anyone else had problems without subversion??
Similar / Different expereciences concerning Subversion / BCB?

Hi there, that's a cool UI that you have there, whats the name of the buff UI that you have there on the right side?
Also what UI are you using for the party that shows the cool images of chars?
Getting back on the topic I am also using 3/52/16 and its working great. I was thinking about going 0/54/17 but not sure if that's gonna work.

Is there a post anywhere pointing out what is a good point to be at for starting to raid? Things like what should your ap, agil, hit, etc.. be before you decide to raid? And is there a post listing a pre-naxx gear list to get before u raid? i have a 80 warrior and I know there are many posts helping you know where u should be at before you start to raid and i'm interested in knowing if there is one for hunters. Thanks
