also, you really have to rework your gemming. most of the socket bonuses you have really aren't worth the it. it would most likely be a dps gain if you regemmed for straight spell power except for two purified dreadstones (or the stamina one if you want more health) for the meta gem bonus. the only time you should gem for a bonus is if it's +9 spell power, or possibly +7 spell power at times.

didn't even notice your first trinket. hit rating trinkets are a waste of dps in so many ways, considering you can gain hit rating from many other resources.

hi guys this is the first time i write here....i'd like to have some advices on my moonkin set and future improvement

as you can see i have 2t8 and 2t9 my rotation is right (i know i have to replace blue gems with epics and enchant feets XD)

well now i have in may bag ready to use [Cloak of Displacement][Bracers of the Autumn Willow][Stormrage Crown] and i'm waiting for [Polished Dragonslayer's Signet]

with my guild i can loot items from toc 10(575)and 25(4/5.....anub in near to death hopefully) ony 10-25...ulduar 10 (some HM-no algalon) and 25 and previus raid

i have about 140 [Emblem of Triumph]

so my normal dps is between 4.5k and 6k but i think i can do better with some upgrades but i really need some help because i know i can make some big error...i'd like to know which is the best stats in my situation and what are the best upgrades

Karbunkle, I suggest you play around with Rawr and see what it can tell you with various gear configurations and raid buffs.

Enhance Shammy respec

Thank you for posting, since I just respecced from elemental to enhance for groups and raids I can factor my numbers a little better. I do have a question though, does anyone happen to know base hit rate for enhance shammy since they dual weild. Thanks,

are you remembering to include full raid buffs when you calculate stuff in rawr?

Blood and Frost Vs. Unholy

Have any1 tryied on the PTR how Unholy's DPS is doing when compared to Blood and Frost.

I mean after BiS. Which spec is taking the lead?

Will we start to see blood DKs switching to UH? Or the other way around?

Blizzard needs obvious guidance with LoH as their band aid fix of slapping Forbearance on things is getting old.

I've come up with something a holy pally would hopefully like in exchange that doesn't fuck over prot and shouldn't be overpowered in PvP.

First off, forbearance on LoH, remove it, entirely. Create a new Debuff that lasts 30 seconds or more, call it something witty, unlike "Nice damage and I'll let you finish, but I just got some awesome heals." While active, a target can't be healed by LoH or given Hand of protection. Also make LoH share a 30 second CD with Hand of Protection to avoid the OPness of "Oh hey! Watch this! Bubble, BoP and LoH my whole 3v3 team!" However, normal LoH does not apply this debuff because:

Lay on Hands
40 yd Range
Instant - 3 Minute CD
Heals a friendly target for an amount equal to ~20% of their base health and restores 50% of their base mana.

The current mana gain is currently 50% base anyway. If the mana is an issue for balance, get rid of it. Holy paladins shouldn't need it as much as they currently do. As for the Debuff, it doesn't do enough to warrant it any longer. It's essentially a NS+HT (10k instant heal on a 50k health tank vs 13k+ NS+HT, actually worse, but they can't cast it as feral/boomkin). This is where Holy now needs it buffed so, slightly redo the LoH talent and recreate the LoH Major Glyph.

Improved Lay on Hands
2 Ranks
Grants the target of your Lay on Hands spell 10/20% reduced physical damage taken for 15 seconds. In addition, the cooldown for your lay on hands is reduced by 30/60 seconds. Once healed, the target cannot be the target of Lay on Hands or Hand of Protection for 30 seconds.

Major Glyph for LoH:
Increases the healing done by your Lay on Hands spell by 100%.

If you wanted to increase the mana gain too, double it as well. Whatever. Mana shouldn't be something holding this crap back.

Minor Glyph for LoH:
Remove or replace with a useful minor, as I think most paladins had this glyph. Possibly something related to increasing the duration of all our blessings by 10 minutes. Please. Having a bear and a tree in a 10 man means you need to give out 4 different pally buffs for one class if you don't have replacements, meaning you HAVE to use minor blessings, which suck still.

Now, I wouldn't say this is overpowered as a tank, more just a gimp CD when your healers are slacking. If it's too good, increase the CD so it's a guaranteed once per fight and reduce it more as holy.

Thoughts? Crap? Right direction? I'm just bored of them slapping us in the face because of PvP, which is now focusing on 1v1 and BGs? I mean really. If a paladin is a three phase boss fight, then who's the overpowered class killing us three times? /rant

what's a good pvp&pve spec?

I am really trying to put together a destruction spec that will allow me to do great in PvP, but still keep my damage up in PvE.
I have comed through the 44 pages, and besides my vision blurring, I just can't seem to find what I am looking for.

So 1 I would like a good spec
2) what talents are optional

I found it useful to bind my auto-run to my scroll-wheel click - you can toggle it on, jump turn/target and not stop moving.
When keybinding spells, I reccommend doing it slowly - don't replace all your 1-9 with q,e,s,f,g,t,v,c,z,x (plus ctr/shift) at once, you will fail horribly. Do it a few spells at a time, and pvp with them a bit to get used to using them on the run.

Does anyone know if having dual specs means you have to keybind 2ce?

My thoughts on runspeed to boots is not that it increases my dps by getting me from A to B faster but rather that it gets you out of w/e is at A faster. Dead dps is no dps and sometimes you just can't use aspect to move out of something. Maybe 10 more AGI is worth that risk but I personally use Cat's Swiftness because it is a risk that doesn't seem to outweigh the benefit of a chance at not dying..

Not to sound rude or anything, but what happened to your Dual-Talent Specialization?

While the build you linked is as close as you can get to having a multi-purpose build, I reckon the lack of Improved Imp and Improved Soul Leech will hurt you. Also, for PvP reasons it really hurts not including Improved Succubus, which (in my opinion anyways) is one of the talents classified as "Must-have" for Destruction PvP. You also lack Fel Summoning, another cooldown that often needs to be use to adapt to certain PvP situations. Personally I really get butthurt over not having Improved Soul Leech. I reckon the build you linked will be a good 10-15% behind a pure PvE build due to your Imp basically being harmless and you having to Life Tap alot more.

Another thing to consider is glyphs. I know for myself that I feel naked not having any PvP glyphs (and mind you, I -barely- PvP as it is) and/or having any PvE glyphs. Let's say 15-20% behind, at the very least.

In the end, I would just like to say that my main point is that you will be 90% (arguably less) at two things instead of 100% at one thing. Ask yourself if that is really what you want. If you were raiding with me I would never recommend ending up like that, but eventually, it is (of course) all up to you.

As for the "what talents are optional" I reckon you should check first post one more time. At least to me it provides me with the information you were looking for, ie. which talents that can be ignored/avoided and so on.

hello,

In the weapons swapping 51/18/2 spec, for yellow socket with +4 agility, is it better to gem with:
- 20 agility
- 10 agility & 10 crit
- 10 agility & 10 hast

and what's the gain of EP between a dagger 1.8 speed and a 1.4 dagger with same ilvl in MH?

Hi everybody,

I'm very happy to post on this incredible forum

I have a question for my rogue.

I play in a mutilate spec (51/17/7) and I have to make a choice for my OH.

On my MH, I have [Black Knight's Rondel].

For my OH, I have the choice between an other [Black Knight's Rondel] or [Namlak's Supernumerary Sticker]

If I use a scoring by EP, I have 725 for the first and 600 for the second, but I think the speed of OH is very important because of the talent Focused Attacks and for the OH poison.

So do I have to take [Black Knight's Rondel] or [Namlak's Supernumerary Sticker] for my OH ?

Hi,

I just have a question for OH weapon...

I'm in a classic mutilate spec : 51/13/7

Is the speed is really the most important, considering the talent Focused Attack, or it's better to take a lower speed dagger in OH if it had a better stats (better EP score for example) ?

Yes! (Reading the tooltip ingame also helps )

The thing is, when you refresh your diseases with pestilence the damage doesn't change. So even if you refresh your diseases with 3000 AP less, it won't affect them. They keep on rolling on your buffed AP. With my crap gear i usually have over 2000 average damage per tick through the whole bossfight. (unholy spec)

I dont use Bleeding Hearts because it doesn't work. I use Powermeter to track my AP.

Im new tho the replying on this forum i like to read about it. Stats etc..

Im a feral drood not new to pvp but deffility not a 2k rating player. we did 3vs3 but its not what i wanna talk about it.
I recently started 2vs2 with a rl friend of mine a disc priest. And he started with the bleu set of pvp. And i wanna say that since we got that instant nature spell we kinda rock at pvp. Im full furious relentles geared but still the priest is way undergeared but we win. So i think feral droods are rocking in 2vs2
